Apartment Reviews at Brookview Commons
Thank you Brookview Commons for making my stay so wonderful and pleasant.
These are perfect six for me and my boyfriend as were are first time renters. They came fully furnished and it was one of the few places around that took animals.
For the most part, I enjoy living here and the best part is I recieved two free months of rent. They also allowed me to have my two dogs, which its hard to find an apartment that allows dogs. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning unit has broken twice, even though we had maintenance come and fix it. Also the entry is a key card so if you close the door and forget your key card, it locks automatically and you will be charged a lock out fee.
My husband and I contacted this apartment building about renting an apartment for 3 months. In the description, it says they offer a 3 month lease as a minimum but we were told by the leasing agent that they don't usually do less than a year lease. The leasing agent then told us that she would call us back to let us know if the lease could be changed, and never did. Extremely unprofessional of them, and they're lying in the description on this website about lease length.
I love to eat out and Brookview Commons is right next door to my favorite restaurant. It is also very close to my grocery store.
Used to be (college) student housing, but is no more – mostly working professionals in building.
Brookview Commons is very pocket-friendly and has excellent facilities. It is also close to Metro North.
At Brookview Commons, you are basically at a walking distance from the nearest train station and restaurants. Such a great stay!
I am allergic and hence I cannot live in carpeted floors. Brookview Commons offers hardwood floors which are perfect for me.
Brookview Commons is extremely pocket-friendly and BRT Corporation offers short term leases too.
Would never recommend!
The management is horrible. It takes weeks for even an urgent request to be processed. I had to reach out to the management numerous times to follow up on maintenance requests. The management doesn't even answer phone calls and when they do, they are rude. The laundry rooms stink, washing machines rusted and maintenance disappointing. Some of my clothes were damaged by the dryer. On top of it, they charged a hefty amount for 'cleaning' the apartment at the end of my lease even though I cleaned every single thing in the apartment before leaving. They charged me for the 'apartment cleaning' both at the beginning and end of the lease.
I have allergies, so the hardwood floors are much better for me than carpets, and I really like the high ceilings.
Pet friendly – takes small dogs or cats – I had a hard time finding a place where I could live with my pet.
Downtown Danbury is great place to live, can walk to restaurants and clubs at night.

Neighborhood - Danbury/Newtown/Monroe
Previously one of the country’s wealthiest counties, Fairfield County, Connecticut, continues to garner recognition for its affluent residents. In 2014, the Higby Elite 100 list named the Golden Triangle in Greenwich the richest neighborhood in the nation. While the shoreline area makes up the core part of Fairfield County, the six outlying cities and towns to the north — Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Monroe, Newtown, and Sherman — share many of the same characteristics as the cities and towns in the shoreline area, including a beautiful suburban landscape and relatively close proximity to New York City.
