This place is horrible. The entire lease we were dealing with massive amounts of roaches, appliances breaking and not really being fixed very well and Weed. The weed smell was suffocating to say the least and the office refused to do anything about it even though it’s a violation of the lease. They said to call the police and the police couldn’t do anything. We couldn’t wait to leave at the end of our lease. When we did leave they tried to over charge us on our last water bill by $100s of dollars. We had to go through a very long process to get out deposit back. Just save yourself the hassle.

Im yet to receive my holding fee called several times left several messages no response nothing they said 30 days. They said I would receive it. I think its very unprofessional to not even respond.

An excellent place to reside. I have moved to Bexley at Matthews in late January 2017 and since them having a pleasant stay. There are so many positive things to share , starting from the affordable price , large spacious apartments , knowledgeable and helpful staff members, 24X7 helpline and the quickest ticket resolution time. I would have given full five stars only if The Gym had few more equipment, apartments had been in newer(inside there are minor cracks and signs of wear & tear). However considering the benefits the downsides are minimum to complain about.

This community is amazing and they really care about their tenants. I watched the property manager get and deliver the mail for an elderly resident in the purine rain so the lady wouldn't have to walk out of apartment. The grounds are also well maintained and the entire staff is extremely friendly. Great place to live!

The first thing is the ladies in the office. They are both so helpful, caring, and proactive in their approach to running the property. They work as a team and are great at it. The buildings are nice, and kept well, although the wood steps can be very loud. Even though they're loud to the person walking up or down them, I rarely hear them being utilized by other residents. I'm on the top floor though so I don't know how much of a bother the sound is to apartments on the lower levels. The apartments are beautiful (although, currently a little high in price). My only complaint is that because my building is on a hill....I'm technically on the 4th floor of the building and there is no elevator. Movers and visitors complain about that ALL of the TIME. I almost didn't get my furniture because the policy was to not deliver to the fourth floor without an elevator. But my building is not the majority. I have a friend in another building (on the top floor) and their apartment is truly on the third level. Other than that, the complex keeps you informed to changes around the property. They have pool parties, a nice gym, a Laundromat, a quiet and clean landscape, and a great location. There is only a trash compactor at the front of the property so garbage is everywhere. This allows for an even more pristine look and feel. I like the complex thus far, and I feel right at home in the diverse neighborhood (on the property). I would recommend Bexley again and again.
My roommate and I moved into Bexley a few months ago, after a referral from a friend. When we went to look at the apartments we were helped by Maria, she was awesome! She was so helpful through the whole process. Since moving in we have had no problems! The maintenance staff is great and we love our neighbors! Not to mention the great location! We are so close to downtown Matthews with tons of great restaurants and the weekly farmers market. We are also only a short drive from uptown Charlotte! I highly recommend Bexley at Matthews to any and everyone!
