Tucked between Liberty Avenue and the Allegheny River, Pittsburgh’s Cultural District feels like downtown’s bright marquee, always lit and ready for a show. Historic theaters line the streets, their facades glowing at night while people stream in for concerts, touring Broadway productions, and symphony nights.
Between performances, you can wander past galleries, small parks, and public art pieces that break up the city blocks, with the river just a short walk away for a quieter view of the skyline. The area sits right in the heart of downtown, so offices, transit stops, and Market Square are all close enough to reach on foot.
Day-to-day life here revolves around what is happening on stage and on the sidewalks. On any given week, marquees at places like Heinz Hall, Benedum Center, and the O’Reilly Theater advertise everything from classical concerts to experimental plays, all grouped together by the City of Pittsburgh as key Cultural District venues.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Century Building
I toured their 1/1 and 2/2 as well as 2 of their sister properties, you can not tell their are renovated building and apartments because they look and feel as built form scratch. The buildings smelled nice, new, clean and so did the units!.everything is as recently new and modern and high quality amenities, appliances. The staff was great and very helpful and professional. The units are beautiful, refreshing, full of light and airy, they color scheme with go with any decor, kitchen has lost of counter space and the bathrooms are spacious bright and comfortable .I think they building is great, location it's great and ideal to get in out of Downtown Pittsburgh.
There are countless apartment buildings going up in this city, and it seems as though they are all racing to acquire tenants, paying no attention to quality or service. I lucked out when I decided on The Century Building. A beautifully renovated older building with high ceilings, huge windows, and modern interiors. It's a green building as well with a fantastic pet-friendly rooftop courtyard, gym, and community room. The rent is so reasonable for a city dwelling in the heart of the cultural district, I couldn't believe it! 12 floors and 60 units, 1 and 2 bedroom units available and multiple floor plans. And by the way, the floor plans are actually workable. You will see this is not always the case in other converted buildings. And let me give a well-deserved shout-out to Trek Development for their exceptional work in bringing buildings like this to life. They know how to treat their tenants as well. Phenomenal service and very friendly people at every turn, whether you are talking to the office staff or are in need of maintenance. A great crew all around and very responsive. I would recommend The Century Building to anyone looking in the city of Pittsburgh. And it is right off Ft. Duquesne Boulevard. Easy access to the Ft. Pitt tunnels, the North Hills or the North Shore. Definitely worth your attention.
Modern and well laid out apartments in the middle of the cultural district -- the best of the restaurant scene is outside your door. A roof-top patio and dog run with a spectacular view of the city is an elevator ride from your apartment. Responsive and efficient management is on site to assist your needs. My wife, pet Havanese pup & I have lived here since is opened in 2009 - that says it all!
