The Pittsfield Lodi neighborhood begins along the southwest side of Downtown Ann Arbor and extends westward Highway 52. This large area includes part of the Pittsfield Charter Township and the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport. It is very close to Oak Valley Center, Briarwood Mall, the University of Michigan-South Campus, and Michigan Stadium – a historic football stadium, nicknamed the “Big House,” is home to the Michigan Wolverines.

I really enjoy this apartment complex so far. Being on the ground floor even with never opening windows or the back door we still get a ton of spiders and bugs inside which sucks. Parking is also rough to find mostly have to park on the street. This apartment is the perfect size for our family

The staff has been really helpful throughout the application process and made it super simple and easy. However, the apartment itself is slightly old and you can see rust starting to form on the stove and some cabinet doors. But overall, it’s ok for a temporary stay.

Facilities are always nice! I love living here, especially in the summer time, the pool is open and they do food trucks on thursdays. The grounds are always taken care of as well.

Briar Cove staff and maintenance are great in every way and extremely kind and professional
We've been renting here since early spring 2020. Briar Cove is a great location, and new management team has been fantastic. Specifically, maintenance issues are usually taken care of within 24-48 hours. We've recently identified a small lease discrepancy, and the management team very quickly resolved it to our satisfaction. Club house and gym equipment has been updated since coming out of the pandemic. We very much appreciate the refreshing experience here.

I’ve lived here for almost 2 1/2 years and am very comfortable. New management has made a huge difference. Office staff is so great now…always friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues are handled promptly. I have no plans to leave. ??

I have lived at Briar cove since 2019 and find the apartment location great and its a good safe community with lots of walkable distance stores and restaurants, but the rent increases every year are over 10% so your salary increases are overtaken by rent increases each renewal.

When I look for an apartment I always prioritize the reviews and specifically the reviews of maintenance and the PM staff. So far every single issue both emergency and non emergency have been addressed within the same day or 24 hours which is amazing and appreciated. The maintenance staff who come in are always mindful of our animals and educated us as renters on anything we should or should not be doing regarding our maintenance request which is also appreciated.

I find Briar Cove Apartments to be a fantastic place to live. I am in my second apartment in this complex and have lived in Briar Cove for six and a half years.The amenities are great…tennis courts; pool; and exercise room. Trash and recycling is convenient and regularly picked up. One thing that has greatly impressed me is the quick response to maintenance requests-the issues are promptly addressed and fixed in a short span of time. The maintenance crew is professional, friendly and competent. I highly recommend Briar Cove to anyone who is looking for a great place to live!

Overall I love Briar Cove! But, this issue is (master bath) really messed up and needs to fixed and finished, properly (not to mention to building code) Don't see a future here without this issue being resolved.

Briar cove is a well managed safe community with lots of stores within walking distance and close to downtown Ann Arbor and parks. Its also near the highway for commuters or people who are generally usually on the move. UoM Eastern and Washtenaw and other schools also near by and the people living hear are friendly and active.

My experience at Briar Cove has been one of my most difficult chapters in Ann Arbor and I've lived through fires where I lost everything. So, I can offer some positive feedback on the location of the complex. That aside, my experiences interacting with the property management staff have been challenging, negative, condescending, mean-spirited, and just plain rude. The maintenance staff was more sympathetic but I fear that they are trying to spin straw into gold every day and have their hands tied. I only moved here because I had to move back to Ann Arbor in the middle of the pandemic and had to sign a lease sight unseen. I woefully regretted not taking the risk to travel during the pandemic to ensure that I was signing a lease for a unit and with a company/property management where I might have had a more positive experience.

Lived in the complex for three months and while the check in process was smooth, my experiences have been nothing but poor. In my first week of living here, maintenance came unannounced to replace my front door, and it wasn't until I came home from work that I discovered unmasked maintenance workers had completely removed my front door. Two months later, I discovered a sewage leak coming from my ceiling and called the emergency phone line and was told someone should be expected shortly. It wasn't until three hours had past that someone showed up to tell me to clean it as best I could and expect carpet cleaners in a few hours. Now five hours later, I still have sewage leaking into the walls and ceiling of my apartment (during a global pandemic) and have yet to hear back about any repairs. Please reconsider your choice and how important a responsive management and maintenance team is before signing a lease here.

Nice area and location and amenities. Decent layout and appliances. Management is responsive to most needs. Not cheap but its Ann Arbor. Crowed and noisy, again AA. Its an apartment living.

So far my family has had absolutely no poor experiences in any part of our interactions here at briarcove. Staff has been amazing and professional and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. The spot is beautiful and clean, and community is quiet.

I have lived in my fair share of apartments and am very happy here. . Any/all staff I havé dealt with has been extremely courteous and prompt with a response, no matter the issue. The grounds are well taken care of as is maintenance of building and individuals units. As a senior citizen I find living here enjoyable and extremely safe. I would highly recommend Briar Cove as an option for just about anyone!

Rental process is quick and easy at Briar Cove. Location is excellent. I recommend it.
I have definitely enjoyed living in briar cove apartments! For the price, you get a decent sized space, with lots of storage and closet space. The in-apartment laundry was the main selling point for me because it is so convenient.
The location is very nice and I have not had any issues with neighbors. The inside needs significant refurbishment.
This is an awesome place to live. Great people and very good location.
We are pleased with our experience renting and moving in at Briar Cove. The complex is well maintained and the staff are cordial and responsive.
