When the Woodlands was created as a master-planned community, the developers wanted to retain as much of the natural, wooded landscape as possible. As a result, this aptly-named community features 135 parks, 210 miles of hiking and bicycling trails, more than 1,800 acres of open green space, and 14 swimming pools. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion provides an open-air concert site, and several lakes and canals -- including the vast Lake Woodlands -- add even more beauty to the community. The Woodlands is home to several golf courses, including the Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course, the Tournament Course at the Woodlands Country Club, and the Club at Carlton Woods: Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
While apartments in the Woodlands are terrific for commuters -- just 28 miles north of Downtown Houston and directly off I-45 -- the Woodlands is no longer considered the bedroom community it was designed to be.

Property Ratings at Boardwalk at Town Center
I am very satisfied with the quality of life I experience living in this community, specifically in Building 1. The people are mostly friendly and respectful. Maintenance is impeccable, and the building is always clean and hygienic. The only area worth improving is that the Business Room administration needs to be more attentive, as the computers are often poorly maintained (technical support for viruses and malfunctions), and it takes many days, and sometimes weeks, to refill the printer toner when it runs out. These are small details that inconvenience residents. Best regards.
This community is the best! Meghan, Kylie, Madelynn, and Will are top notch and great to work with! This is my first apartment in 20 years but they walked me through everything. VIP experience for sure!!!
I like to live here, I have all the amenities I need, and the food trucks are an excellent idea. I reported a couple of burning out bulbs and was immediately attend.
The pool and Rooftop areas are top-notch. The walk to the apartment from the parking garage is long, but manageable. very hard during the move-in and out phase.
The place is always clean, very quiet, the surroundings are beautiful, there are many places nearby to eat, shop at the market, get ice cream, and the best part is that you can walk there. I love this place.

While on the road moving back to Texas, I called to see if I could get a tour and was able to get one an hour after I made it back home. The tour was lovely and sold us immediately to apply for a 1 bedroom studio apartment. Everyone at the leasing office is extremely helpful and answered all of our questions and we were able to move in by the end of the week.

It is a very nice area to live in. It is quiet and you have movie theaters, restaurants, the mall very close by and many other things. You live very well.

Great property and very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Negatives include the following: 1. Hidden fees such as Valet Trash Pick-up (we live by the trash shoot but cannot opt out of this $17 a month fee) and ameneties fee ($50 a month again on things we do not use but cannot opt out). 2. Parking garage is not monitored. Plenty of illegally parked cars as defined by lease. At a similar property in City Centre in Houston, all cars are required to have a decal and visitors have to part on upper floors unlike here where it is a free for all for parking spaces on your floor and people use garage to store cars that have not been moved in the 2 years we have been here. 3. Rental Rate of $3,000 for a 2 bedroom is excessive and you can expect a 3-5% increase at each renewal period. 4. Very loud if you do not live on top floor. 5. Property is obsessed with blowers that are gas powered and loud. Will blow one leaf for a hour on days when not really needed.

Great staff and location, I wish amenities were renewed and the food trucks weren’t as noisy right under my windows. Also, pest control sometimes ignores my requests and doesn’t treat the home.

Need better control of ants. Insulation is too thin between walls (noise as well as smell of other residents cooking). Garage gates always broken due to people hitting them.

Very much enjoy the view, access to Market Street and the River Walk. Great fitness center. Wonderful to have Wine Wednesday and Monday Food Truck.

Great place to live with nice amenities in a perfect location. I absolutely love living here. Everything you could need is within 3 square miles. Maintenance staff are wonderful the building I very well maintained

Wonderful place to live. Staff is super friendly and always ready to assist. Maintenance is top notch. The walkability score is the main reason I live here. I would give that a 10 out of 10. Many have lived in these apartments for years and rarely needed a car. Whole foods, HEB, restaurants, many retail stores within walking distance.

This property is constantly and successfully doing things to keep common areas clean and neat. The maintenance team is amazing. They are often available the same day I put in a request (even to change a lightbulb!) The office staff are friendly and always helpful. The location is within walking distance of groceries, restaurants, and music at the Pavilion! I highly recommend living at The Boardwalk at Town Center. VE

Good morning. Hope everyone is doing great this Sunday. I haven’t moved in yet (January 1st, 2025) but so far the process has been great. I trust the community will be everything that I have seen in pictures as I am moving from Miami for work. I know the Woodlands is rated as one of the best places to live in our beautiful country so I’m excited about this move. See you guys in a month!

Perfect central location, beautiful Falls and Winters here with all the trees and lights. Staff has always been nice and helpful. Only small downfall is that these are older buildings but everything else kinda makes up for it.

So far, everything here has been amazing! Residents are friendly, along with staff. It’s a nice quiet area, which I was concern about being right across from the fire station and Pavilion. Granted, I haven’t experienced a concert yet, but I can’t recommend this place more! It feels like a home, not an apartment.

I’ve had a lovely experience living here. It does get loud. And parking is a nightmare. Whenever there’s a concert or event, it’s annoying trying to get out.
