Very nice relaxing quiet friendly community. Great local stores, bakery’s, meat markets, restaurant's within walking or very short driving distances.

A great place to live (and work from home)! Conveniently located, exceptionally well-run by great staff, and very well maintained too. Views from the Vista building are amazing, the pool, gym and amenities are terrific, and the apartments are bright, clean and tastefully done.

Not as bad as people make it seem. It just gets a bit frustrating constantly dealing with the building shaking due to the train being right next to it, but other than that the community is great. The environment is good too. The management could use some tweaking in some areas but they’re friendly.

After moving in at the end of last year, I’m still in love with the apartment and whole complex. The gym is perfect for whatever workout with a great pool for the summer time. Apartment is beautiful with great staff and speedy maintenance for any request.

We’ve lived at Bancroft for almost two years now, and it’s truly become home. The sense of community here is what makes it special—we’ve built great relationships with both the staff and other residents. When we first toured, Thomas showed us around, and we immediately fell in love with the building. The amenities are great, and we loved being able to choose between the exposed beam style or the modern white units. The massive windows with natural light sealed the deal—we signed right away! Since then, we’ve gotten to know Tyler (a total hoot!) and Stephanie, who keeps everything running like a pro. The staff really makes it feel like family. We also love the monthly resident events—they bring everyone together and add such a fun, personal touch to living here. Lofts in old Mill Building are wonderful. The renovation was very tastefully done. The high ceilings make the modest square footage seem huge. No overcrowding and very polite neighbors. Many wonderful dogs gives a homey, neighborhood feel. Quite reasonable price point considering all the amenities versus other alternatives nearby.

I love living here, the staff is great, the building is great, and I can no longer afford to continue living here. The turnover rate is astounding and every time I talk to people moving out it’s because of the rapid increase in rent. In three years my rent has increased 40% and that’s after I’ve done all the negotiating I can.

The resident retention rate is actually rather high and we do have many residents who are still here from the day we opened. I lived in this rental for several months and, unfortunately, had a few ongoing issues. The garage door was broken for a long time. I also regularly experienced loud thumping noises from the apartment above, often at night, which made it hard to relax or sleep, While the location is convenient, these unresolved maintenance and noise problems made my stay less enjoyable than I had hope.

Hi, Thank you for bringing these to our attention. If you have maintenance issues that are not resolved, please do come to the office or you can use the portal to add a service request. As well for disruptive noises, we are happy to work with you on getting those resolved. The garage door unfortunately was not working. There was a major issue with the door. We had to have the entire door and motor assembly fully replaced. We were able to get that completed as fast as they could make a custom commercial grade fast raising garage door assembly. We strive in having good communication on all these types of issues and their progress with the community. Upstairs neighbors constantly noisy, slamming doors and stomping primarily in the evening. Difficult to get down the driveway when there's always someone parked in the no parking zone. People not wearing shoes in the gym.

Everyone is so nice here! In our old building no one would talk to each other, but you can really tell Bancroft Lofts has worked hard to establish a community. We've been pleased by the amenities and how well the appliances work. The mail room is very functional. We did learn the walls a thin so you can hear the neighbors but it hasn't put us off living here. At this time, a 10/10 living experience!
