When the Woodlands was created as a master-planned community, the developers wanted to retain as much of the natural, wooded landscape as possible. As a result, this aptly-named community features 135 parks, 210 miles of hiking and bicycling trails, more than 1,800 acres of open green space, and 14 swimming pools. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion provides an open-air concert site, and several lakes and canals -- including the vast Lake Woodlands -- add even more beauty to the community. The Woodlands is home to several golf courses, including the Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, the Tournament Course at the Woodlands Country Club, and the Club at Carlton Woods: Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
While apartments in the Woodlands are terrific for commuters -- just 28 miles north of Downtown Houston and directly off I-45 -- the Woodlands is no longer considered the bedroom community it was designed to be.

Maintenance staff is very responsive, and the units are in good shape overall. I can't rate a 5 because of two primary issues: the pool is never clean and nearly 50% of the cardio equipment in the exercise room is broken, and this equipment has been broken for over a year.

I love living here! Staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative. Barely hear neighbors or any noise, residents are friendly, great Amentities including walking trails. Love the secluded location too. Beautiful community!

5 years and still love it here. It’s generally a quiet neighborhood and you don’t see a lot of your neighbors. The only thing I would like to see improved are all the security doors and points as well a better lighting in the garage at night.

I truly feel at home here, even though my real home is in Italy. I love the community, the pool area, and the people, this place makes me feel comfortable and part of a big family. Couple weeks living here now! Amenities are beautiful, very quiet neighborhood, no crazy traffic if you’re trying to go somewhere. No issues with parking, I wish I could contact the leasing office faster instead of calling multiple times

I love these apartments and the staff is really nice. They are always throwing events for the residents. They are pet friendly and have dog parks that are walking distance from the apartments.

Very Good ambience, very well organised staff, Felt comfortable and safe , i am planning to move with my family. All the supermarkets are in vicinity. Newly built structures. Good parking, housekeeping. Very good pool & Gym.
