The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Bermudez Apartments
I have been living here for almost 2 years, but now with the new management, things have gotten a lot better. The lobby is cleaned EVERYDAY not once a week like before. The new super has made some positive changes as well as introducing new tenants to their neighbors. It’s nice to come home and feel safe, and not wonder who the random people are that keep walking out of apartments. Very friendly and welcoming environment. The hallways have just been painted and the front lawn gets taken care of biweekly. As well as there is NEVER garbage on the front lawn. Overall a lot of changes have been made over the course of 2 months and as a tenant I am very pleased.
First off I have to give thanks to God for even being able to write a review about an apartment simply because many are without living quarters worldwide as we know it. I have been living in my apartment since 2009 and every year since then to current it has deteriorated. At first sight as a renter I saw a 3 story building with roughly 6 apts on each floor translating to me that it would be easily manageable by the superintendent of the building if any problem occurred but I was wrong. During the 1st year of my occupancy I noticed the apartment was crooked meaning the foundation was not even all the way through my 1 br apt..I didn't realize until after trying to furnish the apt because certain furniture would not be leveled ( coffee table with four legs would rock back and forth due to only actually 3 of the 4 legs able to touch the floor). I purchased a dining room table with 2 seats and only 3 of the four legs would touch the floor simultaneously on the table so I had to return the product. I also purchased an exercise machine and was unable to use due to the lopsided foundation in my bedroom. The bathroom's unleveled foundation causes any water that splashes onto to the floor due to showering or cleaning to drift on a slant into one corner of the bathroom which is occupied by a early 80's iron radiator with an open base that you can literally look down in the opening with a flashlight and see the foundation underneath. Not to mention it is only approximately a 2 inch gap from the radiator to the bathroom wall leaving no significant space to properly clean or mop any debris or water that may travel there. Over the years the water accumulation in that corner has caused mildew and rot but the superintendent insists that it is dirt. All the radiators that occupy the apt are old fashioned with a manual on and off metal knob. The bedroom radiator would leak water from the base when operating while the kitchen has a sprinkler type heating device that lets out heavy clouds of steam when activated by the building being there was no on or off knob for this specific room. It caused the walls to sweat and peel and the wood cabinets began to deteriorate over time. Recently the living room ceiling caved in ,the floor underneath the tile began to crack and expose nails due to poor foundation in the kitchen and the wooden strip tiles in my bedroom are rotten and what I hope are ants and not termites surface occasionally. Not to mention the rent was raised again. HELP ME!
Apartment building is very clean. Our hallways are cleaned once a week. The building is pet friendly. There is no trouble getting in touch with the super because he lives right next door and helps out with no hassel. Then neighborhood is pretty good no nad activities going on. The rent is actually very reasonable. The apartments are spacious and family oriented. Management are involved with tenants and needs even as so to imvite family and children to special occasions and fun day. The building is quiet. You have intercomes in every apartment to buzz whome you want. There is a laundry room downstairs and change machine next door for tenants. Parking isn't so ideal. There is a parking lot out back and a waiting list because the lot is small. I would be disappointed if i had to one day leave this place.
