Move-in was smooth and very efficient! Apartment is incredible minus only a few things. The road noise from Six Forks is much more than anticipated which is a bit of an annoyance at the moment. There is more things broken/not working than preferred.

I am going to miss living here due to the saltwater pool, package room, gym, the people working in the office being great. The only thing is my bedroom gets the coldest in the winter where I to blankets at the baseboards and windows coverings. But everything else has been okay.

Its getting more expensive to live here and options while living here (customer choice) are getting worse. The gym is nothing to rave about, often dirty and the equipment needs an upgrade. The rent is high and gets higher every year yet the apartments get older and older, little to no upgrades. This is not a horrible place to live, there are a lot of nice things about it, however I feel like it is in managed decline.

So far things have been good, however, before move in there were definitely some issues that had occurred with the complex that I didn’t feel as though they handled well. Since moving in, I don't necessarily enjoy hearing my upstairs neighbor at all hours of the night but that’s what comes with an apartment. Overall, I love the apartment complex and the amenities, and everyone I’ve met so far has been very nice and welcoming.
Mel is amazing she made sure I was good living in and took care of all my questions and concerns! She’s great! The atmosphere is amazing and everyone’s so nice!

My first week was a good one. I like the space. It's not too loud and I like being hidden away in the corner. I like the privacy. I finished unpacking and have everything set up.

I have lived in this complex for 2 years now and just re-signed my lease. The complex itself is well maintained (nice landscaping and clean), the staff is pleasant, the amenities are great, and neighbors are friendly. I am very happy with the price of my rent considering the square footage of my unit and the amenities included. I do not have an upgraded unit, but it feels cozy inside and I have barely had any maintenance issues. Any maintenance requests I've experienced have been minor and quickly handled. My only compliant is that the complex could use more pet-waste trash bins. There are already 3 in the complex, but 1-2 more would be helpful.

Unique and spacious apartments. The staff is friendly and maintenance is always quick to respond. They are also pet friendly. I haven’t been to the pool, but I enjoy using their bikes to explore the area, as well as North Hills.

Decent space for what we pay but nothing to write home about - bummed about the advertised “open all year” pool being closed (especially with the weather warming up)

I've lived at Cambridge for over 10 years and I've mostly enjoyed it. Rent is a little high considering I'm not in an updated unit but overall I don't have any complains.
Was a resident here for two years. Though the Property manager Ginger was always kind to me I would not recommend this property for various reasons but the most important two reasons being the severe Gnat problem in residence & issues/unhappy with the way certain things were handled by certain leasing staff such as the assistant manager. I moved to the property in the winter of 2018 & it was not until summer of 2019 that I realized there was a disgustingly severe issue with gnats because they were not present during the cold months. My entire apartment was infested with them two summers in a row. My unit was near the trash compactor. The gnats showed up mid May 2019 & I have an extensive email chain between myself & the property manager of constantly being aggravated & bombarded with them in my unit. This email chain went on all summer until late September sometime when it finally began to cool down. It got so bad to the point where I even had to involve corporate because I felt like they were not taking my claims seriously & none of the remedies were working. Both summers it affected the quality of my life. I eliminated cooking & buying certain food items for fear of attracting more gnats & the summer was only beginning at the time when I began this. It is causing me severe anxiety & stress & I even temporarily made living arrangements elsewhere until treatments were completed & the gnats could somewhat settle down because that’s how bad they were. I even asked Ginger would she consider a prorated credit on my rent seeing that I had sought temporary living arrangements several times during summer until it was resolved, which it never was. But, she ignored that request & did not even address it. Other factors: Noise level from domestic disputes Horrible attitude & mediocre performance from maintenance staff Constant water shut off My water heater went out several times & had to take cold showers before work Holding my rent check for extended time while they were gone on holiday vacation Left my back doors unlocked on too many occasions to count after maintenance requests Dishwasher was constantly burning & smelling of smoke & not cleaning my dishes because water was not coming out Maintenance left messes in my tub when they came to treat the gnats— I sent pictures as proof Package was stolen from my doorstep

Cambridge Apts is Raleigh used to be a nice quiet place to live. I've been here for a long time. In the last few years things have changed a lot. We stay under construction, they alway talk about a few improvements however the noise and parking problems are ongoing. Yes they even do it on weekends. Never let them convince you that it's temporary. Right now the pool is closed, the community center, and outside access is limited by fences and you have to walk in the road, no sidewalk. Maintenance is hit and miss. The newest management consolidated personnel which means we share with other properties now. It's disconcerting to trust unknown people in your home. Everything that can be done to improve the outside appearance of these old buildings is being done. Not much attention to the basics Air Conditioning, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems are all old but we have new paint and new shrubbery for the prospects to see. Lipstick on a pig.
I lived in Cambridge apartments for 7 years and I loved it. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the apartment and the staff at Cambridge and would happily recommend Cambridge apartments to anyone. I rented a one bedroom, with a loft (which I used as my home office). I was up on the third floor, and with the trees and landscaping, it was beautiful. Diana and her staff at Cambridge truly made you feel at home. They were friends and went out of their way to put on activities and events for the residents. Often times staying after hours to make sure the residents would enjoy themselves. The maintenance guys, especially David, always went above and beyond. I truly loved my time and experience at Cambridge apartments and if it were not for a new job, out of state, I would be very happy still living there.
