Property Ratings at Belmond Apartments
Beautiful property and unit. People around here are very nice and the staff is great!!! I recommend this place for anyone. I have a garage and fit a full-size Ram 1500 in it. You will be satisfied with this place!
The Belmond apartments are the worst apartments I’ve ever lived at. The management is not the greatest and the longest going manager he’s been here since we’ve moved in and is probably only still working here because he lives here and gets a discount. The guy is unbelievable at how unprofessional he can be at work we’ve been dealing with upstairs neighbor problems for months and nothing is done so they are loud all Hours of the day and we have over 15 videos of them being loud past curfew(11pm). That’s still not enough for him to give them a noise complaint or nothing. Simply if we don’t complain every week it’s not a problem anymore. The other managers are zero help one of them ask to come in the apartment during the day to see how loud it is? Like they told us they can be as loud as they want during loud hours which we respect. I just don’t respect people that are loud all hours of the day and night. Whatever you do don’t move-in here the PARKING IS TERRIBLE like you can’t leave after 8pm and if you plan on having guest over we’ll good luck finding them parking. The place would get a zero star if I could just know that this place isn’t worth close to $2000 a month we are definitely not resigning a lease here.
Not enough parking. Only one trash compactor for a very large apartment complex, so trash builds up outside every week. Don't rent a unit facing north, bc water will build in the winter and black gunk grows around the windows.
Before about a month ago, this place was great. Management was helpful with service issues, they dealt with some problems with the mail and package delivery area quickly and efficiently. However, about at the start of the summer parking became difficult but manageable. I occasionally had to park a bit away from my apartment, but no big deal. Then management decided to implement a parking system that, had it been in place before my leasing, would have driven me away from leasing here. For a complex with 13 buildings, nearly 350 apartments, there are a grand total of 17 guest parking spots. This makes parking extremely difficult for guests, with the spots near constantly being completely full and guests having to park on the street outside the complex. Alongside this, guests have to be registered to park. Today, a friend of mine came over and we forgot to register his car until he walked the ten-ish minutes to my building from the parking spot. But that didn’t matter, because he arrived at 6:30 and his car was towed at 6:50. We did not even have TIME to actually put his car in, and it was already towed. Not only that, but the towing company they used is on the other side of Fort Worth, so we had to drive all the way out there to get his car. This excessive, draconian parking system would have made me lease elsewhere with how frustrating, unhelpful, and problematic it is. It is causing me to leave the complex, and until it is removed I would strongly caution against renting with Belmond Apartments.
I enjoy living in this beautiful apartment. It feels like a cozy home. The doorman app gives my husband and I the ability to notify maintenance dept of any problems that need correction. The maintenance dept do their best to do the job within 72 hours, however they usually fix it within 24 hours. The landscaping crew keep the grounds beautiful. There is also a parcel pick up room, a email is sent to you with a code to open the locker with your package. There is plenty of dog bags stations to keep the grounds clean from dog droppings. The patio is large with a storage room . We enjoy sitting out on our patio and meeting our neighbors with their dogs. Parking is never a problem, plenty of spaces for residents. Also I appreciate the parking lot location is not outside my window or front door. A small yard between the parking lot and complex is a nice reminder this place feels like a pretty “home “.
What can I say about this HORRIBLE place....don’t rent from here.... they will take advantage of you. The staff is horrible I have had two experience where the lady in the front office has yelled at me for trying to get answers. One she even refused to take my number so I can talk to a manger and hung up on me. When moving out the apartment that had old amenities when moving in and not the new ones we had been promised when first signed the lease, they charged an additional 300 on top of take the 300 we had left for our deposit. Even though we moved out three weeks prior and cleaned the apartment upside down we have been accused of the following: leaving trash (false), breaking a fridge on the very bottom( false) and leaving the apartment a mess (false). And to top it off after being never late on any payments we are being charged 3 month of utilities bills and they can not explain why. When asked for proof we where told this will be put on credit if not paid in full. We will be fighting this, no body should be taken advantage like this. Looking at past post we can see that we are not the only ones and if people don’t read this we won’t be the last. Run from this place so much better apartments to live at.
DO NOT rent here! Zero stars all the way across. My vehicle was stolen from their property at the end of June 2017. My car has been broken into previously and had things stolen from it. The people who took my car that was recently found and the man was arrested and now on bond lives in the area. I had all my personal info with my address and my spare key to my apartment. I have an eight month old and a five year old and no longer feel safe in these apartments. Managers are doing nothing about helping me get out due to safety issues and I've tried to contact them multiple times and no one has followed up. They didn't even offer to change my locks. not only did this happen but there is always trash and hardly any parking. They let and visitors park anywhere so a lot of the times I'm having to park out side the gates or on the other side towards the exit and have me and my two children walk to our apartment late a night sometimes and it's not safe. The dumpster is always overfilling and I've had fruit flies problems on the first day I moved in until now still. The residents are not friendly nor is the management. They same they have patrols but where are they? I've not seen them once since the nine months I've been here. They are very over priced for the locations and the way they keep up with the property. I had lots of heat and cold when it was winter coming through the windrows and the back door and they said they would fix it and never did, that was six months ago. Please for the amount of money they ask you can find a safer and better place out there. I would love for upper management to get In Touch with me in regards to this matter!
Pros . At night there are plenty of lights outside and the parking is never an issue. Maintenance is quick. Not many kids. Nice staff Cons Pools are closed often. Remote gate is broken weekly. Rent goes up a lot each year.
We relocated from Iowa to Texas and were told we would be able to move into our apartment on July 8. But when we arrived on July 7, we received a phone call that our apartment was not ready due to electricity problems and we would'nt be able to move in until July 10. So with a moving van and our car full of our possessions and two pets, we were forced to get a hotel room (that accepted pets) for an extra two nights. We were able to move into our apartment on July 10, but because of the inconvenience to us and the added expenses we incurred, we were given a garage for no rent until our lease is up. We like the apartment and the location, and we feel after looking at many apartment communities, we chose the best one for the money as far as location, extra fees (they are most reasonable) and our apartment is very nice. We would recommend this apartment community to others looking for comfortable living for a good value.
