Briarwood House Apartments

I have been living at Briarwood House Apartments in Goshen, NY going on 13 wonderful years now. Briarwood has been the nicest apartment I've ever had. The apartments are spacious and lovely. Our tenants are like family--friendly and considerate, and our awesome Management and Maintenance crew are reliable and caring -- and always readily available when needed. Seasonal landscaping is kept lovely and impeccably maintained weekly. During winter, and days of snow and ice, walkways and parking areas are kept repeatedly plowed and salted throughout the day, every day, and making coming and going, safe and easy. Briarwood House... A quiet community within close proximity to the village. The staff are friendly and quick to respond. The grounds are well maintained with landscaping and snow removal and the onsite laundry facilities are so convenient!

Apartments are renovated and come with free parking, storage included, laundry rooms on site. The staff is on site and always so helpful. Come live here!

I am a newer resident at Briarwood house but I am sure I will be here for some time to come. The property is always clean. Any issues that come up are quickly addressed by maintenance. Jill and Carlos have made the move in process seamless and have really made me feel like I am apart of the family! If anyone is considering Briarwood house as their new home, I would say look no further!

I’ve lived at Briarwood for over 10 years. I love my spacious apartment and the beautiful, tranquil grounds that surround it. The pool and picnic area, with grills, are great places to enjoy friends and neighbors. Ownership, Jill, Carlos and staff are wonderful and always very responsive to anything that comes up. The central location and great school district complete the fabulous package!

The entire staff of this development has become like family to me and mine. It is not only clean and calm, but there are beautiful seating areas for us to enjoy as a family throughout it as well. We LOVE the pool and community grilling areas. Beautifully located near the public library, a park, and the Goshen Farmer's Market. Thank you especially to Jill and Carlos for making our apartment truly feel like home.

I just recently moved into Briarwood House and everything has been great. Jill was very helpful during the entire process and the maintenance team is very quick and friendly. The apartment is very up to date, spacious and clean. I would recommend this complex to anyone.

Come October we’ll be here 8 years and we couldn’t be happier. The apartment is very spacious and very well situated. The landscaping is beautifully maintained with plants placed throughout the complex. The pool area is nicely kept and a nice place to relax. I just wanted to take the time to truly think the staff that works in Briarwood! Despite these uncertain times, the pool was opened for the entire season. Thank you so much Jill, staff, and lifeguards for doing anything possible to keep the pool open and safe. You all go above and beyond here always.

From the moment I started speaking with Jill to the moment I started moving in, Jill has been friendly and supportive. The apartment was newly updated and clean. Everyone who I’ve met so far has been very welcoming. I feel very safe and home here! It’s a wonderful place to live for my kids and I!

I recently just moved in and I love it! Very friendly community and very clean apartments. Definitely recommend Briarwood to anyone looking for a great small home to live in!

There are a few things that make Briarwood stand above the rest. It’s very quiet here especially at night. Manager Jill, Dirck and the rest of the maintenance staff are a pleasure to talk to and address any concerns immediately. The absolutely love the pool and it was a fantastic that they were able to have it open this summer! Also is a walk to Salesian Park and the village. I can say that I love living here for the past 11 years!!

Will be starting my 4th year at Briarwood House and I must say, I am still very impressed. The grounds and apartments are beautiful the pool pristine. It sits across from Salesian Park and is a short walk to the village square. Its even pet friendly.

Jill and the rest of the staff at Briarwood are wonderful! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The apartments are beautiful and newly renovated. The maintenance work is always extremely quick and efficient. It was amazing that they were able to get the pool open for us this year. Not many pools were able to open in New York this year, so we were very fortunate enough to have such a great staff to allow us to enjoy the pool this season!

I have lived in Briarwood for two summers now and have had the privilege of enjoying the pool during the week and on the weekends! With the uncertain times in 2020 and as places and facilities are shut down I just wanted to write an appreciation review. The pool has been OPEN, CLEAN, and operated during regular times! THANK YOU JILL, STAFF, and LIFEGUARDS for opening the pool for all to enjoy. Safe protocols were put in place, as well as the pool being open as per usual even during the unknown and uncertain times! I just wanted to thank you all and show my appreciation by writing this review and how truly grateful I am that the pool was open this summer! :)

My family and I have lived in Briarwood for over a year now. We really love it. The apartments are spacious and newly renovated. The maintenance team run by Dirck, are very nice and friendly. They are always available to help. The property manager, Jill is one of the nicest person I've met. They are always working to make Briarwood better. The grounds are landscaped to perfection and the property is always clean. Briarwood is walking distance to town. The pool is a bonus. This is a great little community. Everyone is friendly and available to help each other. Great place to live.

I LOVE BRIARWOOD APARTMENTS! ITS SUPER QUIET AND THE AREA IS SAFE. ITS LOCATED SO CLOSE TO THE GOSHEN SCHOOLS FOR OUR SPECIAL NEEDS DAUGHTER WHICH TO US IS PRICELESS!! JILL IS AWESOME AND I RECOMMEND ASKING FOR HER, SHE REPS BRIARWOOD TO THE FULLEST AND NEVER TOLD US ANYTHING THAT WASNT TRUE. BRIARWOOD IS THE PLACE TO BE IN GOSHEN IF YOU DONT WANT THE HEADACHE OF OWNING A HOUSE!!! no more mowing the lawn for me! The apartments are always up kept and garbage is emptied like twice a week, NEVER overflowed trash. I love it nothing else left to say.

The Mrs. and I love living at Briarwood House Apts. We are not easily impressed but were amazed upon inspection of our apt when we moved in. Everything was new or looked new when we moved in. Its was easy to move in. The leasing manager "J." is awesome who is very real who understands REAL life. She's not someone who just tells you what you want to hear. Which makes her great at what she does. I had a small apt. concern and it was resolved before I walked back to my apartment, meaning that's how much they are on top of things! In their ad they say "You will enjoy a tranquil lifestyle" and they were not joking about that. Its super quiet, like you cant even tell you have neighbors unless you bump into them outside. Maybe everyone is in bed by 7pm, who knows. anywho, its a great place. Super clean, no trash.

When researching Briarwood House Apartments, their website said its "the best place to live in Orange County" and I couldn't agree more!! My fiancé and I have lived in both a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom apartment here and have loved every minute of it. It is a peaceful and quiet community with friendly neighbors. There are many different floor plans available, even duplexes for larger families. Each apartment is newly renovated with modern appliances, ceiling fans and countertops/backsplash in the kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty of parking as everyone gets at least 1 assigned spot. It is pet friendly and offers many amenities, such as a beautiful pool that always has a lifeguard on duty, as well as a grilling area with tables. The grounds are always beautifully maintained and snow removal in the winter is always taken care of quickly and efficiently. We are within walking distance of a beautiful park as well as downtown Goshen. The rental agent, Jo-Anne is friendly and accommodating and will always go out of her way to help you. Rodney from maintenence is always on call and ready to help. If you have a problem or emergency, he will be there to help in less than 5 minutes! The only suggestion I would make would be to consider using cards that can be preloaded to pay for laundry instead of having to use quarters each time. I love living at Briarwood and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent in Orange County!
