Maple Village is a convenient suburban community just west of Downtown Omaha. The neighborhoods of the Maple Village area, which include Maplewood Hills, were once considered the outskirts of Omaha, but today they’re a thriving suburban locale that’s great for families and commuting professionals. You’ll find modern single-family home developments and a plethora of affordable apartment communities. There are restaurants and stores galore – of both the easily recognized variety and a few local spots – along Maple Street and just off Interstate 680. Westroads Mall is a popular place to shop just south of Maple Village, and there are plenty of green spaces in neighboring communities like Benson Gardens. The interstate and Highway 6 make short work of a commute into Omaha, whether it’s for work or play.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It’s not the newest place around but it’s nice for the price. The location is perfect and they try to keep up with the repairs.

Hey, neighbor! Thanks so much for being part of our Country Estates community and for sharing your experience with others! We hope you're enjoying your spacious townhome and our community amenities, and we look forward to chatting with you again. Have a wonderful day!
If you choose to move here, good luck! The units are complete trash and need major work done. They are old and literally falling apart. For 2 years I have lived between very loud neighbors - you can literally hear everything and complaining does nothing. This area is also not the safest with shootings happening down the street on a regular basis. Like I said, good luck!

In the last 6 months, this place has gone downhill. Management has changed and the front office is extremely unhelpful and rude. Our neighbors moved in a brought mice to the row of houses and it took over a month for them to send someone to put down traps in ours. However, when it's a row of houses, you need to treat the whole row. In addition, our neighbors have had their car window smashed and 2 weeks later, robbed at gunpoint. Not a safe area anymore. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

Country Estates was an ok place to live for awhile...however, in 2017, I counted 4 different changes in managers. Melanie is pure evil. Sure, on lease signing day she is going to present herself proffesionally, but after that you are DOOMED! First, you can expect to get nickel and dimed to death. If your empty trash can is still at the curb the day after pickup you'll be charged $25. If there is trash or debris around your property (doesn't matter if it didn't come from you) $25. Your basement WILL flood, they all do. Cheap paint will crack, flake and peel off the wood. The hollow core doors have been repaired multiple times and will come apart-they'll get you for a door replacement at move out and just repair it again. The pan drawer to the stove was from another that didn't fit on the rails and dropped. The bottom rack to the dishwasher was from another and didn't fit, which rendered the soap drawer unable to open and release detergent. Toilet fixture repairs were shoddy causing your toilet to run incessantly. They refuse money orders for rent payment making you dependant on getting to a bank to handle rent. If you work during banking hours that will interfere with your ability to pay-late fee is $75. They charge a $10 fee to pay online or demand a cashier's check-also $10. Due to financial issues, I downgraded from a 3 bed to a 2 bed after 1 year. That meant we had to switch utilities (MUD and OPPD), but can't have two accounts and they use that to charge you a fee (in addition to the cost itself) for the duration needed to change units, was $35 dollars each. I tried to negotiate to pay 1/2 of that ($35), they agreed and then rescinded. I got them to agree again and they tried to charge me twice. They admitted to losing the payment, but that didn't stop them from demanding it with threats of eviction and harassment. Finally, on the opposite side of Sahler 4 units caught fire and have not been replaced. On 106th Ave another unit burned down, it was 2 units away from ours. The residents had just moved in and the lady had to jump out of the 2nd floor window to survive. She broke an arm and a leg. That's what living here is likely to cost you-LITERALLY.
They make promises that they cant keep. the Maintenance people always take the cheap way out and they have a growing list of things to do in my apartment. not to mention the bats, spiders, and increasing mistakes with over charging for rent.. But its home..
After one year of living here 4 new apartment managers & 3 new leasing agents circulated the office. Basement floods even a year later (after multiple contacts with management), and covenants are not enforced as required. Plus side is animals are allowed (although the breed restrictions are not enforced). Overall, I would not recommend this place to a friend seeking a new home.
