I have had an incredible experience at candour house. The management staff are all extremely friendly, yet professional, and all of the amenities have been beautiful kept up with and accessible for the years I’ve been here. I also have never heard my neighbors, the insulation is incredible, and all of my appliances have never had a single issue.

I lived in many communities in mind lifetime in Candor house is one of the best fits in Durham. Within 8 minutes of the airport you have every restaurant, and a Walmart is within a couple miles. The location is great, office personnel are second to none some of the most personable people I've met. I wouldn't move if you paid me. Great community great team of folks.

I had a great experience living at Candour House. The apartments are well-constructed, modern, visually appealing (hello, high ceilings), and relatively quiet. It's nice to have a business center with a printer onsite as well. The management team is friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the maintenance team is top notch. Finding a parking space in the parking lot is a breeze, and the occasional food truck offerings add a nice element to the resident experience. Definitely one of the best apartment communities in the Raleigh-Durham area!

Everyone at Candour House is very nice and I had no problems with executing my lease or moving in. Erin was extremey helpful and LaTasha is amazing! Everyone was very communicative and I am appreciative and happy to be a part of the Candour House community! The property is beautiful and the apartments are very spacious and modern. The staff here at Candour House really go out of there way to make you feel at home. They create activities at the club house so you can get out of your appt and meet your neighbors. Candour House Leasing office makes it a point to ease your pain of cooking everyday so they contact vendors to come on the site and cook good meals for you . I enjoy it here at Candour House and hope more people do too.

I am about halfway through my lease at Candour House. The apartments are gorgeous, and the facilities are all very well maintained. The amenities are great including the pool and clubhouse area. However, like a lot of apartment buildings these days it's clear this complex was built not well built. Electrical issues, uneven floors, cabinets not lining up, etc. All things that at this price point should not be an issue. I have had to put in almost a dozen maintenance tickets since I've been here. Some of the issues I reported on move in (almost 6 months ago) are still not fixed and I have no estimate for when that might happen. The maintenance team is great for common issues but when things need escalation it's tough to get any progress or even updates. Additionally, if you are at all noise sensitive this is not the complex for you. The first Saturday of every month there is a car show next door so expect loud car noises from 7am-1pm. The proximity to 40 and the airport contribute to the noise but the worst is the trucks that park at the hotel next door and leave their engines running all night (this may be less of an issue if you are not on the side facing the road).

I love my unit!!!From touring to putting in an application to receiving my keys and moving in my unit Candour Staff made the process so effortless, that it truly felt like it was meant for me to move here! The staff is so wonderful!! They are very friendly and knowledgeable about the property. I ended up moving my move-in date up, by almost a month and they were more than accommodating. LaTasha and Yeethiopia are amazing!! I love the sense of community in the apartment complex, all of my neighbors are very friendly and personable. I love the community events that are held onsite so that neighbors can get to know each other, they are truly a good time!! I really love being able to call this place home!!

The Candour House is amazing! The leasing staff are super helpful, reliable and friendly! The area is beautiful. The building is quiet. I love every single amenity plus more! All of the neighbors are kind and respectful. The secureness of the buildings is my favorite part. It is easy access for the residents but not to the public which I love.

I would give this complex 0/5 Stars if I could: Absolutely do not recommend. Candour House at first impression is a beautiful modern apartment, but has overall been an awful experience that I would not recommend to anymore. We were the first ones to live in our unit and had issues from the start. As others have mentioned the buildings were built in a rush during covid and is awfully constructed. On top of that we have had multiple issues with the leasing office. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

The Candour House has been a great experience so far. The leasing team is supper responsive, nice and provides great information. The community at Candour is truly inclusive and they are constantly trying to improve work processes, host community events, and ensure that all residents are taken care of.

Clean modern apartments in a perfect location. The amenities are what sold me. Only con, tenants don’t clean up after their pets. Nearly everyday I wake up to a new pile of poo in the grass immediately outside of my patio

We are working very hard to find the offenders that are not picking up after their pets and have our service team walking the grounds daily to assist with clean up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Candour is very shiny and bright on the outside, but it is all a façade. The buildings are poorly and haphazardly constructed. One of the lights in my apartment wasn't even wired when I moved in. Like, the actual light could not be turned on. An electrician came to randomly slap a switch on the wall with little care and had to wire it up. Management has been informed multiple times about the lack of visitor parking, dangerous dogs in the complex, etc. and NOTHING is ever done. They do not care, they just want everyone to shut up and give them money.

Candor house is a nice community. The atmosphere and amenities are very nice I just wish that I was able to use them the first five months that I was here. I would have given candor house five stars but I cannot do that because of the management here as they are the face of the community! A little bit more professionalism would be great!

No, I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you're interested in poor construction and quality of the apartment, living with bugs/pests, and a neglectful leasing office, then this is the place for you.

Terrible community with poor construction and even worse management. If you are looking for a safe environment look elsewhere. There are multiple AirBnbs being ran out of what is supposed to be a secure property and maintenance will enter your home as they see fit. When you try to express your concerns you are mocked by office staff and Regional Director refuses to return phone calls.

ALL the staff are prompt if there are issues and concerns. Everyone is extremely pleasant. They make certain that the community is kept clean and safe. The entire community is beautiful. I had a situation in which I had to relocate quickly. Candour House made that process easy and even enjoyable. I'm absolutely thrilled with my apartment, the complex is incredibly dog-friendly, and my neighbors are awesome. This has quickly become my favorite place I've ever lived. (And I've lived a lot of places!)

Candour House is gorgeous and the staff are ALL amazing. Maintenance is prompt and management will definitely make sure your issues are resolved immediately. As with any community, some of the people arent as clean as others but overall, it a wonderful place to call home.
