Property Ratings at Colony at Dadeland
Don't waste your money. My place was infested with cockroaches the entire time I lived there. They're old and significantly overpriced. That said, the staff was really great. If I remember correctly there was a young woman named Jessica who worked in the leasing office who was super sweat and helpful. But the apartments are trash.
The management at this property have their act together. Everything from signing the lease agreement, to moving in was seamless. They are also extremely attentive to their residents' needs. The property itself as well as the common areas are always impeccable. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful, family oriented haven.
Looking back, I had a good time there. Some small things, and helped us. A very nice place.
I’ve been living her for a year and can’t wait to move. I’ve gotten stuck in their cheap elevators for over 30 min with my children. They towed our car more than 4 times because there is no parking anywhere before 7pm at night. I went To the office to mention it and he girls are rude and said we can’t do anything about the parking. This is because they get a cut from the tow truck company. The maintenance people come into your home with no notice and they have done it while I was sleeping, very scary. Not a safe neighborhood.
VERY QUITE APARTMENTS. SHORT WALK TO DADELAND MALL STARBUCKS . THEY ARE ALSO VERY SPACEOUS, I ONLY WISH THEY HAD WSHER DRYER HOOK UP INSIDE TH APARTMENT.HAS TWO POOLS VERY NICE GYM.
2 bedroom apartment shared by a family of five. AC broke down constantly but finally got fixed. Had cockroaches for a while, but they suddenly stopped appearing so I'm happy about that. Otherwise, it's very close to multiple locations (Publix, laundromat, etc) and close to the Palmetto and South Dixie Highway. Would not recommend to a friend, not unless many changes are made.
