Avery Philly

Going on month 3 living here and I love it! The community is so nice and welcoming, and I feel there is always a connection, especially at events. Everything else is amazing, the staff, cleanliness, and suppport! I love it!

The avery is a great alternative for living near campus. As someone who used to live on the dorms, i can say moving to the avery was one of the best decisions i’ve made. The rooms offer a great sense of privacy. I love having my own room and bathroom. there are also many amenities and activities you’ll never get bored. It’s a great adorable living option near campus!

I honestly love it here. There’s great amenities included with the lease, everyone’s friendly and helpful, and there’s never a problem with any neighbors! This is my second year here and I would love to renew my lease again .

The staff are friendly and helpful, always making sure everything runs smoothly. The location is perfect too; it’s close to everything I need and still quiet enough to relax. I really appreciate how safe and comfortable the building feels. The design, the views, even the little details make it special. Every time I walk in, I feel calm and happy to be here. Avery Philly isn’t just an apartment — it’s truly a place where I feel at ease and inspired. Definitely one of the best places to live in Philadelphia! ?????

So far has been really great. The staff is very attentive and helpful. When I put in a maintenance order request the maintenance team is extremely diligent and quick to fix what is wrong.

I have enjoyed living here so far and have been able to focus on my studies without many distractions. Employees are wonderful. No issues!!!

I think it’s good but I have been seeing a lot of bugs and roaches lately and been hearing a lot of other people are seeing the same thing and having that issue as well.

It’s good so far however the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy. When first moved in the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned so had to clean myself

Wonderful experience at the Avery! I enjoy the amenities, the gym space, our lawn, kitchen space, and my own space as well. My room is spacious and offers a beautiful view of Temple's campus.

The office worker, security guards, and Custodial staff all are wonderful people and you can tell they enjoy their jobs and community! All of my neighbors are very sweet and understanding people and we are all happy to stay together!

The Avery is well-situated near Temple University campus, an easy 12-minute walk to my classes. There are various restaurants nearby to choose from and a local grocery store within a 2-minute walk. Each floor features laundry facilities accessible throughout the week; please be mindful of when others may be using the machines. My only complaint about the studio apartment is that the kitchen is relatively small, so you need to do your dishes after every meal. I pay extra for the top floor, and it's worth the view. The staff, maintenance, and security are fantastic. They always work hard to ensure everyone is being taken care of! I recommend living here if you're a Temple student for sure!

Overall great place to live, however, the walls could be a little thicker for noisy neighbors. Great amenities, great appliances and weekly floor cleaning

The equipment is aging, and there are many cockroaches in the kitchen area. And it was very noisy outside in the morning with construction noises, making it hard to sleep.

the studio apartment I am in is a great size and I love it. Also, every time I have put in a maintenance request, they have dealt with the problem fairly quickly. Only issue is you might have some bugs when you move in.

So far it’s ok everything been mating the way I would like it to . I haven’t got my apartment number yet I’m looking forward to it. I have a friend in the apartment already

Staff was amazing and super accommodating! I was able to move-in very quickly and everything was handled well. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was perfect fine! Especially when I pick up my luggage, staffs always talk with a smile. also, b2k2 suite is pretty good, I met a good roommate. But the thing is that second floor always hear sounds outside. Add the soundproof windows should be great!

Everyone has been really helpful and kind so far. I love the amenities and the cleanliness. I also love how close we are to everything and especially our space.

It sets the tone for the whole building and makes everyday comings and goings feel a bit more elevated. Maintenance and cleanliness in common areas are generally kept to a good standard, which adds to the positive atmosphere. However, one downside is the thin walls between units. Sound travels more easily than expected, and you may hear conversations, TVs, or other everyday noises from neighbors. While not necessarily a dealbreaker, it is something to consider if quiet living is a top priority. Overall, a solid choice with both strengths and drawbacks.

Very nice and affordable apartment with good neighbours. The people at the front desk are always helpful. The security guards are fun to talk to as well. Avery is a great place for affordable living

Nice accommodation and nice services. The rooms only need to renew the ceiling and paint, increase the lighting, and add drawers to the kitchen.

The staff is so friendly, and the building is so clean. I really enjoy living here; the common spaces always smell so good. Their are also so many events for the community.

The space is comfortable and the neighborhood is full of adventure and lots of things to see and do. The Leasing team went out of their way to help me get comfortable and make sure I had everything I needed to settle into my new apartment.

While the amenities are great and the location is excellent, the rooms are very small and the walls are very thin. In terms for the rooms, it is decent size for a bedroom but once you get to the kitchenette it is just not sustainable for cooking at all. I struggled to find a place to put my tv as well. The mail package system is great, however.

I love my unit and living here at Avery. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed by the community and impressed by how thoughtfully everything is designed.

I’ve been living at Avery Philly for seven months and it’s been a great experience. I never feel alone here, and I’ve even made good friends. The maintenance team is quick and reliable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The building feels safe, clean, and welcoming—definitely a place I’d recommend.

The move-in process ran very smoothly and they planned fun activities for all of move-in week. The building looks clean and is very well maintained. It has all the amenities I need as a student and also as a resident. I only gave it 4 stars because my room has a cockroach problem, but the maintenance staff was very quick to help with the issue. So far, I really like it here!

Apartment is very nice just really small with no in unit washer and dryer or full kitchen. Nice community that this apartment has a lot of nice amenities.

The staff always reaches back in a timely matter to resolve any issues I have! The apartment complex has so much to offer and is one of the best off-campus housing!

I love living at the Avery! The staff is so welcoming! and the community is very close and friendly. It feels like a family. I also love the location as it offers easy access to fun food places like fat shack.

Love how it's so close to campus. Lots of amenities. It sort of reminds me of living in a dorm but way cheaper. Out of all the places I've looked apartment wise to live "off campus" Avery was the best choice. All the other apartments were charging absurd amounts and wasn't as understanding or lenient as the others.

Avery has been my home for a while, and I’m grateful for the sense of community that the staff fosters. The building’s location is also a great advantage, as it’s close to many appealing activities. The space is sufficient to cover the basic necessities, and having free laundry and a gym in one place is a great convenience.

I have lived here for four years, and it has been a great experience. Since moving in, there have been renovations and new management that have improved both the amenities and community activities. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The location is also convenient, with easy access to places that are appealing to students. The only downside is that some nearby streets feel safer than others.

The staff themselves are wonderful, I would say if you’re looking for something bigger than maybe this isn’t for you. The room is comfy and the price is great

I had a great experience renting this place. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. You can easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants.

You hear everything from outside and your neighbors, two bedrooms share one mini fridge, and there are communal washer and dryers. Location is very convenient and I always felt safe though.

Even though I haven't moved in yet, I've been calling the office with so many questions since it's my first time ever getting an apartment. Everybody has been so helpful and has been answering my questions! Can't wait to move in and start the semester!

Infested with roaches and no communication from office about anything going on. Hated living here. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to live here.

I love living here at the Avery. Everyone is very friendly and helpful whenever needed. Everything is taken care of very well and I couldn't have picked a better place.

The service was wonderful by Avery. They showed much more effort in their tour even though I am still outside the US. The communication between leasing agent through email was fantastic. But there is one small trouble that I faced recently, there is lack of communication regarding my queries. Kindly respond. Thanks

Getting my lease approved was a bit of a process, but whenever I had questions, Andre was always there to help. He answered everything to the best of his ability and was very kind and understanding throughout. His support definitely made the experience less stressful. I appreciate his patience and professionalism!

So far I love it here the amenities are great and staff has been very friendly. The only issue i’ve really had was that the hallway on the 8th floor smelled a lil musty.

Since moving here, the staff has been very attentive and always willing to help when needed. I consider this a safe and comfortable place to live and study. The renovations have been beautiful and have added to the overall convenience and appeal of the space.

Overall good experience. The property is safe although the kitchen is tiny. Would love if they provide more furniture in 2b2k apartments and a place to store utensils in the community kitchen.
