The community itself is nice, the neighbors are pretty quiet no drama no crime despite it being not gated and right off of a major highway. However the units themselves are not that nice. They’re pretty old and the washer and dryer is a two in one which shakes the whole entire apartment when used. And it fits under the kitchen cabinet so it’s not much room for larger things. So you’re gonna end up going to a laundromat anyway. Now what is worth the money is that the amenities are pretty great! Especially the pool and gym they also include cable and Internet in rent But they are nicer apartments nearby that cost about the same.
Too much money for what you would get. Apartments are small and not much storage space.
We moved from out of state and Kiana was so helpful in the province! We love our apartment (we rented it without ever seeing it!). Everything is clean, maintenance is fast, and we love the location

It is in a very nice location everything you need is only a 15 minute drive or less to get to. As far as living there goes if there was ever a problem the Office staff responds quickly and takes care of it very fast and professionally. I’ve enjoyed living here so far I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a laid back apartment community.

In the 6 mths I've lived here it's probably the most worry free of any apartment complex I have lived in. I love the ope Living/Dining/Kitchen, my 1 br/1bath is perfect. The buildings are clean & well maintained, as is the grass. They handle things promptly and are extremely nice. I am having an EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE living here. I've lived at Avion for a year and experienced a lot of the area in the year. This is my honest review of the place. I was not offered anything in return, but asked if I would mind leaving a review, in which I was glad to. First off, the ladies that run the place and the maintenance guys are what make the complex great. Any issue that I have ever had (even outside of business hours), both teams have worked together and resolved it quickly. This has ranged from keys not working all the way to toilet issues. The staff really do care about the happiness of the residents, so urgency is important to them. Second, the complex is in a nice area. There are no creepy people that roam the complex at night and police drive through occasionally anyway. North Dale Mabry Hwy is the main highway that you enter and exit through, but there are stop lights that allow you to get in and out reasonably. This area offers lots of delivery options, and it's off a main highway so there are plenty of places to shop like Publix, Walmart, and so on. Third, the staff regularly schedule maintenance outside of the buildings for cleaning, leaf removal, grass cutting, and they even have a company come in and clean the pond that centers the complex. Parking without a reserved space has never been an issue for me, as there are plenty of spaces. It seems like the management pours the budget back into the complex because they make improvements almost every month. Last, I feel like what I am charged every month for rent is very reasonable for the amenities and what I receive for my rent. We have a very nice pool, a decent gym (like most apartments), a circle path to walk around the large pond, super quick response time for any maintenance issues (which are very few), very friendly faces in the main office, convenience of location, feeling safe for my child and I, regular outdoor maintenance to keep the area clean, regular preventative pest control, and the ladies in the office even host events sometimes such as paint/wine night, free desert, food truck hosting, trivia games, etc.

When I decided to move to Tampa, I came for two days to look for an apartment, went back home with all my prospective locations and 60 days later moved into Avion @ Carrollwood! From my initial visit of the property, Janan was amazing and she was the primary reason I decided to put my application in with Avion over the others that I had visited. The application and move-in process was seamless and the couple of maintenance concerns I have had since moving in were submitted via the online portal and addressed same day. Shout out to Janan and Avion for helping make my transition to Tampa a great one!

I was extremely fortunate to have discovered Avion at Carrollwood. I needed to find an apartment in a timely manner. The property manager went above and beyond to facilitate my move. Subsequently Ana Martin, assistant property manager has been available to me addressing any needs or concerns I have. I highly recommend this apartment complex. The office staff is always available, the community is friendly and I feel very safe in the environment. Specifically my apartment unit exceeded my expectations.

Avion at Carrollwood is an amazing place to live! The office staff are so friendly and help you with everything! They make you feel at home and are always asking how they can help. The property is clean and the pond makes you feel like you're at an oasis. There is a pool and gym, and the pond has a walk way to get in some exercise too. Pets are welcome. The units are remodeled and are beautiful! I love the package lockers so your mail is safe. Any maintenance issues are resolved so quickly. The other residents are quiet and friendly! You will love living here!

We’re from Miami and making the tradition was amazing the staff is always friendly and helpful , more so if there was a problem I was always given the proper help and responses ! The area is amazing and quite , the residents are friendly and respectful . This is my favorite spot to be after a long day of work . It’s a family oriented community ! I’m glad I choose this spot ! Moved here 7 months ago. Love the location, staff is friendly. Leasing staff put things together for the community during holidays. Christy was who I met but is no longer with the property but Sara is amazing. Maintenance has been wonderful at addressing problems. Really close to a lot of restaurants, stores etc. I’d recommend others to move here.

Do not recommend. This place is home to a lot of stray animals (CATS). Up to 11 now at my building. Management allows residents to leave trays of food outside for animals. You will come home to urine all over your car, balcony and front porch area. Cats sleep sleep on your cars and etc.
The only thing “Luxurious” is the location. The kitchen/bath cabinets are the old 1980’s faux wood style particle board type. The counter get a new coat of sprayed on color paint. YES they are sprayed on. The bathtub and sink with very old fixture need to be replaced. You can begin to see the spray coating coming off and rust showing. The condition of the walls are splotchy. You can still see the repairs patches from the quick flip the maintenance do. The plumbing is old. Leaks and overflowing are common. The faux wood plank style linoleum that is in my kitchen, bath and entry area is of the worst quality ever. I do happen to have all 3 of my appliance match and are new. Aside from that nothing is new. The Heat pump/AC is antiquated. The Water heater is old and inefficient. There is nothing luxurious about my apartment expect maybe the price. The grounds used to be kept very nicely, now the only spot that gets fresh mulch is directly around the office. The laundry facilities must use the oldest top loading poor functioning washers from the 90’s. the dryers aren’t any better. The Gym has a few bikes, stair steppers, treadmills. They have a few free weights and a Universal machine and an Ab roller. It cost 25.00 a month to gain access to it with a key and code, not really worth it. The pool is large which is nice. I’m not sure what the cleaning schedule is or if there is one. It usually is full of leaves in the circulation drainage areas. Building 8 has bed bugs, building 9 has ants, gnats/maggots, and building 11 has plumbing issues that leak into the down stairs apartment. I could go on. The old office manager Craig is now gone and there is a new management company and new name… The Avana. However the same maintenance crew is here, not promising. You have to pay for Valet Trash each month, the service is form sun-Thurs. it costs $15.00 whether you use it or not. I have seen them take the trash from our apartment and drop them in the Big Blue Bins on property. Tell me what service is that? I already pay for trash in my water utilities. Seem like a rip off. They are advertising Million Dollar Community Renovations. ***Coming Soon/Select Homes*** New tile backsplash in kitchen, upgraded black appliances. New Cabinetry w Brushed Nickel Pulls, Newly Refinished Countertops. New wood like plank flooring. I’m not holding my breath. If you decide to rent here make sure you actually see the unit they are offering to you, not just the model.

This apartment complex has been taken over by new management. They are only concerned with getting every penny they can from their tenants instead of providing the services they are supposed to as landlords. There were gaps under the front door so large that bugs could easily come into the apartment. I kept my apartment extremely clean, but roaches were always a problem in my apartment as well as others throughout the complex. Also, laundry is an issues as there are always at least 3 or 4 laundry/dryers that are out of order. Unfortunately, most of the time the management of the complex was notified of an issue, it was not taken care of. I have lived in 8 different complexes across the country an would say this was the worst experience I have ever had.
Ii lived in this proprty 3 years It was nice after that they change the mangers they was Arrogant and they don't care if you lived 3 years or 1 month for real I don't recommend this proprty no more and I feel better now because I move from there
Great place, dog friendly, close to the action. Community pool , big backyard.
I have lived in this complex for about 3 years, I personally really love it here. Its a great neighborhood,there are a lot of things in walking distance! you can go on a walk and feel safe, thats one of the most important things to me. the current manager is great, she listens to what you have to say and seems nice. The only thing I do not like is that they increase the rent every time you renew your lease, although that may be at a lot of complexes.

This building is near everything, grocery stores, entertainment i.e. Movie Theatres, bars, restaurants and my place of employment. The leasing office is very helpful and engaging. The maintenance crew could be a little more quicker with responding to problems, but they are not bad. The building itself could use some upgrading, the units as well. There is only one area where you can pick up your mail, which is annoying and to send mail, the leasing office must be open, since the outgoing mail box is in the leasing office. Overall, it's an average place.
