Welcome to Manassas, a historic Virginia city 30 miles from Washington, D.C. This established community offers diverse housing options from downtown apartments to residential neighborhoods. Current rental trends show one-bedroom units averaging $1,873 monthly and two-bedroom homes at $2,168. The city features several parks and recreation areas, including Stonewall Park with its community pool and the Annaburg Historic Site, where restored grounds welcome visitors year-round. The city's railroad heritage is preserved through landmarks like the Liberia House, which served as headquarters for both Union and Confederate forces during the Civil War. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Colonial Village
I'm living here since July this year and my experience has been great. If you are new in town it will be convenient as it is close to some schools, stores and Old town. So it only takes some minutes to see the beauty of Manassas. Prices are affordable specially if you are sharing with another person. Renovated apartments are beautiful and all appliances are new.

Hi Resident, Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience at Colonial Village. We are so pleased to hear you found the parks to your liking. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
I have lived here a few months now and I appreciate that it's a no frills location charging ridiculous amounts for amenities nobody will ever use. No ridiculous fees. My unit is updated, nice and comfortable. Staff has been very communicative and helpful, even though a couple of times I've called them for stuff I honestly should have figured out myself, but they never treat me like a nuisance. I appreciate that the landscaping is well kept but not overly manicured. Very walkable to Old Town and the train station. I really like living here.

Hi User, thank you for posting your positive review. Our team is committed to providing high-quality customer service, and we’re thrilled to hear that we made a good impression on you. We hope to see you around soon!
Have had a roach infestation for over 4 months and mice. Water bill is billed in a way that they calculate the total in one building and divide by the number of residents. Administration has poor attitude when asked to fix issues and the maintenance guy can never finish a job properly. Wouldn’t lease again.
I really love the location and our apartment! The neighbors are nice and honestly I rarely hear them. The reason I give three stars is because the staff is rough. Sometimes they just like arent in the office at all on saturdays even though they have posted open hours. I’ve also had a visitor who was in the visitor spot towed. I never got a visitor tag to put in their car when I moved in and when I wanted to call to get one it was a Saturday... she was parked there for less than 24 hours. The maintenance staff comes pretty quickly but it took them about 4 visits to fix our only toilet in the apartment. We also have a german roach problem and it’s very frustrating. Overall wasn’t a terrible time living here but we aren’t resigning the lease lol. For the price there just isn’t enough amenities. It’s just an expensive apartment that doesn’t even have a washer dryer.

While we appreciate your positive feedback about our apartment homes and convenient location, we’re disappointed certain aspects of our community have hindered your experience here. If for some reason we’re not available at the office in the future, please give us a call and leave a message with your contact information. We’ll return your call as soon as we can. We understand how frustrating it can be to wait for maintenance repairs to be completed. Unfortunately, certain repairs require more time than others. If you are having issues with roaches, please submit a pest control request, and we will assist you as soon as possible. We invite you to contact our management office directly so that we may work with you to improve your experience. You’re also welcome to reach out to our Customer Success Team at CustomerSuccessTeam@vmimgmt.com. ~ Customer Success Team
Very poor service. I would never lease this apartment ever again. No star required . very poor maintenance.
When first driving up, the community looks so pretty. The property is a little old, but as soon as you enter the apartment, everything feels fresh. The staff was so great to work with and Alex and Kisha really made me feel important. They have this great move in program called updater that helps make your move in a lot easier. I am looking forward to staying here for years to come. -El
