I'm a new tenant here at Cadance and I must say "Wow", what a breath of fresh air for downtown living. I absolutely love the floor plan of my studio apartment, it's not your standard open studio it has a much more homey feeling to it. The Cadence staff is a pleasure to work with, my move was hassle free. The convenience of my everyday needs (shopping, food, public transportation, etc) is such delight to have within a 5 to 10 min walk. I can’t forget to mention the amazing views from the rooftop lounge.

I have enjoyed living here. Cadence is a great location, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is great to be walking distance from so many places. The units are laid out nicely. Parking isn’t too bad if you don’t have a garage spot. For the most part it is pretty quiet unless people have really loud music playing with bass. It has been an enjoyable first apartment ??

I'll start off with the things I enjoy the most about Cadence. I appreciate how quickly leasing agents/building managers respond to messages (even after you've signed the lease, some apartments stop caring once you sign a lease) I thoroughly enjoy my interactions with maintenance/cleaning staff. I love all of the amenities (especially the medicine cabinet with LED lighting, honestly impossible to find a medicine cabinet in a newer building lol) The thing that concern me the most is the level of security of this building. There is no security. Literally have people that have been able to sneak there way into the building (whether its tenants unknowingly letting people in or whatever) and I literally bumped into someone in the middle of them robbing another unit on my floor (didn't know at the time but they gave me creepy feelings) and people have had their bike stolen, packages stolen. The call box is currently broken (not the first time) and the key fobs aren't working. Not sure how this is gonna work out the next few days. And the frequency of very loud fire alarms going off (4 times now since being here for just under a year). I understand some things are out of managements control but with the cost of rent you can't tell me that there's no budget to hire security or make this building more secure. I was on the fence about renewing my lease and each day that passes it is more clear what I need to do.

Cadence is a great place to live. The community is welcoming and a great place for pets. The leasing staff and management are considerate, reliable and friendly. The apartments are beautiful with modern finishes and the amenities are amazing. I feel very safe here as well.

Had my bike STOLEN out of a "secure" key fob entry bike room at cadence. Didn’t think I would have an issue with leaving my bike in a locked room. I locked my bike to the provided bike racks that are mounted on the concrete walls. The person(s) who broke into the room cut the bike mount right off the wall. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I talked with a on site apartment manager and they said that they have had multiple events of bike theft - The security at cadence is a joke that I am not laughing at, because it is a problem. With rent as high as it is - you would expect a better quality of home safety and asset protection from cadence. better locks better doors better cameras... yet they're being cheap. Cadence is an overpriced prime example of an all smoke and mirrors cheap apartment complex. (also if you love smoke alarms going off at random hours this place is for you) Anyway, I'm leaving one star in hopes this review catches a few eyes and no one else is taken advantage of. Keep your bikes in your apartment. Also, the mailroom gets broken into...which leads me to think is anything secure in here? I would have appreciated more from cadence than just the incredibly lame apology. I was lead to believe that my assets would be safe here and that was not the case.

I was initially impressed by the amenities, floor plan, etc. Visually, I think the apartment complex is well designed. It's definitely larger than it looks once you're inside. The gym looks nice but I've not had a chance to use it yet as the open hours are during my work hours and there are understandably covid restrictions at the moment. It does feel like a secure building. You need use your key fob in order to get in the building, get in the mail room, and use the elevator. That being said there are a lot houseless folks in the area, which is not the fault of Cadence, but it's just disheartening to see used needles in the area as you're walking your dog. Just be mindful of that. Otherwise, all of the staff members I've encounteredfrom leasing agents to maintenance, have been nothing short of pleasant. They've made my experience here even better.

I find this apartment awesome. The ease of the application process. Because of Kaitlyn I made a quick decision. She is an awesome and an asset. Clean complex. I suggest a computer room would be awesome.

Very clean apartments and friendly staff! They are very quiet and I do not hear a lot of traffic or other tenants. The gym is a little small and due to covid precautions is not open after certain times. Parking gets a little busy at times but there is a parking garage option. Overall, I am very happy living here!

Kaitlyn and Majesta made the leasing/move in process easy and efficient which was much appreciated given the pandemic, which has made most things more difficult. I am in love with the studio layout, the cleanliness of the complex, and the new construction keeps everything super quiet! Looking forward to many months to come :)

The apartment layout is great but gym/rooftop/lounge amenities are not available and communication with management has been mediocre.
I've lived in tons of bungalows, high rises, and new buildings in Portland over the years, and when it was time to fine a new apartment in 2019 I spent time looking at many places. Cadence had everything I was looking for at that time: inner North/Northeast location, large and open floor plan, amazing view of the city, large utility room. I'm happy to say that I have enjoyed living here as much as I hoped and am happy to continue my stay.
I was new to the neighborhood. I love the location of Cadence it's walkable to many different shops and restaurants. They are extremely dog friendly. The amenties and grounds are wonderful. Management and staff are always friendly, available and willing to help. The building is always clean and I have had zero complaints in the time I have lived there.
Very professional. Office gets back to residents in a timely manner.
The location of the building cant be compared to anything else! The maintenance staff are quick to fix any problems, the place is always clean, the residents are all super nice and Nick (one of the property guys) is great to deal with!

Our time at cadence has been nothing but enjoyable. The apartment is beautiful, with a gorgeous view, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood is lovely. Couldnt be happier with our decision to move here!
