Richwood is a small town an hour south of Houston. The area is suburban and located next to Brazosport College. There are five parks in town for residents to enjoy. This tiny community features several unexpected, unique attractions. Learn about time gone by at the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science. Scuba dive into Mammoth Lake, an underwater museum showcasing a variety of interesting remnants including an amusement park ride, old ships, and an antique fire truck. The museum is named after the 38,000-year-old Colombian Mammoth remains found here in 2003. The museum also has a mammoth replica.
Richwood is typically a quiet place but a few festivals are held every few months in the neighboring town, Clute, only five minutes away. The annual Fall Festival has a silent and live auctions, vendors, and classic Texan barbecue. The annual Great Texas Mosquito Festival is a three-day event with a festival, contests, and live entertainment each night.

Property Ratings at Brazos Crossing
We were exposed to dangerous chemicals and fumes due to office incompetence. If you care for your health and safety, DO NOT MOVE HERE. While resurfacing a bathtub in a neighboring apartment, it was not properly ventilated and got into the AC units of our whole building. They never gave notice to any of the units about the work being done. Our pets were exposed for hours. We were left for days without being able to turn on our AC in the middle of summer and left feeling lightheaded, even with all the windows open. We never heard a word from office staff about the issue, they never attempted to rectify the problem. The maintenance staff even said to others in the building that it wasn't safe for tenants to stay there. They may offer good move in deals, but be prepared for the rent to go up 150 afterwards. An extra 150 for lack of parking, the grass area behind the building constantly smelling of dog poop and makes patios unusable (for building 9 at least), consistently broken gym equipment, a pool that can't ve used most of the summer "for repairs", and an office staff that is unavailable or can't be bothered. Not only will your entire security deposit be kept, but they will nickel and dime you over baseless and ridiculous charges. They treat you as a walking dollar sign, not someone trying to make this a home. For the sake of your health, safety, and wallet, you are better off looking somewhere else.

After a horrible experience with a near-by community, I was referred to BC by another property that did not have the floor plan of interest. BEST rental decision I have made in a very long time. Erica, Hailey and everyone else has been professional, with great communication skills, work orders are completed within 48 hours or addressed, as I sit on my balcony in the evenings, I love seeing the on-site police officer patrol for security and the property stays aesthetically pleasant, for the most part. I have been here since early spring 2022 and have not encountered anything that was not resolved to my satisfaction. It's home for me and that is something I take seriously. Have and would recommend to family and friends!

Nice and everything but maintenance never notifies you when they are going they just go inside your house
Nice clean apartments and kitchen area, same old apartment stoves and fridge, no bugs or roaches, thin walls, nice flooring and bathrooms, dumpsters are always over flowing and some staff can be unprofessional and not informative until something goes wrong.
When looking for a temporary place to stay, I made this my choice. I couldnt have been more satisfied with my short stay. Highly recommended.
The apartments feel like a real home, pure silence, and a good choice for people living on their own. The pet deposit is a great deal and easy online applications.

My husband and I found this apartment complex online and we are so in love with the floor plan and the great atmosphere! The staff is so amazing and Taylor helped me with all parts of moving in! I love being right by the pool, and having pretty cool neighbors. Really glad we moved here!

I am very excited to move into this apartment complex. The process was very easy with the assistance of Rachel. The office staff, but Rachel especially was very helpful. After weeks of looking for a great inexpensive place to live in, I found Brazos Crossing. This place is amazing for the cost and is incomparable to any other apartment complexes. Great in every way, in unit washer and dryer, wooden floors, nice lighting fixtures overall a great place to come to after a long day at work or office. I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn't experienced great quality living at an affordable cost. Speak with Ana at the front desk, she will be more than glad to help you out. I personally recommend her to answer any questions and help you out thru the move in process.
