Downtown Bellevue hugs the coast of Lake Washington's Meydenbauer Bay, directly across the lake from Downtown Seattle. Bellevue is an award-winning city, with accolades like the best place to live and start a business. Downtown Bellevue is the heart of this popular city, housing many of the businesses, shops, and Downtown Park -- an emerald-green oasis covering 21 acres and featuring a promenade, shade trees, a canal, and a 240-foot-wide waterfall.
As the city's central business district, Downtown Bellevue covers only about 400 acres -- but it is densely populated with office buildings, hotels, entertainment venues, apartment buildings, and shops. Some of the neighborhood's largest employers include Expedia, Eddie Bauer, Concur, and Paccar. Microsoft, located in nearby Redmond, is the city's largest employer.
Bellevue Square contains a variety of shops and restaurants, while the Bravern is a mixed-use development containing offices, apartments, and shops.

Property Ratings at Belcarra
They keep doing plumbing work every other week. This has been 5th water shut off in last month. We didn’t have water for 12+ HOURS. This is insane. PLEASE DO NOT LEASE AT BELCARRA.
The staff are really an excellent team. From move in to move out the assisted us through every turn. Marshall was able to help us navigate our needs for space, parking, and storage. Even during move out when we encountered snags with our movers they were helpful and understanding. The building and facilities are quiet and well maintained, and the location is close enough yet far enough from down town fun. If we were not moving out of state we would have stayed there longer!
Great location, but sadly that is the only great thing about this place. I was warned to not move in here unless it was on the fifth floor by a friend, and I made the mistake of not listening. If you are considering this place, DO NOT move in unless it is on the fifth floor. The building is supposedly new, built in the last decade, but the construction was done cheaply and very poorly. There is no soundproofing between floors and my upstairs neighbor does not abide by the quiet hours. After complaining multiple times, this has not been resolved. I was basically told by management and my upstairs neighbor that I am too sensitive to sound since they travel a lot and I am not used to sound above me. Mind you, multiple times I have heard stomping and running at midnight loud enough to wake me from my sleep. Clearly their life is a lot more exciting than mine. TLDR version - take your money elsewhere if you ever want to sleep.
I could write a long review, but for the love of God, do not live here unless you want a cheaply constructed apartment, noisy exterior, overzealous rent charges, and cold-hearted management. There are simply better alternatives in the area. Pay more if you have to, just learn from my mistake and cross this place off your list.
Overpriced, not a fan of the management. Location is good but so is anything in downtown bellevue
The location of the is apartment is perfect. It allowed my wife and I to get rid of a car and walk to work/restaurants/errands. The amenities are above average and the front office is much better than other places I have lived. The rent is very reasonable for the Bellevue Area. I have never had an issue with hot water, laundry units or the garbage disposal (things that usually break for me in other apartments). The studio Units are on the small side and i would definitely check them out in person first, 2 people max.
