Berkshire Place

When I first moved here, I liked it. Not anymore. I realized they don't care about the residents. Office staff is not personable like previous management/staff. Community appearance went down. Maintenance is not too strong. You call for a problem, they come but downplay it, never go to the roots of the problem. So you end up with same problem again. I feel like the safety police, always have to call Duke energy to report lighting problems, because I walk my dog at night and don't feel safe in the dark.Duke energy said they're only responsible for streets poles. For some reasons, I always end up with neighbors on top of me with 10 kids, or 10 dogs, at one point a tenant had 13 dogs in total. He had 2 dogs he came with, and the female gave birth to 11 pups. So the amount of noise is always insane. In all it's not the worse place to live, but definitely not worth the exorbitant price.

It’s been ok , property definitely needs renovations units are outdated . Playground needs renovation for the smaller children. Staff is friendly , had some issues with maintenance but property management acted in timely manner.

Nice n peaceful. Quite and nice area. People and staff are very friendly. Maintenance is good and done in timely manner. Office hours are convenient.

Very good and quiet community, the leasing office staff is very friendly. My unit is spacious and sofar I have had zero problems however I have only been there for 2 nights

We moved in about a week ago and are enjoying it so far. Quiet environment and nice area. Accessibility to local shops and pretty much close to anything you need.

I literally just got my keys today. My apartment is beautiful and clean! Angi made this experience so perfect. Very sweet, kind and informative. I apologize to the other girl in the office. I cannot remember your name, But you are right there with her. both of these girls made me feel comfortable from the men walk-through the door to start the process to the minute. I walked out the door today with my keys. As I said, I just got my keys today, so we shall see how the rest goes. I hope it’s as amazing as the start.

A nice quiet place to live. I just renewed my lease for year 3. The grounds are very well kept. I've looked around at other places and noticed trash piling up and neglected landscaping. Laundry room is kept clean. Doesn't have the bells and whistles of a more modern complex, but has a little of everything and for the most part management is very responsive. There are plenty of trees and parking. Patios and balconies are decent sized compared to some others I've seen. Check the prices daily, they seem to change and you may find a great deal.

Overall a great move in experience . Angie has helped through the whole process and it has been wonderful . Berkshire place apartments was really patient with me because I had to change my move in date a few times because life happens and unlike most places they did their best to accommodate that for me. I’m grateful and I love my new home

Berkshire its quiet and a nice place to live. All the amenities are clean and complete. The thing that I like the most is how close the supermarket are! Fantastic

I really love it here, The grounds are well kept, it's nice and quiet. Lots of trees for shade and beauty. The pool is pretty, the laundry room is well kept and the workout room is brand new. Office folk are nice and maintenance has been very quick when there's a problem - which hasn't been often. The one downside is that getting good internet has been a major problem. I work from home and the phone lines used for internet (even fiber) don't connect well. Other than that, I have been here over a year and love it.

So far so good, can't complain. You get the view of the nature right beside your apartment with some animals. The only thing I would like them to monitor is do not allow the outsider to be on the pool and the tennis court.

Excellent place to live , very safe and clean. Maintenance on point and the office manager very knowledgeable and sweet. I highly recommend it.

Getting the lease to be approved was a quite a process especially for new moving immigrants in the US who has not established credit history but Berkshire was one of the apartments who’s staff was very helpful, Johanna who’s been working with us to get our lease approved. The place are well maintained and rent price are at fair price, very quite and peaceful neighborhood and on top of that very close to grocery locations and other businesses establishments In terms of maintenance and management overall happy with the responses

Clean quiet neighborhood. Maintenance abs management are very responsive and keep residents informed about any potential problems and also when items are resolved. There is no guessing

Great, quiet community with easy access to most anything you could want. 4 out of 5 because some of the amenities are dated, and I have to do my own exterminating every 3 months even though I pay for it in my rent. But they did just add a new workout room. The pool is well kept. Website photos include swings but there are none. No recycling. If I could give 4.5 I would, just not a 5. Management is great, they do respond extremely quickly.

Can’t ask for more, very good experience. Safe place to live. The office management and maintenance top notch. Clean apartment complex. If you need any work done request through their website and the service is right away. I’m very please with my experience in this apartments. I highly recommend it.

I truly enjoy living at Berkshire Place, the office staff is very professional and kind to the residents, they are openly willing to always help you with your community needs. They recently remodeled balcony’s, Tennis Court, Pool, and exercise gym. The maintenance team is always efficient and there to help when you need them, it is basically quiet and peaceful.

So far all good. From moving in to any maintenance issues. It's quick, friendly, and a pleasure. I moved into my apartment on September 4 2023

The neighborhood is quiet and easy to get to. The apartment for the price is pretty good. There is nothing I would change. Happy I chose this complex

Everyone is really nice and friendly. It’s hard to find a lot of nice people these days but there are some still out there. Thank you for making me feel welcomed.

It’s been 3 months since I move and I’m very pleased with my apartment and the complex. The maintenance team work very hard to keep it clean and updated with the require maintenance schedule. Thanks so much!!

All in all, Berkshire is a decent place to live. The community is older, but mostly well maintained. Having upgraded appliances would be nice. Maintenance and management are generally responsive. Best of all, I feel safe here. The building layout is such that drive through nuisances or worse is discouraged.

I enjoy how the apartment is nice and quiet. Furthermore, I like how there is plenty of parking outside. The only downside is the apartment doesn't circulate air well and it gets hot in some rooms.

I haven’t been here very long so I will reserve judgement for now but the office staff is very nice and I like my apartment lay out. There is plenty of parking and I saw a deer in the trees so there is beauty in nature here.

I really love this place, but since I moved in at the beginning of the year, communication between management and residents has gone totally downhill. There used to be friendly emails, now crickets. It's still a great place and I am renewing my lease. Grounds are kept up, and the community is quiet. Can't beat the location.

great place to stay people at the office are a lot of help cheap and affordable good size 1 beds and friendly neighbors close to a lot of places very convenient

I just moved in last week and from what I can tell the community is friendly and welcoming. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were some things I was promised that would be done that still haven't been but outside of that, my experience here so far has been great!

Wow I’m very impressed with the excellent customer service and how fast I get to my apartment. Kudos to Charlene very professional!! The complex is very clean so far I like it. It seems a very quiet place.

I have to say that after 5 years, we have to give the community a 5 out of 5 stars!! We have lived here for the last 6 years and have loved the peace and quietness!!! This neighborhood is a beautiful home…very quiet

This is a beautiful place to live. I’ve been here a couple years never had a problem. Maintenance is always on top of the job management is so beautiful they understand, and they worked things out to the best of the ability

The management company is amazing and helpful. The grounds are clean and quiet. The residents seem friendly and it’s a great location close to a lot of amenities.

The amenities were superb. It’s quite old apartment but well maintained. They have friendly staff to assist you whenever you need something.

It's a quiet neighborhood and our neighbors are helpful. My only complaint is these not enough parking and the spaces are narrow. You have to get home by a certain time to get parking.

I've been here three months and it is better than I hoped for. The grounds are neat, the office and maintenance are super responsive, the apartment is very comfortable and everything works! You can't beat the location, super easy to get to the major roadways and to any shopping you need. Hospital close by. Great price for what you get.

I love my new home. The frogs croaking are a perfect touch. Raised between NC and Baton Rouge so sitting on my patio is beyond comforting. And the staff makes me feel like I'm at home.

I love it here. I wish the landscaping were better. The office team are great and the maintenance team are too. They are good to take care of any requests given.

I love this place, the neighborhood it’s perfect because we have to many stores around and it’s peaceful at the same time. The best part it’s that we have security people to take care of us.

4.5 stars. This is a lovely place to live. The buildings seem well-maintained and updated. The landscaping is done regularly too. Maintenance requests are completed promptly. Neighbors are friendly and relatively quiet. My only two tiny complaints would be 1) the water pressure isn't great, and 2) why close the pool at Labor Day when it's still going to be 85 degrees most of September? Otherwise, this place has been excellent.

I would recommend because of location. i would not recommend because tenants do not adhere to dog rules i.e. picking up after their dogs

Berkshire Place was a nice quiet place to live. At times, you could get neighbors that are not respectful. I would recommend Berkshire Place to live.

The complex is in need of attention outside the buildings have rotten wood. Inside my bathroom the ceiling was peeling and falling off.

For the price of the community appliances can be updated as they are older. Also the grounds could look better. The landscaping in front of building and in hallways could look better.

Maintenance is alway friendly and generally quick to solve the issue.
