Brook Run

We looked at over 30 complexes looking for our perfect place to call home and Brook Run is it! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the pool area is amazing. The pool is even heated! There was a management change but the staff stayed the same so it helps seeing familiar faces. It’s only been 6 months of us living here, but every day we find something new to appreciate. We love living here!

We have been on numerous tours in the area and none of them compared to Brook Run. The landscape is breathtaking. The grounds are kept clean and the staff is super nice. We unfortunately couldn’t rent due to availability, but we wished we could. Brook Run was at the top of our list.

I have been a resident at Brook Run for 5 years. I have say that Redwood has been the best management company! Melissa has always been pleasant when I have needed to call the office, and Daniel and Peter are amazing with maintenance. I have never had to wait longer than 2 days for any service requests to be completed. The property is absolutely beautiful! My favorite part of the day is walking my dog around the perimeter and taking in the landscape. There is a dog park, heated pool, and 24 hour access package room and fitness center. The property is small so it really gives you a neighborhood feel. There are fun resident events that give you the opportunity to socialize with other residents and the staff. All in all, I give Brook Run 5 stars! You will not be disappointed if you decide to live here!

Brook Run is the perfect place to call home! The beautiful landscaping is what makes this community feel so special. Everyone is very friendly. The maintenance team is very prompt and always willing to help. Big relief after my last place. They know what they are doing and are very respectful. I love the pool especially since it’s heated. It’s not super shallow like other places and gets great sun. Great spot to hang out. I’m glad I chose Brook Run as my home, and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon!

I would like to thank everyone for their constant communication with us during a really unfortunate water main break. They brought me water that night and more the next day. If you look now, you'd never know what happened. Looks good. Much appreciated.

We have been at Brook Run for a little less than a year, but we fell in love with it right away. It is such a nice, quiet and pleasant community. The management is really nice. We look forward to this being our home for the next couple years!

When we moved in we had two boys under 2 and after almost two years living here we love it! Our boys meet so many new friends and neighbors really making this feel like a community rather than just an apartment. The staff does a great job communicating with the tenants and hosting great events for our two boys! The maintenance guys are SO respectful of your space and very helpful! (This was not the case with our last apartment) overall a great place to have kids and meet people.

This is a great and well kept property! The management and maintenance team have done a FABULOUS job keeping the property up to date! I am very pleased with the response time when I put in a service request and how they make you feel like a family! Great amenities and overall an amazing place to call home!

The unit looks nice and quiet. Melissa, she is super helpful nice and friendly. She helped finding the best prices and unit and answering all the questions.

The front office management is great. Melissa M was very professional. She was patient and worked with me until we found the perfect apartment. She carefully listened to my needs and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She handled all my requests and accommodations with kind gloves. 5 out of 5 FORSURE!

Problems experienced with Redwood Mgt. Company/Brook Run: • Redwood spends excessive amounts of money on unnecessary things such as renovating their leasing office, ripping up a perfectly fine parking lot instead of just sealing it, building an un-used dog park, excessive landscaping work that nobody asked for, etc… • Redwood doesn’t address basic maintenance issues such as broken heater and chlorinator in the pool causing it to be unusable, broken lock system for fitness center, and not setting up a brand-new grill causing it to be unusable all summer • Redwood nickel and dimes tenants on the following… $30 per mo. valet trash fee nobody uses, $50.00 per mo. “reserved” parking spots, $35 per mo. storage locker fee, $300 non-refundable pet fee PLUS $30 monthly pet fee, and $7.00 per mo. fee to get your bill • Redwood is constantly sending accusatory emails to tenants warning of fines for not throwing away trash properly, dogs pooping on the grounds, etc… If you aren’t doing these things, the emails are irritating. I will say that Brook Run is in a safe neighborhood, and the people who live here are nice. It is very expensive though, and Redwood is pushing the high rents even higher every year. They charged me an increase of $150.00 per month last year, and I was just notified of a $279.00 increase, if I decide to renew in March. They want this place to be a “luxury” apartment community, and they are sparing no expense to get there. If you decide to live here, be prepared to pay up, and not be able to use the amenities on the property. You have been warned.

The environment here is homey, and the staff is friendly and personable. Our last apartment complex was not like this, and it makes such a difference. We enjoy living here. Nicholas Tallarita

This place is an amazing community! Eliza and Melissa have been incredibly kind and helpful in the office. The maintenance team is awesome. My building is clean and my unit is renovated. Neighbors are friendly, quiet and respectful. No complaints!

Very happy I decided to live at Brook Run - we have two small children and we love seeing other young families here! Management has done a wonderful job keeping their grounds looking immaculate. Redwood Residential are awful and leasing office are incredibly rude and unprofessional! Maintenance can barely keep up with apartment repairs either…

I'm so happy that I found Brook Run. I was very impressed by how professional the management is. Melissa went above and beyond to make me comfortable during my move. The grounds are very well maintained and landscaping is lovely.

I love brookrun! Only been living here since new management started running the place and they have been nothing but amazing! Anytime I put a service request in, they come within hours. Neighbors are very nice. Everything they said they are going to remodel, they have done and kept their word! A dog park is being built soon which is so exciting! No problem with parking or trash! 10/10 !

The community is great, the pool is so nice and management is kind and cooperative. I feel like they care about me as a person.

The new ownership has already replaced all the roofs, cut down all the dead trees AND has planted new ones. They are remodeling the leasing office for more secure package delivery and is generally giving the place a much needed facelift. Mike, their new maintenance guy has been particularly helpful. I needed a few slits replace, my bedroom door needed to be tightened because it was a little loose and I’ve needed all of my vents in my apartment cleaned, the gentleman came within a timely fashion completed all task with no problem, thank you guys so much!

Great communication from the office and they always keep everyone up to date on what they are doing and what we need done around the buildings. Maintenance comes right after you put in a request. Neighbors keep their dogs messes cleaned up outside and we really appreciate that with how many people have pets, including ourselves. Buildings always smell clean and fresh. Also pretty thick walls, we barely hear our neighbors. Nice appliances in the apartments and roomy bedrooms.

Nice apartment buildings. Have updated appliances and everything was new and clean when we moved in. Washer and Dryer in units and very pet friendly.

My window was broken when I moved in and they never fix it. Also they charged me extra $200 fob and key fee that I had never get. They are just taking money and don’t care you anymore. It was the worst apartment experience ever. Never ever rent at Brook Run.

I moved in quite some time ago with family. Loved it so much, I moved into a different apartment by myself! Grounds are always beautiful in the Spring/Summer and neighbors are nice. Staff is always welcoming and helpful when I have an issue. Maintenance is quick and very friendly. Gotta love the pool and how they know my pets names. So happy to call Brook Run home!

Worst service is offered at Brookrun. Horrible communication. Bad management. Save your money and rent somewhere else.

I loved living at Brook Run. I left about4 years ago to purchase a home. Maintenance was friendly. I loved the apartment. It faced south and my deck was full of plants in the summer.

This is a great place to live. There are a number of amenities including a relaxing pool, and gym. The commute to the city is the only downside. It is a drive. More upsides include dog friendliness (pick up bags included), valet trash, and across from a park if you like to jog. They snow plow the parking lot. My apartment has stainless steel appliances and an in unit washer/dryer. There is also a community propane grill if you don't have one, and seating is included outside of you want to have people over. Staff are friendly! Walking distance from a 7-11 for any last minute needs. Overall, great place to live!
