Summit is a small suburban city positioned about 25 miles west of Manhattan along Interstate 78. The close proximity to New York is ideal for commuters, especially with rail service available from Downtown. The local schools perform exceptionally well and the crime rate is among the lowest in the state, making Summit one of the most desirable communities in the region for folks raising families. Rentals range from neighborhood homes to budget-friendly apartments and condos.
The charming Downtown district is loaded with popular locally-owned businesses, from eclectic coffeehouses to international bistros to unique specialty shops, often housed in beautifully preserved historic storefronts. The city offers ample opportunities to spend quality time outdoors, with the massive Watchung Reservation to the south and Canoe Brook Country Club to the north, plus countless parks and nature preserves nearby.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Constantine Village
We've been living here only a few days and needed some minor repairs including the doorbell, towel rack, and toilet. Ed and Vinny were quick to come and resolve the issues which makes me a happy renter. The townhouse is spacious with roomy closets, hardwood floors and is freshly painted. The basement is a nice size too and the garage is huge. So far, I am very happy with Constantine Village.
I've been living in here over 3 years. The maintenance team and staff are very responsive to my requests. We had a leak in the faucet in our bathroom, and the water flooded the floor. They came over to check it out within 1 hour after receiving my request, and replaced with a new one on the same day. I am very impressed by their efficiency and also very grateful for their help!
We had a leaky shower head and the maintenance crew came over and fixed it that day, along with some other stuff I didn't even realize needed fixing! They work really hard and it shows. Very grateful to have them around.
I've lived here for a few years. Maintenance staff is fantastic. I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling, called it in and it was taken care of within the day. Also, schools are really good. kids can walk to elementary.
loving my new townhome w. attached garage! staff is amazing! Ed and Vinny are so quick to help with anything I need. Sheila was so helpful with the renting process and is so nice! Will recommend to others
I just moved here and I absolutely love it! My town house is spacious and already feels like home. The onsite staff is great and accommodating. Any request I make is address within 24 hours, if not sooner.
How would you like to have trash at your backdoor piling up and in plain view from your apartment windows especially the kitchen? Yum. I have complained and the issue is still not resolved. Paying market rent gets you unsightly garbage piling up and a discarded sofa sitting on the lawn for weeks. It's embarrassing and ugly. The squirrels have a regular meal from the trash. If the problem is not corrected mice and rats will add to the problem. This property is less than. Trash settles at the edge of the retaining wall from the other property and the street to get into parts of the complex is an obstacle course due to the potholes. There is nothing luxury about these apartments. Look elsewhere. The catch is the deals and the deals are because these apartments are not renting. I wished I had continued to look. I'm counting the days.

To be frank, I ultimately decided not to rent the place due to preference of my significant other. But Constantine Village charges relatively low rent and is conveniently located - Kings Food Market and the NJ Transit station are just 3~5 minutes away. Plus I found the on-site manager of the property, Krystyna, to be most pleasant. She is very nice and professional. I highly recommend this place.
