Austell encompasses a relatively large part of Cobb County real estate just 17 miles west of Atlanta. You’ll find new residential developments comprised of affordable single-family homes and apartments in and around Sweetwater Creek and the locally owned businesses along U.S. Highway 78. There are three community parks in the center of Austell that add to the area’s park-like feel. Property Ratings at Chroma Park Apartments
The apartments are overpriced based on the run down condition of the units,breezeways,laundry facilities and lack of amenities. The Management staff here at the fields East West Commons are unprofessional to say the least and lack common people skills. The property manager is the worst and her assistant incompetent. The units are badly in need of renovation everything from doors,windows, cabinets,kitchen, bathrooms, carpet, and heating and air condition units. There are rodents in the air ducts between units that easily enter into the apartment units without warning. The current management company is ineffective and allows property manager "Mrs.Hood"and her assistant to short change residents on quality services. The management company is based in Texas and does noting to help remedy resident's issues or concerns. Throughout the property trash is scattered about , mailboxes are loosely secured, and crime is very high break-ins, shootings, and drugs. If for whatever reason you do decide to move here do a good walk-thru and check everything. Most likely the shady management here will either allow you the day before or the day of to do a walk-thru. The management here supposedly outsources 95% of the maintenance work so forget about timely repairs or repairs at all. The management here will give you every excuse why they are not able to fix something or why its taking to long. They blame everything on the vendors and will use the excuse that they've only managed this property since the beginning of the year.
Rat and roach infested.... trash everywhere, management are liars unprofessional and not helpful at all. Remodeled apartments are just thrown together cover up over old stuff. My kitchen cabinet had a big hole in it the day I moved in and they were all water damaged, dishwasher didn't work but was supposed to be brand new, and had a gnat infestation from the old water boiler that they ended up having to replace after numerous complaints and practically falling through the floor because it caused water damage in the floor. Mind you they only redid part of the floor so part of it is still caving in. Trash strewn all over the complex and took over a month to get my mailbox key. I can go on and on because trust there are plenty more problems but just do yourself a favor and don't move here. I promise you will regret it!!
Roach infested and some apts have mice. Maintenance don't come and fix nothing. It's not safe to go outside at dark so they hired security to drive the grounds at night. Apts need to be remodeled?. I've been here for 2 years and the people that was running it when I first moved here was the best the new ppl here now are not professional when it comes to handling tenants needs. I'm? moving soon as my lease is up.
I rate my apartments a five star because its a family type community. Its a safe place to be and everything is always done to ensure the safty of the residents and i would recommend these apartments to everyone
