I’ve been here for a little over a year and all I can say is I LOVE IT!!! As far as my building go we have no problems over here at all! Maintenance always come and never any issues. We may experience power outages here and there but the complex will inform you sometimes. The gym equipment needs to be fixed or maybe new equipment. We need more dumpsters because only having 1 is a problem but valet service do come everyday to pickup the trash. It’s just only having 1 dumpster makes the complex look dirty.

I had one really bad experience but it does not define my entire experience. Nowhere is perfect, the kind staff makes up for the areas of opportunity. I would still recommend people at certain stages of life to move here.

To start off, the staff were great in the beginning when I asked about the property and renting. The place overall looked nice and the rooms were affordable. On the very first day of sleeping here, my car’s wheels and tires were stolen. When I first noticed it, I went straight to the front office to ask questions and to see they had surveillance. At first they seemed worried but no action was taken on their end. I asked for their help to see the cameras but they said they are only allowed to share with the police. I called made and report with the police and insurance. 2 and half hours later, I asked if they were able to locate or find anything but they did not help or bother to check at all. This is not professional as they left their gates open for anyone to come in, they can at-least try to help a new tenent that JUST signed.

This is one of the worst communities I have ever lived in. The rent is unreasonable and there is no sense of community here.

Amanda and Olga are always very friendly and easy to work with. They are a pleasure to talk to and are always very helpful in solving any issue that may arise. Jose in maintenance is awesome. He has gone above and beyond in helping me out with any needs I might have for the apt. The other guys are great as well. There are many positive things here at Carrington. We particularly enjoy our apartment home with the attached garage and small fenced back yard for our little dog.

Finally a community that cares and actually shows it! Angela made the process of applying so smooth. She was patient with me as I am a very tedious person. She answered all of my questions and concerns. Maintenance is exceptional! They respond quickly and get the job done even quicker. The maintenance guy needed some tools to complete the job and said he would be back around 2:30 and he was back at 2! I work from home and he was sure to be as quiet as possible. He even interacted with my dog! He also changed out the shower head for me and put my own on there because I couldn’t get theirs off. My son loves the playground on the property and it’s ALWAYS clean! Keep up the great work!

I'm so glad I went with Carrington at Barker Cypress when choosing my future apartment! Not only is it a beautiful property, but maintenence is out of this world! I put in a request and sometimes they're here fixing it within a couple hours! The longest I waited was 8-12 hours! EXCELLENT JOB!!!

A quiet tucked away community in the middle of cypress. Newly renovated and comfortable living. I feel safe and have easy access to local needs like grocery, restaurants and shopping. The community feels active with many families and people out walking their dogs and the grounds are generally well maintained.

Currently i can not recommend this complex as many issues are going unaddressed and ignored.
I am pleased about this living experience at Carrington at Barker Cypress apartment home!!! So clean and quiet, lot’s of trees and shades! Very roomy! Love the environment, especially the garage next to our room. Like living at HOUSE HOME!!! Love it!

I am a resident here. I see everyday all kind of roaches inside and outside the unit. i regret moving in to this apartment. Feel like i moved into the bugs’ habitat. Big problem here is the office os never responsive to this issue. They look not care of this. If you are abhor bugs and roaches, do not even think about this place for moving in.

High crime, front office management not helpful, trash compactor by front gate always has a ton of trash in front of it. My experience has been horrible since day 1. Did not have an amenity I paid for for 3 years. When I turned in the work order to get it taken care of the management would “forget” or it would be someone else’s fault. They don’t check back in to make sure stuff was done correctly. I absolutely do not recommend living here.

I feel like I am living in "The Pit" featured on "The Wire." Great show, but not the experience I expected when I signed my lease. I am embarrassed to bring friends over my house. Last group of friends I had over are still talking about the police tape surrounding two apartments in my building!! Staff is OK, they were helpful with bed bug infestation when I moved in. Good location. A few neighbors have complained about roaches and mice, but I have not had that experience. I would strongly recommend potential renters to consider other locations or prepare for the inevitable break ins (house and car). Staff did offer to upgrade my apartment (attached garage) after my first 2 car break ins, but were going to require me to extend my lease at same rate. I declined and will gladly find a new apartment in 117 days. Isaiah 32:18

Terrible place to live I have lived here for 2 years and have been very disappointed. Trash is a big problem because there is a 25 monthly fee but inconsistent services. The grounds are often dirty and maintainance loses your keys which has happen twice. I called the cops due to harassment out side my bedroom window where kids play and the front desk acted as if they were unaware. At least twice I was ask two pay more money because they incorrectly calculated water charges or trash charges costing me 200 + each time. The stafff will not return calls or act promptly in matters. You Don’t WANT TO LIVE HERE.
I'm not too sure about it. I called for two days with no one answering the phone. and when i went in to the office Olga seemed like she wasn't having a good day maybe? usually greeting someone with a smile can go a long way. but she just looked at us and asked if we needed help. Grace has been very nice. she is always having a positive attitude. She's nice.

its a good place to live, I lived here for 4 years, I just need to move out for our newly built house, but my experience was good, its a quiet place to live, staffs are friendly and all my maintenance issues was fixed on time. Thank you guys for giving me a home for a long time.
Please do not even consider these apartments. I've been living here for 10 months now and it has been the worst. Like I'd rather live with my In-Laws worst. Management sucks and is rude. They aren't fast to fix any problems. Plumbing has been the biggest. Like when we first moved in the second night a leak flooded our master bedroom to the problem now that there isn't any water pressure. The list goes on and on. I would never refer someone to live here even if they offered the referral bonus of getting money off my rent. I can't wait to get out. I feel bad when I see people move in. Please don't move here. They're are many better around the area.
I've been at the above complex for about a year and a half now, and I've had nothing but excellent treatment from the office staff & field staff (maintenance). The workers are very pro-active which impressive because you don't find that often. I would highly recommend that whomever is reading this review to consider this complex to be their next place they call home.
I'm sorry to say, I can't recommend this as a good place to live. They made the property look nice, but they don't take care of things not seen at first site. The washers and dryers almost never work, the air-conditioner has been broken for more than a year and the laundry room is rarely clean. Recently, they downsized the dumpsters and trash is everywhere. The management prefer to spend money on new workout equipment and upgrade the appearance outside. The apartment I was to move into was not made ready for move in. Nothing in the apartment had been cleaned. The apartment smelled like wet dogs, the carpet was filthy and had dog fecies and mud on it. The refrigerator and cabinets were nasty. There were roaches crawling on the ceiling and in the cabinets. Needless to say, I do not recommend Stirling Court Apartments a good place to live for anyone.
