Mature trees and sidewalks line the streets of Tonawanda, a riverside city bordering the Niagara River and situated around Ellicott Creek. Tonawanda is close to Niagara Falls and the Canadian border, less than 10 miles north of Downtown Buffalo. Parks stretch along the rivers, and boating is a popular pastime in Tonawanda.
