Property Ratings at Brown Heights
I lived in a 1BD unit for about a year and a half and had my issues. Because I was above the shops, there was a lot of traffic noise from 105 and security was questionable. Boone's generally a safe place but there was a break in to the shops below me and I realized how cheap the locks are on doors that are open to the public. Management could also be unenjoyable to deal with. Just an example of one situation with them: I have an ESA and when I told them they tried to get me to move out. However, the guys who come to fix things are great and the units are very spacious and close to campus. I would recommend getting a space heater though because the baseboard heaters are murder on the electric bill.
