East Rock rests just north of Interstate 91 and just a mile northeast of the center of New Haven. East Rock residents travel down Whitney Avenue for a quick 10 to 15-minute commute to Yale University and Downtown New Haven. Condo rentals are popular in this friendly community, but there’s several apartments communities and single-family homes as well. The town presents opportunities for neighbors to mingle, including the community gardens and weekly Upper State Farm Market. Edgerton Park hosts the popular Shakespeare in the Park series throughout the summer.
Partially located in the neighborhood, East Rock Park features a mountainous ridge that presents panoramic views of New Haven Harbor, the Long Island Sound, and surrounding areas. At the 425-acre park, residents enjoy paved-road biking and strolling along a nature trail.

I continue to enjoy living at the Corsair very much. The fall m-themed pumpkin display at the front door is a nice touch, and the various events that have been planned for the building add a festive air, and I only wish my schedule enabled me to partake in more of them.

We moved in about a week ago and have found the experience of living here pleasant, smooth, and intuitive. There's a nice casual community of people by the pool, everyone's very friendly and chill, and the convention of leaving things you don't need as you move out by the elevator banks has been really helpful to us as we assemble our household. The gym is amazing, and the soundtrack is perfect for our taste. We love it so far.

I recently separated from my ex-wife and was looking for a place to call "home" for my daughter and I after transitioning out-of-the-home once the divorce was finalized. We had been searching across the entire state, far-and-wide for a new place to call home when we discovered Corsair! My older brother had already been a resident for just over a year and my daughter and I would often come-by to visit when we would bare witness to the many exciting events that the Property Management Team would have organized for all members of the community! There is an amazingly, welcoming, and very inviting pool/outdoor area that I have to literally pry my daughter away from Corsair presents many unique opportunities for residents to socialize, network, and strengthen their community while allowing me to connect with a plethora professionals and my daughter to make and foster new friendships with other children/babies that happen to reside here at Corsair! The Corsair Community is very inclusive!

Everything is so good, the neighborhood, the amenities, the neighbors and the staff!! It’s expensive but you get what you pay compared to other apartment complexes in New Haven (from friend’s experiences)

Living at Corsair is the best! The rooftop and gym are my favorite, but all common spaces are amazing (inner courtyard, swimming pool, library). My experience so far is only positive!

Unfortunately the noise from highway is unbearable especially in the bedroom. 1st floor amenities are not bad but enhancing entertainment amenities like pool bar or golf zone would be great.

Love it! Need more resident events in the great room! Esp for events such as superbowl, emmys, golden globes, etc. Standing welcome event for new people monthly would be nice. I likewhen you invite outside vendors. For those of who work, we can only usually make one event. Offer yoga in yoga room consistenly.

I love living here. Excellent location, just the right place to live in East Rock. Close to Yale. Easy accesibility via i91 as well as i95 highways. Love the cafes and restaurants around. Staff is great! Love the community events- always fun! Gym has great view and equipments.

It feel safe living here. I love the lobby area and the Gym. I cannot wait to enjoy the pool next year when it gets hot again. People here seem very nice and friendly, definitely a young professional vibe.
