Fairywood is an up-and-coming neighborhood about five miles west of Downtown Pittsburgh. The northern and southern portions of the area are dominated by business parks and warehouses while the rest of the neighborhood contains residential property. Fairywood has a low cost of living and a variety of affordable mid-rise apartments available for rent.
