Nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, Ogden sits 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, combining outdoor adventure with city living. This former railroad hub features an extensive trail system along its eastern edge, offering residents immediate access to hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. Weber State University contributes to the city's dynamic atmosphere, while the historic 25th Street district showcases local shops, restaurants, and the restored Peery's Egyptian Theatre. Current rental trends show average apartment rates ranging from $929 for studios to $1,966 for four-bedroom units, with most rental categories experiencing slight decreases over the past year, making it more affordable than other Utah cities.
From the tree-lined Jefferson Avenue district to the developments near The Junction, Ogden's neighborhoods each have their own character. The city provides easy access to three ski resorts: Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bigelow
Me and my boyfriend moved here site unseen for his job. The property manager, Bobby gave us all kinds of misinformation making out like it is a beautiful remodeled apartment. We arrived to a 500sqft apartment with yellow painted wall, original hotel carpet, and no kitchen. No stove, no dishwasher (not the end of the world, no space for a dresser, we had to live out of our suitcases. We were provided 3 feet of counter space which was taken up by the sink and a 2 burner hot plate that couldn't even get hot enough to boil water. When Christmas came, we couldn't put up our tree. There is no storage so our apartment had boxes and totes stacked to the ceiling because we couldn't unpack everything with the little space provided. The building has 3 elevators total. Only one worked and the service elevator was broken half my time there which caused valet trash that we were paying for to just not pick up trash. People would break the magnetic lock to the building which brought in homeless sleeping in the lobby and people coming to sell drugs. My boyfriend had also gotten stuck in the elevator for a half hour. There was constant construction causing people to not be able to access their parking spots and often threatened being towed which no legal parking near the building. The fire alarm went off often which was a very loud siren with a repetitive voice saying to evacuate and would go off for a minimum of 20 minutes any hour of the day. Sometimes the elevators did not work at all and when people needed to use the steps, it was dark, and the ceiling collapsed causing people to can't even leave the building. The only competent person was the Maintenance man named Nick. He is/was very friendly and tried his best to address all the apartments that were falling apart. So I would not recommend this place to anyone. Its also a bad area.

If you like living with drug addicts and parking your car where the homeless sleep then this is the place for you. On top of that the staff are really good actors and will make you feel like they wanna help until you realize they won’t! Awful place to live
