Bella Terraza

I lived at Bella Terraza between 2019-2025. When I first moved in the complex, things were excellent. The amenities were accessible, the office staff was helpful and maintenance was responsive. Each year I stayed, things got worse. The pool is never accessible and was dirty whenever it was open. The trash issue from the ONE dumpster overflowing to trash all over the property was appalling. We constantly put in maintenance requests for them to mark them completed when no one even came by the unit. Furthermore, when maintenance does enter your apartment, the leave a mess and leave ALL your lights on. Beware, maintenance will enter your apartment when they feel like it -- when I asked why they entered with no notice, they do not respond. The office staff is a joke and has poor and unprofessional communication. They will say they will call you back, but will not, even after multiple attempts to get in contact with them on requests or concerns. My AC went out and my apartment was close to 90 degrees for close to two weeks. Only after threatening withholding rent, did the leasing office find a portable AC for my house. I live in a 3/2 and they installed the portable AC AWAY from the bedrooms, in which we had to move ourselves. After relentlessly requesting another solution, they finally replaced my AC but we were told that we were lucky that they acquired the portable one for us and that we should be thankful. The office does not communicate with you unless it's related to their pockets. They do not care about your needs because if so, they would make more of an effort to do so instead of giving long-term residents the runaround. You do not have access to the amenities you pay for. I promise you, please find somewhere else to stay. You will regret it.

We have been living in Bella Terraza Apartments for 3 years and it has been getting from bad to worse. We have had a broken microwave that was promised to be replaced for months now and still no sign of nothing! And the pools finally got opened only for them to be gross and dirty, they need a pool person ASAP!!! And the pool bathrooms are DISGUSTING!!!! We also have submitted some work orders that we were told maintenance would come a month ago and to this day still nothing. We believe there is only one maintenance man because we have only seen one, Arnet, he is the only one that always comes to my apartment and gets things done!!!! If this continues we WILL NOT be renewing!!!

I have been living here and I have been in tight spots at times also however Latarsa the property manager always works with us because we communicate. So I know that previous review is not the truth. That person probably was not doing what they were supposed to do if they needed time to come up with rent.

This is the WORST apartment complex I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying at. Save yourself the trouble and avoid moving here. The staff is rude and unprofessional, cars have been broken into on multiple occasions and don’t even bother requesting for maintenance because they’ll wait until a month before your lease is up to fix anything. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

This place is a joke they charge you way to much money for what you get. When I moved in there was fleas in the carpet they told us was brand new and sent a maintenance guy with ant killer to solve the problem.... Witch it didn't ended up happening so I had to buy my own flea killer. My water Is turned off more than its on. I had a problem with my shower it took them 2 months to come and fix it. Pipes in the build are old and they say there repiping but absolutely no water peressure can not use sink and shower at the same time anywhere in the apt cause of the pressure issue the parking is a joke and had my car broken into. They said there getting the gate fixed for this gated community you pay for. I've lived here 5 months and never once seen anyone fixing the gate that they charge you extra for. My best advice is to avoid this place there are a lot nicer places for cheaper in a nicer area.

It should have been a red flag when we first showed interest in signing a lease here at Bella terraza. My roommates and I were all moving to Jacksonville from out of state and was unable to visit the place beforehand. They took weeks to get back to us after we submitted out application. The customer service here is awful! The office is closed on the weekends and is only open 9-5 on the weekdays and there isn’t a legitimate emergency maintenance line which is problematic for us when we all work 50hour weeks. There was one occasion where had a hole in our ceiling leaking water after the hurricane and it took them more than a month to make it a priority. (Before they finally fixed it, they would come in and just paint over it.) Yesterday they told us that the plumbers will be coming in today to work on the pipes. The only instructions that we were given was to move the stuff that we have under the bathroom and kitchen sink. I was awoken by them telling me they needed to work on the bathroom in my bedroom so I moved to another room in the unit. When I came back to my room they had moved all of my furniture around and carved large pieces of my wall of to expose the pipes to the laundry room. They placed a tarp that was clearly used before on my bed and had moved my personal items around. They are faulty for not informing us of what work had to be done and what preparation we needed to complete before they came in. We pay $10 a month for a trash compactor that works only sometimes, the water pressure goes in and out and it has nothing to do with usage of another water source in the apartment, the neighbors are inconsiderate and loud. Bella terraza is a horrible place to live. The only reason that we are still here is because we cannot afford to move to another place. Bella terraza needs to be shut down and start over from scratch.

Actually i wouldn’t give them any stars at all. Cars have been broken in and vandalized several times, trash is out of control and all the gates doesn’t work for a long time. I would not recommend anyone ever live here under any circumstances. Current staff is horrible and i will say it again, HORRIBLE!
