      The corazon is a wonderful place to live. Aubrey is extremely helpful and kind and the service team does fast and excellent work. Ercillia does an amazing job keeping the apartments clean, and it was spotless when I moved in. I also can’t imagine what it would be like here without Julio taking care of the grounds!

      Good location, package theft is a serious issue. Promised a rooftop that wasn’t opened. Carpets can be smelly due to pets, it may be a good idea to clean them more often or remove them.

      Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—it’s truly appreciated. Regarding the package concerns, we understand the frustration. Delivery companies are instructed to use the designated package lockers, and residents also have the option to provide door delivery instructions directly to the carriers. While we do our best in the office to track down misplaced packages—including checking for deliveries accidentally placed under the wrong apartment number—we recognize that carriers do not always follow protocol, which is unfortunately out of our control. We have also asked our evening patrol staff to keep a closer watch on packages as an added precaution. As for the rooftop, there was a slight delay due to necessary roof repairs and unforeseen delays from the furniture vendor. The good news is that the rooftop will officially open this week! In regard to the hallway carpets, our office team cleans them weekly. We do share your concern about pet waste, and it is disappointing when some residents do not clean up after their pets. If you ever notice any areas that require immediate attention, please don’t hesitate to let us know—we’re happy to address them promptly. Our entire team is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all residents, and we appreciate your continued support.

      No negativities... This property is great ! Just painted the building exterior ! new carpets in the hallways ! Cosmetically comfortable ! Number 1 office and maintenance team are stern but so pleasant communication I feel real comfortable with them...good community events...great pool area ...       I LOVE THE CORAZON!!

      I've lived in the neighborhood BEFORE Target and Whole Foods and have seen all of the changes. The new management has been nothing but stellar and the new AM, Janay, is a woman of her word with anything I present to her. The Corazon has my corazon!

      The office is always super helpful when booking the conference room for my meetings! If the conference room is ever full, we have a wonderful clubroom upstairs where I can work from with WiFi! Amenities are amazing and I enjoy the resident events in our clubroom as well!

      Corazon Apartment ATX Living

      The staff has always been helpful and courteous. They take the time to inform you about all the nuances and benefits of the apartments and area. Private parking is a perk and it’s downtown with plenty of restaurant's a places to enjoy. They are quick to fix any issues such as the garage gate. There’s an AT&T downstairs to help set up your internet and everything. Makes it extremely convenient to get your wifi set up.

      Best Apartments in East Austin

      I had troubles with picking up packages earlier this year, and the new leasing team always has my back for my packages. If I call them with a concern, Janay and Aubrey are able to assure that my package is in the locker. Thank God, we don’t use fetch!

      I've called Corazon Apartments home for approximately a year, and I can confidently attest to the incredible improvements within this community. Under the new management, a warm and professional atmosphere prevails. The enhancements here are evident in every aspect. The leasing team, in particular, has consistently shown exceptional hospitality, kindness, and tremendous assistance. It's surprising to come across negative feedback, as many of the issues mentioned are typical of apartment living. I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Corazon Apartments, especially if you're new to Austin and seeking a highly walkable and delightful neighborhood. I rarely need to use my car here, making Corazon a true home for me.

      Every time I put in a work order, the team marks it as “complete” and NEVER comes. I have to contact the office MULTIPLE times for it to ever be acknowledged. We kill at least 15 bugs a day. This place is awful. The blinds are broken. There are ceiling water stains (from a previous leak that was never fixed, even though it was reported and spoken about MULTIPLE times), and water stains around the bedroom windows from leaking water. Mold in the bathroom. Just awful.

      Do not live here!!!!! Maintenance never comes to complete service requests. Elevator doesn’t work. Fobs don’t work. Pool is always dirty. The hallways have splotchy paint on them for months. Homeless people in the stairwells and when brought to management they did nothing about it.

      Convenient location

      I’ve toured several of apartments in the Austin area and Corazon stood out the most to me. Moving to a new area is always so daunting, but the team at Corazon were very welcoming! I toured with Aubrey and it was a breeze! I had a lot of questions about the area (which the location is perfect, btw) and what the building had to offer their residences and she answered all of them in such a friendly and professional manner. Moving to a new area and integrating into a new community can be so daunting, but after learning that the management team throws events for residences to build that sense of community is helpful for us newbies to Austin! Now, the location is perfect! There is always something going on in East Austin especially when notable events like SXSW are in town and a lot of the spots that you see on your IG or FYP are within walking distance. However, Corazon is not located in the overcrowded side of downtown Austin where you have to fight traffic on the side streets to get home. A super plus to this location is that there’s staple stores like Target and Whole Foods across the street!

      Corazón is a fun place to live in the best neighborhood. However, maintenance concerns can take over three years to be resolved, it seems as if there is no urgency in the staff members, cars are broken into regularly. It has opportunity to be such an amazing complex. I am hopeful with the new management team.

      Not worth it

      This has to be the worst apartment complex ever, let me explain: 1. There's no security at all, there's always homeless inside the complex due to backdoors not working, or getting in from the garage due to lack of security, 2. Outside cameras are not working, and floodlights on the back not working. 3. Elevators not working. There's one elevator that has been out of commission for the most part, and never has a date of when it will work. The main elevator half-works, and it always breaks, having days we can't use it. 4. Hallways are filthy, carpets never cleaned, just "vacuum" but they have sediments and stink, and look ugly. 5. Unfinished painting jobs on all floors. Reason? They can't decide on a color. 6. Dirty everywhere, stairs always trashy, dog poop, smells, the secure gate wasn't working. 7. Noise everywhere. These apartments do not have noise reduction walls or windows, you can hear trash trucks at 4 am, or just simply construction work around 4/5 am. 8. Amenities... Roof grills never have propane; if asked, they say they have to order and never do. The list continues, and the sentiment is general, everyone complains on the forum, but at this point, the web forum is just a venting mechanism with no way to be actionable.

      Don't Recommend

      I would not recommend this building. Many units have cockroach infestations - multiple (5+) every day. Elevators constantly down without schedule to fix. The required trash service is inconsistent so the trash rooms regularly overflow. Stairwells and hallways smell. Management rarely responded to service requests and there is a lack of notifications about anything. Overall - common areas were not well maintained, and management was not very attentive to tenant requests.

      Don’t waste your money

      I have lived in two different units within this property over last two years and I can only say things have gotten worse with no improvements. The maintenance team is in many cases slow to act or just ignores service requests requiring multiple submissions to have work completed. There are many units that seem to perpetually be dealing with roach infestations. On the 6th floor there are perpetual leaks which have led to a consistent mildew and mold smell. Similarly you will be lucky to find 2/3 of the elevators working at any one time. The tag service is inconsistent and the trash chutes will simultaneously overflow leading to buildups in the trash rooms that the complex will only blame on the residents rather than deal with the problems. To top it off the building is most definitely not secure. There have been multiple instances of people getting in because the security doors do not properly close and have not for months. The only good thing about this place is the location. It’s very walkable and has good restaurants nearby.

      Avoid.

      Cockroaches, Ceiling leaks with paint falling off in my apartment with no repairs for 5 months and counting, holes in the hallway ceilings, moldy floors in hallways due to leaks (they installed air fresheners due to how bad it smells)…. all of that for 5+ months. And then they have the audacity to raise rents $400 per month (20% increase). I am appalled at management. I can’t believe how absolutely wrong this is. Avoid this apartment complex at all cost.       All Around Amazing

      I have lived in multiple complexes all across Austin and the staff here is above and beyond amazing. Best move in experience. Always friendly. Just hands down the best of the best. Amazing location. Great amenities. You cannot go wrong living here.

      Not worth the $$$

      Besides the location, this building has nothing going for it. The office staff are slow to respond, rude, and hard to communicate with. After living here for a while, still always feel like they are trying to get more and more money from me with fees and raised rent. I've had to deal with bugs and roaches way too often - to the point where I've had my own pest control come. The elevators are constantly broken and needing repair - when they are working they are SO slow. The fire alarms goes off randomly in the middle of the night frequently. I've had so many missing or stolen packages. They make you pay for parking when there literally isn't any place to park nearby. Valet trash is scam - the hallway smells like nasty garbage and they won't even take your boxes. The garage, elevators, and hallways are often dirty and littered with trash. Now that there are so many other newer and lovely buildings in the area, you should consider those!

      Roaches

      Multiple units on the East side of the building have roaches.

      New Management is Awful

      Since the new management came on board, the building has gone downhill. Only live here if you want the following: - fire alarms in the middle of the night once a month - refusal of the office to accept delivered packages - valet trash collection that won't take even small broken down boxes - refusal of management to remove unneeded charges; i.e. no longer need parking but they are forcing me to pay for it

      Love at first sight

      It's hard to find an apartment that looks exactly like the amazing photos that get posted online, but Corazon apartments really do. These gorgeous apartments have unique features like the wood block counter islands that make it feel so homey, in addition to killer amenities like a rooftop patio with stunning downtown views. With easy access to bikes, the metro, I35, East Sixth Street bars and the hippest up and coming part of Austin, Corazon does not disappoint.
