Broadwater

The apartments are nice and the complex is safe. Rosemary is lovely and very accommodating to new renters as well as UTMB students. One of the only places on the island where I have actually felt welcomed. Highly recommend.

I visited Broadwater this weekend while apartment hunting and it checked all the boxes for me: gated, great community, W/D in-unit, etc. To top it all off, an angel named Rose works at the leasing office and she is one of the main reasons I decided on Broadwater. She is very straight-forward, friendly, down-to-earth, and understanding. If you have any questions or reservations at all, she can clarify everything. She really cares about her residents and takes great care of us. Really looking forward to moving in!

I have lived here almost 7 years and just signed a new lease I can't imagine living anywhere else. Management is awesome. Rose, Kathleen and Kristen are The Best in office management. They are never too busy to stop and chat and make sure my every request is taken care of quickly. The maintenance people do a GREAT job, show up quickly and always with a smile. Before they leave, they always ask "While I'm here, can I help you with anything else?" They have treats and snacks in the office almost daily and have gatherings for the holidays to bring residents together. Wonderful neighbors of all ages. Broadwater apartments are the best in Galveston.

We have lived in Galveston for 5 years. The first portion we lived in Driftwood. If you chose to live there, expect gross amounts of black mold pouring through your vents. Not just a vent, but every vent, A/C vents, microwave vents, that flow through your kitchen. Broadwater, has a better venue when it comes to black mold. However, repairs and cleanliness around the pool area are just poor. We've lived here for 3 months. You'll pay upward of what a mortgage might be. If you have bad credit and have to live here it's understandable. If you have great credit and got here by accident, it's not you. The garbage pickup is disgusting!! It's a joint collection and seeps out from underneath the container. You will find tires, gross mattresses, couches on occasion and they have bedbugs. All of the appliances here broke within 2 months. The faux hardwood and tiles in the kitchen either peeled or came off entirely. The microwave, washer, dishwasher, A/C all broke down. Towel hangers in the bathrooms fall off when you hang your towels. In regards to the tubs, they paint or spray over an old tub that wears off after a couple of months revealing decay and mold issues.

I lived there for 3 years and I had a wonderful time. Location is excellent, you can walk 3 min and you are in the seawall, multiple groceries and shopping area close by and easy access to Houston by the 61st. The apartments are always very well maintained, much better even than other new apartments on the island. It has also a very nice pool and clubhouse to chill out. If I have to put something on top is the staff, Rose is always smiling and willing to help everyone, it tells so much about the people that live there, you feel like your home. Even after I move out they are still willing to help if they can. Regardless of what you are looking for, stop by and check it up and ask for UTMB promotions.

Broadwater apartments is a pleasant place to live. It is an easy jump to the 45 as well as the seawall. I have lived here for four years and find the Broadwater one of the nicest places to live in Galveston. Rose always greets you with a smile and is always a positive person to talk to when something is wrong. A person like her is a major asset to businesses today. I do appreciate all Rose does. The staff at Broadwater is absolutely amazing the same people have here for ever and are all very helped bunch.

Have lived here since October. Great staff. Great management. Property is best maintained and cleanest on Galveston Island. There is no other property that compares to Broadwater in Galveston. Be sure to not miss this property when looking for a Great Galveston home!!!

We have lived here going on over 5 years, I absolutely love it! What’s not to like, two blocks from the beach, gated community with a workout facility. Also, in the middle of restaurants and entertainment! We love the management staff! We highly recommend the Broadwater!

I have been here over 10 years and I love it here. The staff is friendly and helpful, when ever I needed something they alway helped out. They have fun activities throughout the year that are family friendly. They welcome pets and also treats for them in the office, my dog love to walk by to say HI and get treats. When I have family over they feel welcome and at home to. They love to come and visit, enjoy the pool and club room. I do feel safe and have never had any problems. Thank you Staff for making an safe place to live and love.

After looking at apartments for two days, I knew my search was over when I walked into The Broadwater. That was almost four years ago and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Love my apartment, love my view of the gorgeous pool/spa, and the tropical plants and palm trees. I still feel like I am on vacation every day. Rose and Kristan, managers in the office, are great. Friendly, yet professional at all times. The maintenance crew is always working hard to keep everything running perfectly and looking beautiful. The pool/spa is sparkling clean at all times, year round. I couldn't be happier here and I highly recommend this location.

i love this place im on my third lease with this complex. the staff is awesome, the maintenance, great. the place itself looks like paradise. i would most likely recommended this complex

This is THE place to live in Galveston, after 6 months of living here, I've come to realize that there is no other apartment complex like this one in the island. I love the treats, candies and desserts they give out every week and the parties they organize for the residents. My boyfriend and I are very happy at Broadwater!
