I can not take the amount of insects and spiders on the stairwells, landings, and balconies. I was unable to use my balcony in the year I lived here, and it was a constant source of stress just using the stairs and my entryway. Other residents have shared their fear and distaste of the same situation with me. Next, as mentioned, the staffing level of the maintenance crew is inadequate. They are excellent at what they do, but they need more technicians dedicated to this aging property. Lastly, I cannot believe management pushes so hard to have apartments rented out as Air BnBs. It's a huge safety issue allowing transient tenancy. I am extremely uncomfortable with this decision. For all of these reasons, I'm moving out in July. I did not enjoy my time here. I heartily recommend that people NOT choose to live here.

Management is aware that multiple AC units in the community are in disrepair due to neglect. It has cost me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary electricity charges due to that negligence. They do not reply to my emails promptly and have not attempted to resolve the problem.

I moved here only 2-1/2 months ago and I love it already! I rented my apartment sight unseen as I lived in another city. I am very satisfied with the apartment and the location. Most importantly, the girls in the leasing office are wonderful! They make me feel at home when I come in to get coffee or other goodies which they always have for the residents. Also, the maintenance guys are great! Overall, so far, I am very happy I moved to Columns at Wakefield.

I love the abundance of trees. they are turning to the colors of fall. I love the sound of water and water fowls on the large pond. I love the convenience of a gym and a pool. I love that I can have my pet. It is a great place to get away from it all.

Other than the aging of the appliances of this community, I find it absolutely wonderful for single as well as families to occupy. It’s like living in your own space, dogs are very much acceptable and the convenience of walking and cleaning up behind them is commendable. It’s an overall community atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all, young, seniors, and the amenities are just as great, nice pond with its occupants,!water spray display, play area for children, etc. ozone other thing I found to be great use are the convenience of garage if garages for those who desire them.

This apartment complex is full of trash, and the smell of trash. People don't follow the guidelines for valet trash service and leave garbage out for days when there is no pickup. The administration only comes around if residents complain. I felt like the resident tattle tale, but the smell and filth were too much to ignore. I have pictures of the many times I had to report neighbors for trash violations. Also, if you want something like a window fixed, you will be disappointed. The windows are completely old and outdated. Moisture condenses to the point of puddles on the window sill and they will tell you this is normal, which it is not. Cold air flows through them in winter and I paid high energy bills. They ultimately charged me $28.17 for a double window blind, saying that I caused the damage. It was normal wear and tear, and it was a cheap blind, just look at the price. It was the principal, and no matter what I said, they insisted on getting their money. I said okay, but that I was going to tell everyone what a terrible time I had living in this place, and I was not the only one. The neighbors regularly gathered to talk about how the trash smelled and how nothing was being done about it.

It is a really nice community and has nice spaces like the lake, is very beautiful. Could improve the approach with the residents through email or phone calls concerns. Sometimes I feel they are just ignoring me and have to go to the lease office to get a response.

The Columns is a very quiet and picturesque community. I've only had to call for a maintenance issue once for this apartment and the response was very quick and the work was completed in a short time. The maintenance crew are friendly and professional.In addition, the management here has always been cordial and responsive to concerns. Thanks to all for making this a nice place to be!

During the time I lived there, at no time were 100% of the ammenities available and actually there was a time when 0% ammenities were available. There were numerous noise complaints that were not handled appropriately.

I have been a resident at the Columns for over six years and look to remain here for many more years to come as I pursue my medical degree. The community and staff have been great and are extremely fast when it comes to resolving issues regarding residents. I moved in February to this community with the promise that the fitness center and gate would be fixed by end of March. It is now August and only the fitness center recently came online. The amenities of this apartment are very poor in communication and there is no concessions by Greystar due to their lack in ability to service their tenants. I am deeply disappointed in Greystar's management and ability to service its property. This apartment complex is a pretty picture to hide the dumpster fire that it is.

in the time I have lived here my rent has always been paid on time. I have complied with my lease in every aspect. I have not received any of the amenities which were promised me in full and at times had no amenities. I have had several problem neighbors who were brought to the managements attention and not addressed. Garbage and items improperly stored on property are not addressed in timely manner and after numerous complaints remain unresolved.

I find the Columns at Wakefield very low key and relaxed. Most of the residents are friendly and courteous. The management staff is always available to answer questions, make suggestions and just there to say hello.
