Property Ratings at Cliffs at Barton Creek
An incredibly frustrating place to live. The management is a joke. The management staff is constantly either quitting or getting fired so any issue they always blame it on the staff before them. Don't take anything anyone tells you as true because they will be gone before you know it and the next person will tell you something different. Assume that you will need to follow up on any issue or request to management multiple times because they will likely forget or pretend something was being done when it really is not. Maintenance staff is questionable at best and does a lot of jerry-rigging. A great example of this is when I had an issue where the door wouldn't close properly. Their solution, after pretending there was not an obvious gap in the door, was to hammer the wooden door. As you would expect this did not fix the gap, but it did dent the door. I was shocked with how stupid that was.

Stayed there and was disappointed. Manager walked me into the apartment the first day and someone had broken in and had been showering in my apartment bathroom... just a prelude of many other issues. Overall, the place was just old and dirty... not a good experience for me. My opinion and experience.
This building is about average for the price. The finish outs are pretty nice but it is an older complex. I live on the first floor and bugs are an issue certain times of the year. In general not a bad place though. Lots of families and very friendly staff. They are very responsive when there is a problem. Very good location. Close to downtown and easy access to good restaurants and grocery stores. Complex includes pool, workout facility, dog park, and walking trail, and covered parking. I would recommend to a friend, but I would suggest not living on the first floor.
The Cliffs at Barton Creek is a great place to live. The staff and maintenance are very nice and they know your name. The apartments are updated and have an open flow concept that is easy to live in. It's a quiet gated complex that has a lot of families. You get to know your neighbors and keep an eye out for each other. You can't beat the price for the views and amenities. I've been here for 2.5 years and have loved every minute!
