With a diverse population and a mix of residential and commercial areas, as well as a large golf course and municipal airport, Greater Salinas supports numerous lifestyles. Set around the small Californian city of Salinas, with rural agricultural areas stretching east and south from the airport, the neighborhood combines urban grit with a small-town feel.
As with many areas of Salinas, the agricultural business plays a major role as an employer in the area. Downtown Salinas lies at the heart of the region, and just five miles from the outer reaches of the area. Within Greater Salinas you’ll find the municipal airport, and a collection of shops, restaurants, neighborhoods, and more.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Not a good place to live. Bad neighbors, loud music and cockroaches everywhere. This is not a safe place to live, the pest control is always there but yet there are still cockroaches because they don’t actually solve the problems. The neighbors are bad, they let some of the worst type of people live here, like drug dealers, drug addicts and convicts. The neighbors fight and yell, play very loud music all day and night. People play loud music in their cars and outside their backyards. They have dogs that always bark all day and night. There are always homeless people going through the garbage and drug addicts outside. This is not safe place to live. It is a nightmare and we are moving soon and will give this place a negative review because we had a very negative experience living here for a few years.

Don’t rent here you can’t communicate with landlord. The first 3 days when I move the heater bursted into flames. The maintaince man told me it was his fault The balcony had a lose plank. The windows had no screen it took so long for them to give us a working fridge. So many things bad experience

My apartment floods whenever it rains. Luckily it doesn't rain often, but this has caused me to need dehumidifiers and fans running constantly to prevent mold from festering in my apartment. The maintenance people do not complete requests, they simply mark them as complete and ignore you. There is no leasing office that you can visit or phone line you can call, you have to leverage a text line that will likely ignore most of your messages, and act bothered when they do respond as if the issues with water leaking through your walls is somehow your fault. The units are INFESTED with roaches. I rented the unit and left it empty for a month. When I returned, there were 15 dead roaches in my empty apartment. Now that I stay here, I see them crawling around daily. I have set out traps, placed boric acid and diatomaceous earth down, and keep all of my food in the fridge. When pest control came around to treat, they determined my unit did not need any additional treatment...

The management needs to do something about the noise level in this complex. It’s absolutely horrible. Never no peace here, loud music always playing, they have a bbq next to my apartment and every weekend loud music and strong smoke comes into my house. PUT UP SIGNS AND GIVE NOTICE TO ALL TENANTS REMINDER THAT NOISE LEVELS SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATE. Many of us tenants have sent complaints on loud music always playing in apartments. Horrible place to live if you want peace and quiet. Can’t wait to move

I’ve lived here 2yrs and have been comfortable. There’s lots of changes and remodeling happening which is good cause the property needed it, but the staff has always been friendly and helpful.
I have been living in the same apartment for the past 15 years, This apartment was my first place that we got when we got married and my kids grew up here to.
So far so good. The complex is pretty clean and the staff here is very nice.
