Axis at PTC

Negatives - Garbage shoot remains open a lot and smells through the hallway, walls are thin, no pool, outside public eliminate the community feel, weed smoke smell through the sidewalks, and during the warmer weekends the crowds are louder and larger. TV in the gym stopped working. Getting packages are scary Positives - Close to the hwy. Quiet weekdays are really nice to walk around. Mornings are my favorite time here and the sidewalks are peaceful. I love the windows to the loft. Gym is pretty nice overall. A simple way of life for a geobachelor that goes home often. The studio apts are spacious.

Recently moved in and have had a great experience so far. Vivian in the leasing office is very helpful and the maintenance team has been fast and friendly.

The amenities are amazing, and my pup and I love the cozy and modern feel of the apartment. The maintenance crew is quick to fix and will do their best to get everything ready and good to go.

Overall, it's not a bad apartment. My review is coming from someone that has not rented an apartment in several years, and this is my one stop to retiring as geo-bachelor (spouse and children in another state).The floor/ceiling sound situation is not great. I shouldn't know when my neighbor is experiencing insomnia walking around at 2-4am (I'm exhausted and value my sleep). I've witnessed some unfortunate arguments with threats of harm in the parking lot. The nice walk in the shopping area often turns into brisk march away from unwanted alarming advances. There is an exercise dumbbell used to prop a door open that if accidentally removed could lock all of us out of our apts on a certain floor. Which leads to the frustration in the gym when you are looking for that missing dumbbell. Objectively, neighbors look out for each other and genuinely seem safe. The lofts can be beautiful. Recommend for starters, younger adults, singles, or small families (top flr). I'm just old.

Great location and friendly staff! Moving experience was so easy, and the only negative thing I have to say is that you can sometimes hear the neighbors walking above you. Looking forward to my time here.

Vivian was very helpful and made the process very easy to get me moved in. The community is great so far! I just moved in and am absolutely happy here.

I love my new apartment great area to be in with all the shopping stores and restaurants in the area. I never have to drive and that’s a plus!

Its day 3, so far so good! The area surrounding the apartment complex is vibrant with stores and restaurants everywhere. Shout out the maintenance team especially Mr. Limuel ( hopefully I got the name right) He does an amazing job for the facility. (Give that man a raise) As advertised the apartment has all the amenities and the apartments are spacious. Good Job Axis @ PTC!!!!

1. Some of my flooring didn’t adhere properly. After I moved in all my belongings, I was informed that to fix it, I would need to move everything out again. 2. Management rarely answers their phones, so I often had to visit their office to speak with someone. 3.The property is not military-friendly. No prorated rent for moving out early for deployments. My previous apartment complex prorated my rent and refunded me under similar circumstances, but that is not the case here. 4. Upon moving out, I didn’t receive my security deposit back due to administrative fees, water fees, and other charges, even though I left the apartment in pristine condition. I attempted to contact management regarding these fees to understand the charges, but I couldn’t reach anyone by phone, resulting in a loss of $200. If you consider renting here, be cautious about these issues. While the apartments are updated, the management experience can be frustrating. However, the maintenance team was excellent.

Great apartment. We NEED better security and more cameras. Also, there should be another dog poop station, especially for residents who do not pick up after their pets.

Responsive, Upbeat, Patient, professional, Great from all around from the staff and people from axis at ptc peninsula Town Center, Hampton, VA..

Amazing and friendly staff, maintenance is always ready to fix anything on the spot, plus the building is pretty quiet! The dog wash station is so handy as well

I looked at many properties in this Hampton area. But once I saw Axis, I really enjoyed it. I been here for over a month and some change and have not had any issues.

I have been living here for 2 years now and I really love this place. The location of the complex is in the middle of everything. The staff are really nice, and they do everything that they can to make sure I'm happy and comfortable living here.

Moved from Houston for work and looked at 9 different properties, And Axis stood out the most for me has all the bells and whistles great location almost everything you need is within walking distance. Vivian was very helpful answered all my questions and made the process very easy. really pleased so far.

I have had a wonderful experience living at AXIS AT PTC. I moved into Axis when they first opened and have so many great memories! It’s so convenient to live within Peninsula Town Center and see all the new developments!

Complex is not worth the money. Pros: modern units, decent location Cons: no designated parking, noisy neighbors, unkempt and trashy common areas Will not be renewing my lease

This apartment complex has a lot of issues.. The foundation is cheap, I place a maintenance order at least once a week. It’s rarely ever clean, people stomping and loud throughout the night. Not a good place to live honestly.

This is just.. *sigh* not so great experience. This apartment complex comes off as a nice enjoyable space to live. However it exemplifies anything but "luxury living". Luxuriant living is not hearing people screaming and stomping at 3 am one a Tuesday. And once a concern is addressed, the leasing office does nothing at all. They're a bit too lenient when it comes to concerns that people have.
