Located 20 miles northeast of Charlotte, Concord combines historical charm with contemporary living. Current rental rates average $1,340 for a one-bedroom apartment. The city centers around Concord Mills mall and a downtown district featuring independent merchants, antique stores, and a seasonal farmers market. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound at Lake Fisher's 534-acre park, while motorsports enthusiasts appreciate the proximity to Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR team facilities.
Concord's story began in 1750 when German and Scots-Irish settlers named the area "Concord" after resolving their differences about the county seat's location. Today, the city continues to grow while preserving its historical character. Residents have access to healthcare at Atrium Health Cabarrus and higher education at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. The historic courthouse, now home to the Cabarrus Arts Council, anchors the local arts community.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
The amenities and leasing office are incredible. The apartments aren't really worth the money for the space and maintenance will say they are coming on a specific day and you clear your schedule and they never show. It is really more of a hassle to live here at this point.

Hello, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide.
Two words describe this community for my child and I...Welcome Home. The school district is GREAT!!! Both times that I made maintenance requests, they repaired it immediately. Pasha welcomed me with her voice over the phone. Once she gave me the your, I knew I wanted to stay. She has remained the same kind woman from the first time. Tracy and Amanda are knowledgeable and friendly. With the exception of the great staff, I have to point out the fire department is next door. This is a good and bad thing that I found out the hard way. Besides the noise, it's still a great place to live.

Hi, we're so glad that we were able to go above and beyond your expectations!
Car break ins are frequent. And you can hear your neighbors on all sides. The walls are super thin. And the office not responding to your request is the cherry on top.
I first moved into coddle creek in early 2021. My experience has been good. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. I love how the gym came equipped with everything I needed unlike other complexes. Maintenance responds pretty quick if you are in need for assistance. Overall I give coddle creek five stars.
Everyone is so professional and very knowledgeable about everything. I appreciate them very much and highly recommend Coddle Creek Apartments to everyone. Great people hands down!!!
Let me just start by saying this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex 6 days with no welcome letter or nothing they completely stopped responding to my emails after they promised me multiple times, they were sending over welcome letter nothing I am beyond disappointed wouldn't recommend them to none.
There’s plank flooring overhead and you hear everything! I’m surprised management did not install carpeting in the upper apartments. It’s supposed to be a smoke free community but it is not. Don’t expect to park near your apartment as those spots are usually taken by guests. Thats the bad, the good is, the apartments are pretty nice. Management has changed, literally. We received an email that they’ve sold to new owner. Gym is nice.

Where do I start, the luxury features are great. Try to get an apartment with a walk in shower, you won’t regret it.apartment is pricey but again it’s almost brand new. The pool has chairs and even a ping pong table. Also try to be on the top floor for the least noise. Some of the apartments only have 2 floors so try to get the second floor on them. The pool is decent, not so big. I never used the fitness rooms but they look good. Schools are just around the corner. 9/10. Lost 1 rating just because it was pricey but it is really nice.

Thank you so much for the five-star rating, Rohan! We greatly appreciate the kind words and positive feedback. We're thrilled to hear that you are happy with the beautiful amenities, luxury apartment features, and prime location we have to offer at Coddle Creek.
I have lived in apartments for 20 years. I have never had as horrible of an experience as I've had here. I unfortunately have a neighbor over me who has a very active, young dog that runs around alot; even during quiet hours. It is loud on the vinyl plank flooring and wakes me up. So I can never sleep or nap without protecting myself in some way (ie. wearing ear plugs) if I want to stay alseep. (Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put vinyl plank floors on the 2nd and 3rd floors....bad choice. In addition to the dog noise, I hear the neighbors walking hard/hard shoes on the floor, dragging furniture, bumping around. I don't think all neighbors are like that, but some people just live in a noisy way and don't think nor care about how their noise might be transferring into apartments around them.) As the apartment management can't do anything about the neighbor noise and dog noise, my only options are to move again (I just got here) or live with disruptive noise over my head. Both options are painful. A few years ago, I lived in an apartment for 3 years with a dog overhead (and NEVER heard noise from the neighbor nor noise from the dog running around or barking at night/in the middle of the night like I do here). It has been and is miserable living and I am paying alot for rent each month. If I were living under a "normal" neighbor or could do a 3rd floor, I think I would be happy living here. Looking forward to leaving this place. Moral to the story...If you can get a 3rd floor apartment here and are fine with doing stairs, that is the only way to ensure you don't have to endure noisy neighbors or dogs overhead.

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns, although we're sorry it has not been the positive experience we aim to provide to all our residents and guests, Marietta. We are sorry you are contending with this. While some noise is expected in apartment living, excessive noise is not. We appreciate your patience as we work through this, for we do want to make things right with you. Please contact us at 704-787-9400 or coddlecreek@firstcommunities.com when time allows. Thank you.
