Cortland North Dallas is the best apartment I've stayed in. The management staff and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. The overall apartments are fantastic and have updated appliances. I highly recommend moving here!

Honestly, too expensive for the size of the apartment. Especially since the surrounding area has gone down hill over the last 4 years. Yes, this is a nice apartment/apartment complex but the price per square footage is honestly ridiculous at the end of the day, especially in this economy. There just aren’t enough amenities/perks for what residents are paying.

Clean and peaceful environment of community makes everyday enjoyable. Grocery and food is within 5-10 min distance. Nearby trail gives you access to enjoying nature. Maintenance is always on time to make your life smooth. Highly recommend to check out whenever looking for your next home.

Her communication skills go above and beyond. - listens/reads thoroughly first, explains and answers all of my questions concerns, helps me to understand the apartment rules that I didn't get to fully understand before, follows up within 24 hours, and great manner as she interacts with possible stressful environment. I appreciate all the help she gave me in the month of February 2025 and she is one of the reasons why signed for a new lease. Overall the units are well designed and hold up well. Covered parking is a big plus but my main issue is with mangement. They have constantly ignored simple requests from residents and there is constant turnover in the office that is simply not had elsewhere.

It used to be a better community. Now the people moving in have no respect for the rules. And since there is no security or a manager. Nobody since to care about implementing the rules. It was a lot better a few years ago.
This is an amazing community and I am so happy I made the choice to make this my home. The staff is amazing and the property manager Sara is outstanding who helped me through the entire process. Absolutely love being a Cortland North Dallas resident. Staff and maintenance crew are very nice, respectful and professional moving with a scene of urgency if there's anything you need. The gym is big ,the pools are clean. Location is perfect and I feel safe in this community as a first time Texas resident.

Price: reasonable Staffs: professional and responsive (best method: email, I don't recommend phone call) Building: clean and well-maintained (when issue arises, it gets resolved quickly for most of the time) Maintenance Team: mostly comes out within 24 hours unless it's a special case. Other Comments: I personally don't find it as an issue since I have nice neighbors but those of you who are sensitive with noise, you may want to check before moving in. Sound proof is average like any other apartment buildings in Dallas.

The gates in this apartment complex are almost always broken and open even though they advertise as being a gated community. There have been numerous package thefts, unregistered cars parked in assigned spots, and recently there was someone in the community who had their tires and rims stolen. Don't expect any help from the leasing staff either, we've been asking them for security, to address the nonstop barking dogs at night and the constant smoking with nothing being done.

I’ve been living here for over 3 and a half years and I cannot rave enough about the service team! My requests are typically completed within 24hrs of placing a request. I am very satisfied with their work and timeliness. That’s one of the reason I don’t want to move from Cortland North Dallas.

I have lived here going on 3 years and in 3 different apartments based on my needs, it has always been and easy transition from one place to the next and it there were any issues they were dealt with immediately. There has been a lot of office turnover since I've been here but they have always been professional and never miss a beat, Ashely is now the community Manager and is accommodating to the best of her ability. They answer phones, emails and questions which seems to be a big let down at some other places in the area. CND has been a great place to call home.

This is the first place I toured when I started searching about six months ago. The prices were higher than the other places that are around but inside they were a lot nicer and having a gym with cycling bikes and a big TV to follow along with the workouts impressed me I have always been so nervous about going to the gym and using the bikes or to the classes because I am still a beginner but since I am able to do it on my own whenever I get out of work or before I go to work as been great. This is only the third place I have lived on my own, but it is the nicest. I like that we have a carport parking and we don’t have to pay extra for that. When I applied it, it take a little bit long to get approved but everything went through so that made me happy. I will give another review in a few more months, because I am thinking about possibly going to a different building so I can be closer to the dog park.

I’ve been here for a decent amount of time (over 2years) and things seem to be improving slowly here. There are still minor issues with the property, but they haven’t treated me unfairly, the property is maintained (gardening and exterior with the exception of a few broken lights on some buildings), they throw resident events sometimes and seem inclusive. For me, when I first moved here, it was a good starting apartment due to rent being affordable but now it’s up with the luxury pricing and well…yeah.

The Cortland overall is a nice property. Landscaping seems to be always kept up and the leasing office is always changing with new agents now but customer service is good. The pricing is reaching those of “luxury” units even after all other fees it seems and that’s unfortunate. Maintenance team is great, well at least for me, they sprays seem to show up either the day of or after I made the service request. We shall see how this year goes since things are currently changing at the property.

Don’t move here. You over pay and your treated like trash. They don’t fix thing broke and if they do they break something doing it. Not once has pest control came out but you get charged for it. They charge you for trash and 28 days off it if the month I have to take my own trash. They’ll tow your car even your in your reserved spot, but won’t row a car that was been parked in visitor spot for months that’s broke down.

This is an exceptional place to live. The maintenance is stellar. It’s almost always same day. The landscaping is beautiful. The apartments are modern and updated in a very stylish way. We have some of the most pleasant neighbors. The neighborhood is quite most of the time. It’s dog friendly. So if you love dogs, this is the place to be. The office staff is super sweet. I’ve never received any rude remarks or anything of the sorts. They’re very patient and informative. They’re also quick. They don’t leave you waiting for service, you’re always taken care of the second you walk into the office. I’ve never had an issue living here. I love it.

Cortland North Dallas is a great, safe community. My only complaint is that you can tell the buildings are a bit older, so I think the prices should reflect that. But honestly, the customer service makes up for that. Love it here.

Living at Cortland North Dallas is great. Crystal helped me get through the move-in process expeditiously, and the leasing team has been nothing but pleasant. The community seems to be close, and the grounds are neat and well tended. The only thing I'd like to see changed is an update to the deadbolts and doorknobs in use on some units- they appear to be loose/wobbly.
This community is always a pleasure to deal with! No matter what they always answer any of my questions, Come when called, and have always been so polite and never short with me. Been here about a month now and I like it so far. It is kinda pricey but the apartments are clean, maintenance staff are quick to help, and everyone in the leasing office is great! Crystal gave my husband and I a tour with no rush, answered all our questions in words we could understand, and helped us immensely during the application/lease signing process. She’s amazing!
Surrounded by trees and comfortable. Rent is reasonable. Maintenance staff is friendly. During the cold wave in February, we only had a small power outage. No pests. I am very satisfied.
Overall I have received great customer service from everyone that works here. I would like to send a special shoutout to my leasing representative Crystal she was top notch. From the beginning and every other time, I've reached out to her. She deserves raise.
Completely different experience from any other apartment we have lived in! Management is always reachable and responsive! Maintenance team is kind and attentive!
