Irvine Business Complex, or IBC, combines several residential, mixed use, and commercial zones for the ultimate live-work-play neighborhood. IBC begins on the west side of Downtown Irvine and extends to the Costa Mesa Freeway. The John Wayne Airport is located on the southwest side of the neighborhood. This newer neighborhood features modern architecture, palm trees, and wide sidewalks that lead past office buildings filled with high-tech companies, luxury hotels, and high-end restaurants.

The units are very clean and spacious, overall quiet community. Packages make it to front door no problem! Really convenient parking spaces, ( mines right by my front door. ) Everyone in the leasing office is really nice & helpful.
The team at calypso apartments are amazing. They are courteous and attentive to resident needs. Tim the community manager is great! Always patient answering the many questions I have. The apartments are clean and orderly. Definitely a lot of good value received from moving in recently.

Great apartment size and layout. However, some fixtures are pretty old and may not function well, such as windows.

DO NOT RENT HERE. Irvine company may be a nightmare to deal with but at least they have their buildings up to a certain standard, the Irvine standard if you may, don’t expect that here at calypso. It’s sad to see it go from luxury apartments and lofts back in 2009-2014 to what it is now, not looking great. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

Calypso is good but people who live here leave a lot of trash around and party late into the night past quiet hours in the pool/jacuzzi

A great place to live with convenient access to both 405 and 5 freeway. Also lots of close bike trails and grocery store options.

The most pathetic apartment complex I have ever lived. Non cooperative staff specially the maintenance staff. You will have to wait for months to see her highness Manager, I can't access the clubhouse inspite of having access because keyfob will not open it. I moved in an apartment with one and a half year old used carpet and once I moved out of that apartment they charged me for the carpet replacement. There was nothing wrong with the carpet they never involved me in move out walk through. Never shared the pictures of the damaged carpet (as it was in good condition) and after 3 month on insisting they mailed me few pictures of underlay as a proof. They don't facilitate the tenants rather they are after their money. I would strongly recommend not to move here.

I reached out to see an apartment and someone got back to me right away. They quoted me a price for the apt and I set up a time to go on a self-guided tour. However when they sent me the codes to get in they sent it for the wrong apartment. Instead of the floor plan I asked for they set me up to view the most expensive floor plan. I tried to contact the to get set up for the correct apt. Nobody ever answers the phones. The automated system is on an endless loop that never gets you a person to talk to. I have been emailing them ever since and have not heard a word back from them. I was interested in renting with the but there is zero communication. I have tried contacting them multiple different ways and always nothing. I can only imagine what it's like as a tenant when your trying to get maintenance. I give them a one star based on their lack of communication.

Calypso apartments is by far the best place I have lived. It’s nice and quiet for the most part but the staff.. the people that work here make it a home. I never worry about anything. I know Tathiana and Sergio have it covered. I also love how safe it is and usually spotless. I am so happy living here: I love the layout.. the people.. the view..the parking! However there could be more guest spaces but I don’t have many over to visit but when I have… it’s an issue.. but that would be the only only thing!! Otherwise perfection!

Lived here before and loved it. It's still nicely maintained in the interior apartments and grounds, but wish it had more amenities such as a dog park like newer communities. The pool is great and also that parking is included in your rent.

The apartment itself was nice enough, I lived there for almost two years. Maintenance was good on the units themselves, but many of the amenities were down for extended periods of time. For instance, the Spa was down for 6 months, when that was one of the major selling points for me. Unfortunately the management got less and less competent while I was there, and has culminated in them not replying to reply to my inquiries about my security deposit (1 month's rent, so a large amount) that I still have not received after several months.

As per our email communication, accounting entered the address incorrectly and missed the apt. number. Moved to these apartments a little over a year ago, and I must say it was the best decision! Such a quiet and clean community. The community staff are amazing. They treat you like family and go above and beyond to help you. I am very pleased for everything about this community. I have recently signed my lease for a second year. I've loved being a part of this community since Spring of 2019. This apartment community has such a serene, peaceful vibe and the neighbors have been nothing but respectful and polite. The floor plan provides plenty of space in each bedroom and restrooms, as well as our comfortable living room.

Good location, walkable neighborhood, close to the park and marketplace with a lot of dining options. The apartments are spacious and in excellent condition. The community is operated by friendly and responsive staff. Nice amenities, assigned parking spots. Great experience.

We have been living here for 5 years now. Love the location and the condition of Calypso. The maintenance has excellent service and the property is kept clean on a daily basis. The recent assigned parking enforcement was the best thing happened in December 2020! Keep up the good work and lets get rid of some of residents who take full advantage of our new parking policy.

I love living at Calypso. The apartments are spacious, there is always parking, the maintenance team is friendly, and the noise level is minimal. I highly recommend!

Calypso has been such a peaceful community to be a part of. It seems this place is in a special little corner of the world, unbothered by the typical traffic and bustling that tends to plague apartment builings close to major streets such as this one. Everyone is very friendly and the complex is always kept very clean.

Love living here at Calypso since 2016 mostly the location to many restaurants and grocery stores around. Not to mention is close to the freeways and the airport. The stainless steel appliances plus the premium floors added a modern feel to luxury living.

Calypso Apartments and Lofts is a beautiful apartment complex located in a great community. They offer great amenities, friendly maintenance staff, spacious floor plans, and ample apartment features. On top of that, parking is never an issue. I would highly recommend. Best apartment complex I've lived in.

Love living here. Office staff is nice and genuinely seem to care. Same with maintenance team :) always feel safe and happy here
The apartment complex is always kept clean, and the nrighbors themselves tend to be peaceful but friendly. It's located in a great area close to a number of shopping centers and parks. Parking is also rarely an issue.
