Blackhawk Trails Apartments

I've been living at Blackhawk now for 4 years and just signed another lease. Blackhawk is very well maintained. If you have any kind of issue come up Management and Maintenance are right on it!! Close to just about everything you could possibly need. I love living here!!

Our experience living here has been truly wonderful. The elementary school for our child is fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with it. The community is always very clean, and whenever something needs to be fixed, the maintenance team responds quickly and takes care of it right away. It feels quiet, peaceful, and very safe, which makes it a great place for families. We also enjoy the amenities. The pool is great — even though it’s the only one for the whole community, it never feels crowded. The office is very convenient when we need to print something, and the gym, while small, has everything we need for a good workout. Overall, we really enjoy living here and feel very lucky to call this place home.

I’ve lived at Black Hawk Trails for close to four years. I recently got married and needed to move into a larger apartment. Jessica and her team did everthing they could to make our transition as smooth as possible. We love the neighborhood, and everything the complex has to offer. We’re proud to call Black Hawk Trails home.

The apartment is wonderful. The one bedroom is spacious, has good lighting, and the patio is a bonus! Everyone is nice and respectful. It being pet friendly has made such a good home for our cats. I love having the pool to enjoy after work and the location is convent for short drives to many restaurants.

This is I think hands down my favorite apartment complex I’ve lived in! Not only is our apartment really big and lovely but there’s a great fireplace and in-unit laundry and on top of all of that we have underground parking! I couldn’t ask for more—it’s been a genuine joy to live here

From looking for a place to moving in to living at Blackhawk, my experience has been awesome. The landlord and maintenance team are responsive, kind, and helpful. The property is really nice and the amenities are great. It’s such a great value. Highly recommend this place!

We have lived here two years and planning to renew for another year! Very clean and very safe. Management is amazing! Annual pizza parties and annual summer parties! We love it here.

Started living here with my boyfriend & couldn’t ask for a better complex. Apartment is located in a great part of town! Close to Middleton & close to west side restaurants. The apartment is well maintained - they have done several improvements while I’ve lived here, including adding cameras to buildings & repaving the parking lot. Maintenance & management are quick to respond to requests. Would recommend to anyone looking for housing in Madison.

We’ve been here for over a year and can’t recommend enough! Very accommodating for pets while still being quiet. Great neighbors, maintenance staff is very helpful, and management is helpful and positive. Close enough to amenities while being on the outside of town. The park nearby is very nice, lots of people out for walks with their dogs and families.

Lived here for a year and truly enjoyed it. It’s very nicely located, with stores and the mall within 10 mins. There is a club house that is available to use, a pool with a very nice deck, elevators and carts that help with moving. Maintenance is incredible and quick! Jessica, the property manager was always very helpful and friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who’s looking!

We lived here for a few years. The location is very peaceful and I always felt very safe. We have the best neighbors I now call life long friends. The property manager Jessica always available for any questions we may have and keeping us informed about the property. The monthly events they offer are always fun too. We can't forget the maintenance team. They are always there when you need maintenance from the inside and outside of the Blackhawk trails community. The Blackhawk park across the street has been a bonus for me and my dog. Always a nice walk after a long day. I'm so glad we chose this place to call home.

We moved into the Blackhawk Trails Apartments after searching around the Madison/Middleton area for an appropriate rental after selling our country home. We were hoping to find something that reminded us of our place in rural Iowa County. Blackhawk Trails offered just the place we hoped to find. Our third story two bedroom apartment is perfect. We love it. We have all the room we need. The kitchen has loads of countertops and cupboards. Both bedrooms have lovely large closets. It is close to services, grocery stores and more. We enjoy the excellent management of the property that is combined with friendly folks we meet as they go about their daily business. The neighborhood surrounding the complex is quiet and close to several excellent trails, including one that is part of the Ice Age Trail which meanders throughout some beautiful Wisconsin countryside. We intend to use the pool as summer approaches. The exercise room comes in handy for long winter days that tends to keep us inside.

I’ve been living here for a while, and I have to say—it’s a great place to call home. The school district is excellent, which is a huge plus. The pool is always clean, and maintenance is super quick whenever something needs fixing. One of my favorite things is the park right across the street—it’s perfect for a walk or just getting some fresh air. It’s also a really pet-friendly community, with no size restrictions, and despite having plenty of dogs around, it’s surprisingly quiet. The neighbors are respectful, and the overall atmosphere is really nice. Another big plus is the management. The manager is super responsive and always helpful, which makes a huge difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept place in a great location, I’d definitely recommend this apartment!

Giving a review from slightly older residents . Been here going on 7 months and couldn’t be happier. From how nice the buildings are kept to having access to a pool, workout room and able to go for walks in a beautiful area. The other residents are so nice and it’s quiet all the time. Jessica is great! Always available if you need her. So happy we moved here.

We just signed our 3rd year lease and I am sure we'll be signing more! The property manager and maintenance staff are very friendly and quickly respond to any need. The complex is beautifully maintained. It's also located close to many stores and restaurants yet its location is quite serene. Thank you Jessica and Ervin for all you do!

Lived here for about a year and had to move due to a job out of state. But during my time this has been the most excellent place to live at. The complex and units are very luxurious. Jessica really manages the place well from administration, events, and communication, and I think thats what sets this place apart from other apartments. The maintenance staff are also very good. I had uneven stovetop prongs due to heat warping over the years. Put a request in. Next day the prongs were all replaced with brand new ones.

Very quite and clean apartments! Pet friendly (dog and cat) and close to highways and city, but still a feeling of being away. Jessica and staff are fantastic! Never had a problem with management and BY FAR the best property management experience I have EVER had. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely love living here! Nice, affordable apartments, clean, quiet and peaceful. Great location, close enough to the city proper and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It's next to a beautiful park area, has a great pool, and is super pet friendly! A great spot for people of any age!

Blackhawk Trails is one of the best apartment community to live in Middleton. Jessica , property manager, is very professional and friendly. The maintenance team hands any problem very promptly and kindly. They really maintain everything inside and out to keep it looking pretty. I've always felt safe and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. So far, I have enjoying living here and would definitely recommend it.

This apartment complex is in a great location. The amenities are amazing and the maintenance team is very quick to fix anything needing to be fixed in the apartment!

The apartments are conveniently located near plenty of shops and places to eat. It is next to a nice park and peaceful neighborhood. The units are clean and pretty spacious. It’s nice to have a washer/dryer, parking garage and workout center on site

I love living here! Everything is clean and very well maintained. The gym, pool area, community center, hallways, yards, etc are constantly picked up and taking care of. The management responds to any questions/concerns super fast and is always willing to help. HIGHLY recommend living here!

The place is very well maintained, Jessica and the maintenance team are extremely prompt and supportive. It’s a beautiful location and has a nice landscape, parks around and a lots of children play area. Been living here for 3 months now and it’s just great to be here. Apartments are a great quiet location just outside of town. Amenities are great. Jessica is very responsive with any issues. Would recommend.

Clean, quiet, maintained well. A lot of families and dogs but still very quiet. Management and maintenance are friendly and responsive. Could use a bigger dog park, but other amenities are nice and the neighborhood is good for dog walking.

Jessica is an incredible property manager. Everyone that is apart of maintenance does such a fantastic job. This is truly the best place we’ve ever rented. I cannot tell people enough how amazed we are.

We definitely made the right decision when we picked our apartment at Black Hawk Trails. We love Madison's westside, and Black Hawk Trails is conveniently located to everything we want to do. The people are incredible at Black Hawk. Jessica, the property manager, is amazing and extremely responsive. We love working with her. Our neighbors are friendly, kind, and considerate. The complex is gorgeous and well maintained. I'm amazed at how hard the staff work. My husband and I look forward to living at Black Hawk Trails for many years to come.

This apartments are great. Jessica (the Property Manager) is excellent. She is responsive, friendly, and very effective in her role. Maintenance was also great when I needed them and the upkeep of the grounds and apartment buildings was excellent. It was a safe place to call home and you can't beat the location.

Lived here since 2015. 2 bedroom apartment and studio. Have nothing bad to say! Any issues or concerns where always taken care of asap. Which was few and far between. Great place to live!

I have been living at Blackhawk trails for a couple months and I am extremely happy with my move! It is in a great location with Greenway Station and West Towne Mall only a few minutes away. I feel safe and comfortable here.

We have been here for a few months and could not be happier. The maintenance staff is so friendly & quick to help if there are any issues that come up. Although the buildings are a bit older, they have done a great job to keep them updated and in great condition. Jessica is also absolutely AMAZING. 10/10 recommend!

We've lived at Blackhawk Trails for almost 2 years and we've had a wonderful experience! Maintenance is very friendly and have always been quick to fix any issues. The Property Manager, Jessica, has been great to work with since the very beginning. The property is beautiful and in a prime location - close to Greenway Station and only about 20 minutes to downtown Madison. Highly recommend Blackhawk Trails!

We have lived here since the end of April and have really enjoyed it so far! Our apartment is spacious and has plenty of storage space. Management is friendly, responsive and tend to maintenance requests quickly. Our neighbors are all very nice and respectful. A lot of them have adorable pets that are always so happy to meet new friends! We have loved how quiet the apartment complex is and how close it is to grocery stores, pharmacies, the Princeton Club, and a lot of our favorite restaurants.

I lived at this complex for 3.5 years and just recently moved out. I had a fantastic experience with property management and maintenance, and would rent with this company again in a heartbeat.

I have lived here for about 2 months now and from the beginning the property manager, Jessica has been professional and extremely responsive to my every request. The clubhouse is very clean and inviting. My first apartment in Fitchburg did not meet my standards as much as my home here.

The lofted apartments are so spacious and amazing. You get to have pets too. It's perfect for the price you pay. All the amenities you need!

I highly recommend the Blackhawk Trails apartments! I lived in a studio for nearly 5 years, and only moved since I purchased a townhome. Otherwise I would have stayed. The size and space met my needs (for myself and my small dog) - large walk in closet, in-unit washer/dryer and bonus storage space in the underground parking area. It was so nice to live across from the park/green space to walk my dog and enjoy during the summer. Jessica, the property manager was wonderful, always quick to respond and accommodating. Maintenance was terrific and provided prompt follow up. Thanks Jessica and Blackhawk Trails for a wonderful renting experience!

Great location.. close to city life, but far enough removed for peace and quiet. Great, professional staff. Clean buildings, friendly neighbors. Great amenities!

I lived here for 2 years and had a great experience. The maintenance staff is extremely friendly and responsive, and all the facilities are well-kept, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The only dislike comes with living in any apartment complex, is the noise. You can here the water running through the pipes in the walls, and every noise the neighbors make.

I have never lived in an apartment complex before, but really love this Community! Everyone is very friendly and our Apartment is spacious and feels like home! Love that we can have our dog and there are so many areas nearby to walk her. The manager, Jessica is amazing!!

I selected Blackhawk Trail Apartments for the convenient location to my work, church, local shopping, and the belt line. I soon discovered what a great place it is. I love the underground parking with plenty of storage. I have an awesome view of the park and can sit on my deck and read. The neighborhood is very quiet. I enjoy the clean, workout facility as well as the pool area. The buildings are cleaned thoroughly and on a regular basis. The tenants in my building are friendly, and management is supportive and readily available if needed. I would definitely recommend living here.

It is excellent, because it has a pool, a workout room, underground parking, good location, a porch, included amenities. I love being right by a big park.

I had not lived in a apt in over 30 years, so I was very wary about moving in to one. I have been so pleasantly surprised. i am a senior and was concerned about noise. But It's so quiet here! The insulation is not only good for reducing noise, utility expenses are much lower than I'd expected. The common areas are very well maintained. My minor service requests were filled within 24 hours. Ervin the maintenance tech is very polite and friendly. Jessica the manager replies quickly to any inquiry. And because they are pet friendly, I got to adopt a dog to share my new space! I would highly recommend Blackhawk Trails for apartment living.

We moved here in 2018 based on the School district ( I did not see it in peraon) and it turned out to be the best decision given the location and the Management. Firstly,Any essential service or luxury you can think of is within the radius of 2.5 miles. Elementary school, day cares, pharmacy, UW clinic, parks with swings, Basketball/Tennis courts, banks ,etc.. The neighborhood is good. Secondly, the property itself has variety of floor plans. The facilities are good. My daughter loves the pool and the precise Library and we love the Barbecue, specially the sit out. We have never had an issue with our requests for maintenance or upgrading the appliances. The management responds immediately to any concerns. Lastly, the way the COVID-19 situation was handled by the Management is commendable, With regular sanitization and cleaning.
