For a city that didn't even have a stoplight until 2007, Kyle has become one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas. Like I said not a very nice place to live the only thing luxury about it is the price they charge. They almost never take out the trash on time, if at all that day, even tho it's a mandatory additional charge. The front gate to get into the complex has been broken since we moved in. Trash is always all over the parking lot. The pool stays dirty with debris and dead bugs throughout, with bird poop everywhere on the furniture and tables. If anyone dose clean the public areas it must only be once every few months. For the rent prices they charge you can 100% find a better well managed apartment complex. O and our first day of move in we found roaches.

TL;DR at bottom I have lived here 2.5 years. For the first two, I felt most things were great. The only complaints I had were 1. There was a mess-up with a sister property and deposit that took months to figure out and 2. The parking can be terrible in finding a good spot. However, for the past two months we have been dealing with terribly loud new neighbors (never had this be a bad issue before which I believe speaks that it is worse than normal!) and the staff (who normally are quick and helpful in scenarios) seem to be “ghosting” us. The neighbors have stated they will not change their loud behavior and we must just deal with it and the staff has made no additional steps to remedy it aside from phone calls. I have sent many unanswered emails. Because of this, I am writing this review. In it, I’ve included other things to think about before considering moving here. Pros: nice amenities, upper scale apartments, quick and nice maintenance people Cons: lack of staff concern, parking, security gate always broken, “jimmy-rigged” maintenance solutions (our kitchen sink is being held by a piece of 2x4), people are terrible about picking up after pets
I am really amazed by the staff, facilities and amenities that are here at Oaks at Marketplace, Kyle Texas. I am very impressed by everything from the spacious floor plans, huge kitchen with marble countertops, wood floors and high-vault ceilings to the movie theater, outdoor recreation area and beautiful pool. I was a bit nervous moving away from Austin but living here has made me feel very welcome to a smaller city. Oaks at Marketplace is located across the street from H-E-B, Target, Kohls and many other businesses. Why drive when you can walk 5 minutes to eat or simply to go shopping. I am very happy to be living in such a great place and am looking forward too many years of living here. Thank you to all of the staff for being so helpful from day one. You have definitely made me feel welcome and I am honored to be a part of the Oaks at Marketplace Community.

Let me say that it has gone from a decent place to a place that worries that you pay rent and not worry about anything else. The maintenance is horrible and can't fix anything. Management gives excuses of why there's problems and act like it's your fault for tell them. Maybe take some consideration when it comes to complains about problem residents and lack of maintenance repairs.

I am severely disappointed with the Oaks on Marketplace. My husband and I choose the oaks due to them having good security measures when it comes to their tenants and their items such as the gate, package concierge and additional package storage. But, god was I wrong. The gate is always broken, the doors are never properly closed, and they out of nowhere changed the package rules without alerting anyone. The company doesn't take any ownership when there are issues on their property, but loves to send ridiculous emails to all the tenants with threats to dog owners for them not cleaning poo up. But, one thing they don't alert us on, are big security changes. Such as the gate being broken, and rule changes. I just got a $1000 package stolen from my door on THEIR property without any knowledge of the rule changing, and they're response was whoops, maybe we can see an email out to let everyone know the rule change. But, not one time did they say...how can we fix this for you? I don't feel as though I can have things delivered here anymore, because obviously we have someone stealing and this isn't the first time this has happened with other tenants. But, were we alerted of this? Nope. I now have to come up with an additional $1000 to pay for a new system that I should have never had to figure out due to the fact it had already been bought. I am severely disappointed in the oaks, and cannot wait to be out of here. How is it that we can feel so unsafe here, and that we are not covered by out leasing company when they don't take any accountability. "Let me see if we can send an email out", a little to late don't you think? So, my suggestion, choose somewhere else, because they don't have your back, and they also don't see that what their doing is wrong.
