Recently relocated to Maryland from Missouri. Within first day here found the Canterbury Wes site. The ability to apply online and receive a pre-approval really speeds the process up. We applied, came in to the office and signed a lease all within one day. The apartments are hands down amazingly kept and clean. The office staff are the EXTREMELY welcoming and friendly. They definitely take the stress out of the whole process. We were provided free refreshments and snacks throughout the process as well. The gym and pool are simply amazing. Gloryann Was our leasing agent and let me just tell you, she may not know you, but you will instantly feel welcome and wanted at Canterbury. I can’t give this place enough stars.

Worse place to live....its always noisy and when you complain to the leasing office they do nothing about it. Its as if they rather us deal with it or break our lease and go. They don't realize that if they dont handle the issue, its going to be a constant problem for others that move in after us. Question is, how would the leasing office feel if they were to go home and have to deal with inconsiderate and noisy neighbors???? You should want the best for your tenants as you would want for yourself.

I've lived here a few months so far, and I must say I have really enjoyed my time so far. Of all the places I have lived, this management staff has been the most responsive and attentive. They get back to you when they say they will, and follow through on issues in a good amount of time. People aren't joking about the towing, but, to be fair, they do have signs posted everywhere letting you know where you can and cannot park. I haven't had a problem myself because I took the signs serious from day 1 and I make sure I'm in my assigned space. I make sure my guests know exactly where to park as well.

I have been there for two years and I have glad to move out finally. I would say not the bad place to live, but you will be frustrated. Parking spots are very limited and very hard to find at night. The rent fee increased from year to year. And you have to pay two months fee if you break lease. Maintenance is usually fast though. The effect of insulation is poor and my neighbors are very noisy from early in the morning till late at night and the apartment office did not do anything even though I complain many time. I will not recommend this apartment if you have other choice.
I snagged my 1BD/1BA because it's close to work. I then found out it's close to everything else I could need, all within walking distance. The maintenance crew is so helpful and quick, and the office staff is generally fine, though I've had a few issues. They were easily solved and we're remedied pretty quickly, which I greatly appreciate. My neighbors are kind and considerate, and cover a wide range of ages and lifestyles. If you have young kids, this is perfect: pool, playground and tons of other kids to make friends with! If you decide to move here, and can afford it, do yourself a favor and buy a reserved parking space. Otherwise, you'll be battling those that purchase a parking pass and those that abuse the visitor's pass (which is given away freely, with no monitoring, by the office). The management is aware of the issue of folks abusing the visitor's passes, but can't (or won't) do anything about it. There are MANY apartments in this property, so I can only speak for my small corner of the neighborhood, but all in all I'm happy and will be sticking around.
I've been living here for about a month and a half and I truly enjoy the significant difference from my previous home. There are so many restaurants, outdoor excitement and a great middle school down the street. I'm glad to call this home
Being in Canterbury apartments is really refreshing and relaxing. A neighborhood filled with quiet and hard working friendly neighbors who believe in quality and peaceful state of mind. Being at Canterbury apartments is like being on vacation. The response on assistance from the properties management and maintenance is spectacular. No other place to be. Everything you need in one area, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. From food to entertainment, the best quality of everything.
Our apartment is wonderful. My boyfriend and I moved in about 4 months ago. The bedroom is huge with separate closets which is a major plus.
Not the worst place to live, but you will be frustrated. Parking spots are very limited and very hard to find at night. As a resident, I have had my car towed twice in my neighborhood for parking in a visitor spot (there were no spots). Maintenance is usually fast though, neighbors are nice, and the neighborhood is clean for the most part.
