Thai Town is a small neighborhood -- just six blocks from Western Avenue to Normandie -- but this little neighborhood is filled with nightlife hotspots, great restaurants, and fantastic culture. Considered part of East Hollywood, Thai Town is directly north of Little Armenia, with Hollywood Boulevard running through its center. Thai Town residents enjoy shopping at Thai Town Outlet, listening to live music at Thailand Plaza, and enjoying nearby Hollywood landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Sign, and the Griffith Observatory.
If you rent an apartment in Thai Town, you'll be able to enjoy the neighborhood's special events and festivals (which are plentiful). In September, head to Barnsdall Art Park for Thai Cultural Day. April is the time for the Songkran Festival. And in December, be sure to experience the Hye Thai Festival, a festival that celebrates both Thai Town and its neighbor, Little Armenia.
