The first thing you’ll notice about Jersey City’s waterfront is the scenery – from the Holland Tunnel to Liberty State Park, The Waterfront offers prime views of the Lower Manhattan skyline across the Hudson River. In recent years, The Waterfront has transformed into a trendy, affluent neighborhood. Popular among NYC commuters (thanks to the convenience of public transportation via road, rail, and ferry), The Waterfront has a robust corporate presence of its own, meaning that many residents are able to walk or bike to work.
The Powerhouse Arts District has attracted a vibrant community of creatives to The Waterfront, contributing to an eclectic vibe in the exclusive neighborhood; this unique blend of influences has resulted in a unique assortment of galleries, cafes, and bars on the south side of the neighborhood.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Columbus Collection
The WORST management team you could imagine. They do not care about the residents. They allow residents to let their animals roam freely throughout the hallways and in public spaces, including the outdoor common areas. You are not safe here.
Do not recommend at all, the rent payments will always be incorrect, management does not care for anyone, electric bills are from a shared meter on the floor so even when you are away for an entire month with everything off it will be $200+ a month. There are much better luxury apartments in the area.
Unless you are looking for a poorly managed, and understaffed building with lacking amenities you should steer clear and avoid any of the 50,70,90 Columbus buildings at any and all costs no matter how many free months they offer you. I guess we can start with the first and most important thing especially if you want to live on a high floor.....the elevators. This building never implemented any covid guidelines for better or worse and could care less about following CDC guidelines....better yet, there was an elevator failure which put two of the four elevators out of service for nearly 60 days....in addition to the 3rd being constantly locked for move ins and move outs. Hopefully your patient and don’t mind waiting 5-10 mins for your elevator and then cramming in with 8-15 people (nearly every weekend). I would strongly advise you to test how many elevators are actually working when you tour the building to just reconfirm. The gym is great, arguably the nicest in JC...however they will fail to tell you that the gym gets overly crowded even now at limited capacity as they sell memberships to anyone and everyone outside of the 1500 apartments in the complex that get a free membership and up to 3 additional memberships at a reduced cost of $500 annually..... The pool and the grills are quite nice to have in the summer but again they fail to tell you that 1500 apartments have access to this small pool and 8 grilling stations who will also invite their guests and family members....! Better make sure you book the grill 2 weeks in advance and keep your fingers crossed that the staff working the grills doesn’t just give your grill reservation away to another group that got a non working grill or too much sun! Let’s move on to building security, management, and administration. Existent sometimes but nonexistent at most. I encourage you to walk in without a food delivery at anytime of the day and walk right up to the elevators and help yourself to any of the 50 floors. I will bet you that you will not be stopped or questioned by anyone. Take a hard look around before you make a decision too fast. The views might be awesome and the amenities may come off great but don’t be fooled!
I love living here and I am renewing my lease for another 15 months this month. It's the best location in the city and the common areas are EXCELLENT. Their studios are bonafide one bedrooms and very comfortable. The design and layout of 90 including the lounges, roof top area and workspace is perfect and better than any other building I toured. The management does a nice job and the front desk staff (lisa, mark, danielle) are friendly and great at their job. I would like a little tighter security and screening in the lobby to prevent entry by delivery people but other than that I have no complaints and HIGHLY RECOMMEND 90 COLUMBUS
