Located 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, Concord combines historical charm with contemporary living. Current rental rates average $1,340 for a one-bedroom apartment. The city centers around Concord Mills mall and a downtown district featuring independent merchants, antique stores, and a seasonal farmers market. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Lake Fisher's 534-acre park, while motorsports enthusiasts appreciate the proximity to Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR team facilities.
Concord's story began in 1750 when German and Scots-Irish settlers named the area "Concord" after resolving their differences about the county seat's location. Today, the city continues to grow while preserving its historical character. Residents have access to healthcare at Atrium Health Cabarrus and higher education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. The historic courthouse, now home to the Cabarrus Arts Council, anchors the local arts community.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Concord Flats
Mgmt took over May 2021. Blamed the previous mgmt for all their mistakes (still happening Feb 2022). Their sports court is a fenced in slab of concrete. No backboard or hoops to play ball. Tenants went months without a fridge, a month in the winter without heat, forced to pay extra for trash, etc. The people they hire to do work have to give the lowest estimate bc the work isn’t done right the first time. There’s trash all over the place even though there’s a dedicated grounds keeper. They told the tenants to put salt on the sidewalks instead of doing it themselves. It goes on and on.
I have lived at this complex for over 4 years. Hope and Bob are what make it work...Hope especially is very accommodating, polite and knowledgeable. Everyone can go to her with any concern and know it will be taken care of in a professional manner. She would be a great Manager if the position ever became available. I would not want to stay here if she were to leave,as well as Dimitri or Dustin.. Other apts I have lived in didn't come close to the professional and caring way they treat you here.. They all make a great team, I would hate to see any poor choices made on the part of the management.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We are so glad that you feel this way about our community! Thank you for your 5 star review!
I lived at Concord Flats for two years, and would have stayed another year, but took a job in another state. I am a single woman in my early 30s. No major complains. People mostly kept to themselves, and there were some friendly people also. Bob and Hope were helpful and friendly, and their service made the experience better. The gym was a plus, and so was the soda machine. Sometimes there would be kids/teens in the gym, which was annoying, sometimes super annoying, but I eventually learned to ignore them. I never went to the pool, but a lot of the families with kids did. Overall, the price fit my needs at the time, and I feel I got my money's worth.
