Property Ratings at Crest Manor
I've been living here since June of this year. Crest Manor Apartments are disorganized and do not communicate effectively internally or externally. My move-in day was delayed because the manager didn't know I was moving in; never mind, I had been working with one of their employees for two months prior and sent all my necessary documents; coincidentally, on move-in day, all records had been "misplaced." Next, let's discuss the many maintenance issues I've had in the short four months I've lived here. I didn't move in with roaches, but somehow, I now have roaches. I asked a Crest Manor employee to send pest control; over 3 weeks ago. Pest control came at 5 pm and told us he couldn't spray because we would need to vacate the apartment for 4 hrs so it could air out. The was not communicated with us when pest control was requested. Crest Manor never warned us of the protocol. Now it's 3 weeks later and I still see roaches and they pest control is no where to be found. It's currently 11:34pm pm on 9/14/2024. I live on the first floor and it's currently 80 degrees inside my home while its 82 degrees outside. Maintenance has "fixed" my air 5 times and it won't drop past 80 on the first floor.
The management at this complex is incompetent, they have no sense of empathy, when you need something or they make a mistake it's no problem but when there is an issue they are slow to make something happen. I have been here for a number of years and it has been on a down hill decline for the last few years.
The complex is nice but requesting repairs or service is very difficult and timely. I am a current a resident and have been trying to remedy an ongoing issue with the Air conditioning for some three months with very little results. The staff and management appear helpful but do badly in completing any request for the services of maintenance or following that request to the end and ensuring job completion. It would appear that the best they can come up with is, the outside temperature needs to be above 75 degrees for the emergency repair service, this is after 6 initial attempts during business hours to fix the problem. I cannot say too much about this complex but caution is recommended especially when considering the cost of rentals. I agree with other reviews that the apartment are not cleaned correctly before any new residents move in, our apartment had food debris still in the fridge. The paint job was one of, cover what you can see, we even got a free wet dog air freshen smell built into the carpets, the body shop loves our custom for air freshner.
The apartment complex is really nice. However, the kitchens are not suitable for families. The kitchen is very small and has very little cabinet space for storing kitchen items. The living room and dinning room is small also. There is very little storage space inside the apartments. Perhaps college students, individuals that are never home, and individuals that have very little personal belongings may appreciate these apartments better than the average family and individuals that spend lots of time at home. The apartments have lots of wasted space. They should have just included the built-in sections as space for the residents to decide what they want to do with and/or put in those particular spaces (e.g., built-in living room bookshelf areas, bedroom built-in desks and book shelf areas). Maybe this is why they have storage areas within the buildings and detached garages. However, these amenities come with additional costs. The gates hardly ever work and when your guests come to visit, the key pad for the gate entrance hardly ever works. Most of the time you have to wait for someone to come in and/or go out of the gate to gain entrance. They said they have problems with the gate and are working on it, but no success so far.
There was an arrest last week in Unit 19 and Police took drug supplies out of the apartment. The woman who lived there is still in the unit two weeks after the raid. This is troubling. Please check police records to validate my claims. They are 100% true.
Horrible apartments. Terrible construction, awful office staff, dirty when we moved in, market rate raises expectations only to have them shattered upon moving in.
My Apartment complex is the best in Lewisville Texas. It is close to major highways for fast commute to Dallas , Plano, Denton. you are right in the middle everything. we have an exorcise room that is always clean, the machines are always working, they even provide towels. unlike other apartments that I have lived in the common areas a places that you really do wont to hang out in. The staff is always professional and ready to make sure that your every need is taken care of. They even put on seasonal event that are really good. This place reminds me a being on a spa vacation. My husband and I are very glad we choose crest manor to be our home.
Although I chose these apartments because of reasonable prices and great amenities, the price has gone up significantly each time I've renewed, and I feel like I'm over-paying now. And the kicker is that although they post that there are security cameras, my car was hit I'm the parking lot, and no one left a note. Obviously, I went to the office to find out who did it, but there was no security after all, and I was out of luck. Parking in general has gotten worse; if I get home after 8 or 9, I usually have a hard time finding a decent spot. A garage would be desirable, but there wasn't a garage available anywhere near my unit.
The title pretty much says it. Crest Manor is just too good. When my wife and I went in to the leasing office we were slapped in the face with wonder. The leasing office is incredible, the staff is super friendly, and the amenities...that's where we were sold. Salt water pools, two pools! Trash pickup at your door! Quiet neighborhood! Children's parks! Charcoal grills! Picnic tables! Basketball and tennis courts! And the inside of the apartments are absolutely gorgeous! The complex is less than 5 years old, and the newest phase of apartments are less than a year old. At first after seeing the leasing office and hearing the amenities my wife and I thought it was going to be way out of our budget, but it wasn't! This apartment we live in is worth way more but the price is just right. The maintenance team are incredible and are fast and efficient. They are friendly and always have a smiling face. Come check this place out you will love it!!!!!
I love my apartment. It is very lustrous and spacious. Beautiful community and great staff. The office is always hosting events for the residents. Not to mention the amenities they have to offer and the wonderful pool. This is definitely our home and no plans on moving anytime soon.
First year had a nice price cut, but gone second year
As being in my early twenties, I've moved around from a few apartment complexes. I've never been more satisfied with a complex than I have been with Crest Manor. I live in a two bedroom and it's more than spacious enough for two people. The floorolan is great and there is plenty of cabinet space, built in shelving, and closets. Both bedrooms have walk in closets, which is definitely a plus. The pool and amenities are great. Families are always at the pool, which is great to see because that's a sure way to see if the complex is safe. Trash is picked up right by your door. The maintenance team here is so great. I cannot express enough how great and efficient they are. I never have to wait for something to be fixed. They are always there the same day. I have another year left at this complex and I will definitely be renewing my lease.
