Property Ratings at Axis Midtown
Along with other reviews, maintenance has been a recurring issue. It takes months and countless phone calls to get anything fixed. Additionally, there is zero insulation between units. I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking, having adult time, crying, chatting, singing, ect. It's clear that the builders cheaped out on this and it's incredibly frustrating to spend so much on a unit that's not private or quiet.

Would be a good building to live in except they will lie and say maintenance work orders are completed when they are not. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner.

I love it so far! I’ve only been here for 3 weeks but I have no complaints other than occasional street noise but that’s not the apartment complex’s fault. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of my apartment when I arrived on move-in day. I also just love my apartment in general, the finishes are beautiful and my unit is very spacious.

Pros - excellent location! - excellent unit! - glad to have a dedicated dog area - very friendly staff! - lovely neighbors/community Cons - Quite a bit of road noise (construction, traffic, firetrucks). Comes with the great location though. - FETCH. This service has been so frustrating that I honestly can't recommend this place solely because of it. But don't just take it from me. I love living at Broadstone Midtown. The area is very walkable and the rate is impressive for our location — we had a birthday party for a friend recently and all our friends commented on how beautiful the building & amenities were, especially for the price in the heart of Midtown. We feel really lucky to have found this place. Savannah in the leasing office is super helpful and always so nice. She does great stuff for our community like securing discounts at local businesses and getting on-site car washes (which was so convenient and affordable). I have told all my friends they should move in when their leases end at their current places, and many are going to soon!! :)
The office staff is great, the amenities are wonderful and it is walkable to plenty of restaurants!
Overall a good building, a good location and a good price. I am satisfied with my choice to live at Broadstone Midtown.
Love the community and area its pretty quiet, the apartment is beautiful and spacious. Maintenance is quick to fix things. Will most likely stay here until I'm ready to buy a house.

The leasing staff needs to be more available by phone. It’s so hard to get in contact with someone with questions or concerns. Sometimes you have to call 6-7 times throughout the day to get someone to answer and at times, the calls are not picked up at all. Lack of staff should not be the excuse.

I applied for an apartment two weeks ago and the service from the leasing office at the Broadstone Midtown has been rough. I applied on March 9th for an apartment after seeing several units and that Saturday I received a series of automated emails saying I was approved. I called the leasing office to inquire about when would I receive the lease and was told Greystar sent those emails out too early and they were still waiting for a background check. The background check took way longer than the leasing agent mentioned, a full calendar week to be exact. After the background check came back fine, the leasing office sent an email a few minutes before the office closed for the day asking for another paystub as too much time had gone by. I sent the pay stub a week ago and I haven't received a response since. I've called three times asking for an update, but no response. I also worked with an apartment locator service and they called a few times and no response. People have to make decisions about their lives and it is incredibly discouraging to have the Broadstone Midtown act in this manner. I applied to one of your competitors and received approval within less than a day. Broadstone Midtown, I want my application to be rescinded and a full refund of all costs associated with applying to a unit. Don't apply here if you want a timely response. There are other units in Atlanta where you'll receive better response times and treatment. There are other reviews mentioning similar issues and I wished I had listened.

Beware, many in the apartment complex have told me management will pay for or offer "incentives" in exchange for good reviews -- my friend received a gift card. Management here is unresponsive -- hard to reach someone by phone or get e-mails responded to. People use some of these units to operate Air BnBs on the DL, and so there are always strange faces coming in and out of the building. There aren't security cameras in the hallways, or in the garage, so if something happens, forget being able to provide Atlanta police with any information or evidence. I've never lived in an apartment building without cameras, at least in hallways or common areas. The garage gate has been broken for days before repair, letting anyone into the garage. There have been vehicle break-ins because of this. They try to hire garage security, but those people are usually just sitting in the cars, not even patrolling the premise. I won't recommend Broadstone to anyone - you may think you're saving money here, but trust me, you'll end up paying for it somehow.

Always random people around because of Airbnbs in the apartments. Residents dont clean up after pets in stairwells, elevator or on the floors. Dog park is usually not cleaned up very well. Lack of engagement from management staff compared to other places Ive lived. With that being said, the location is great and building is pretty with good amenities. It just seems that if management continues to let these actions occur without enforcing rules this complex will be trashed quickly.

Broadstone apartments are nice and modern. Great location in Midtown, close to Piedmont Park, Ponce City Market, MARTA, lots of dining and shopping options and is in walking distance of most things you would need. Starting my second year here :) front office team is really nice!

Out of all the places I looked at in midtown the staff stood out as the most helpful and attentive people to work with. The tour to the application to move in was stress free and smooth. The apartment was on point and have had no issues with anything. Parking isnt even an issue, which is amazing, with it being located in Midtown. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new place to call home in the area.
Broadstone Midtown provides affordable housing while keeping you in the center of the action. Far enough, that you aren't affected by the bustle of city life, but close enough that you are just a couple blocks away from your favorite bar.
Moved in about a month ago and my spouse and I have had multiple incidents with the parking garage gates. The gates have come down prematurely on our cars two times in the past month. One of the incidents caused $600 worth of damage. Management would not do anything to help with the cost of the damage. We pay what I consider is a premium to live and park here and I expect the garage gates to work on a consistent basis. Many days the gates have been open, thus not providing a secure parking area. If you value your car and secure parking, do not rent here. Also, our Nest cam recorded one of the maintenance people opening up our locked door to shove a package into our apartment. We have rescue dogs that are afraid of everything, so this definitely wasn’t helpful. Even with my door closed and locked I feel like someone could walk in at any time.
Broadstone is a beautiful property in a great location. But, things are constantly broken. And it's a brand new property! Just to name a few, in the 4 months living here, the elevator on our side of the building has been out at least 4 times, sometimes for multiple weeks. The gym equipment is cracking and starting to break down. The walk-in magnetic gate to the parking deck was broken for multiple weeks. And maintenance requests go unacknowledged. Something needs to change here, absolutely outrageous.
Trekked all the way here through rush hour traffic to view an apt. The leasing agent was in the back somewhere and finally came out to greet me. I told her I'd like to view some of their vacancies. She replied "do you have an appointment?" Uh, no. Nowhere on their website does it say you need an appointment. So she says "let me check my calendar." She then comes back and says she has an appointment arriving in 5min, so I'd have to come back another day. IMO, she lied. The office was about to close in 30min and she wanted to leave work on time. I also find it odd that it was only after checking her calendar that she remembered she had an appointment "coming in 5min". Obviously, I will not be renting here.
