It's beautiful and quiet. When sitting on my balcony I feel like im sitting in the mountains.

After 7 years of residency at Chestnut Ridge, there have been changes within ownership and management. There have been dynamic upgrades, colorful decor, and entertaining social events thanks to the property manager and staff. I appreciate the patience, communication, and dedication of the team. It takes the community of residents as well as the office team to make this place so comfortable and pleasing. I am thankful and enjoy coming back after a long day's work to a peaceful beautiful home.
Maint. Dir. Joe, Tech Nan, Mgr Deja, and Jayce provide timely and excellent work and service, are always courteous and professional. They ensure we live in a safe and peaceful environment at Chestnut Ridge Apts.I only have high praises for the mgmt and staff here.
They responded to the online work order faster than I expected.. The work was done pretty fast, and was done correct. And maintenance is always friendly.

Chestnut Ridge is a very nice place tolive. The best part is the maintenance person, Joe and his team. I haven't had too many issues with maintenance but when there is a problem Joe is on it almost immediately and professionally, and the problem is always resolved the first time. The office staff is also super friendly. The apartment buildings are old but maintained well for their age.

I had been excited to move here, because the layout of the apartment is cute. However, it was not clean, the balcony door was still broken and a month later it is still broken, the apartment smells strongly of mildew, and despite multiple attempts to discuss this with management, emails are not responded to, and this remains a problem. There also seems to be electrical problems. Would not recommend.

This place is the bees knees!!!! Nice staff and very accommodating. Maintenance is tip top and would recommend anyone to live or work here. Beautiful scenery too

Chestnut Ridge is a wonderful community to live in. Their apartments are clean and well taken care of. The maintenance is very thorough and kind, it's pet friendly, and I love the location. It's right off the highway and everything is only 15-30 minutes away. The community is nice, we have community gatherings, pool parties and fun. I would recommend living here to anyone!

Chestnut and the staff here have been some of the best apartment experiences we've had. We broke a lease with our last apartment because of management, and we were at a point where we thought anyone had to be better and Chestnut has exceeded our expectations. They actually care about the residents which I think is hard to find with many apartments.
The team that works at the apartment complex are super friendly and they all go above and beyond to make sure everything in my apartment is working great. I am so thankful I found such a good, clean, and peaceful place to live for my family and I.

Great Management Team, they really make you feel at home. Very professional and helpful staff, apartments are older but that what makes it feel more like a home. The price for what you get you cant bet it, being from Texas these rooms make you feel your still getting your moneys worth in space.

Maintenance is great here (hence two stars instead of just one), but the pros stop there. The local USPS office is very bad in this area, and while management could be proactive about this, they largely consider it to not be their concern when mail gets misdelivered and the wrong residents either collect it from their boxes and keep it, or it comes to their doors incorrectly and they sign for and keep it. Around the time we moved in, nearly a year ago, management assured us they'd ordered new USPS boxes with oversized lockers but as of April 13, 2021 there are no oversized lockers for mail at this complex, just letter-sized boxes. Additionally the buildings aren't letter-labeled on all sides, so Amazon, FedEx, and UPS deliveries also regularly get lost and misdelivered (and again, packages are kept by residents they weren't addressed to). Beyond that, you can't really keep a doormat around here, because the neighbors will swipe it. Also, cars are regularly broken into in the parking lots and car ports - a few months ago we received a notice that a whole car went missing. So, if you don't have a car, don't care about doormats, and never use the mail services this is a pretty good place to live. But if you have a car or need USPS, Amazon, UPS, or FedEx, you're pretty much doomed to a life of nonstop hassle if you try to live here.

Not a bad place to live, apartment size is good, apartments are a bit dated, maintenance crew is good, pet friendly to the point of ignoring late night barking keeping residents awake, parking is terrible and you will not receive any portion of your deposit back. Make sure to note any and all issues prior to moving into unit.

Chestnut Ridge is in a great location, affordable and spacious. The move in experience was easy and stress free.
I would definitely recommend this apartment complex simply because of the maintenance team! They always solve the problem and do so in less than 24 hours.
Management is fantastic and friendly! It is a quiet complex, not a lot of noise between tenants, people keep their balconies nice and clean. Fair prices for such a nice place to live! I've lived in quite a few apartments and this is by far the nicest, I love living here!

From the staff to the apartment homes themselves, Chestnut Ridge is a wonderful place to live!
- no roaches/bugs - trash is picked up regularly - decent area - plowed after snow - not really walkable to the light rail, but you can get parking there easy enough - walls are paper thin
So far, I love it here!
Dont move here. Nothing is fixed until someone complains. Everything is out of warranty: locks, doors, plumbing, windows. Lack of adequate parking.
I've only been here a week and a half. I should not be having any issues. They've already had to repair my garbage disposal and that fan thing in the bathroom. I am very, very disappointed.
The location of Chestnut Ridge is one of the perks of this community. You feel as though you are in the mountains and yet have the convenience of many of the amenities of the city right around the corner.
I've lived at Chestnut Ridge 4 years now and have always had great service from management and maintenance. It is also the quietest apartment I have ever lived in.
