Infested with roaches and no communication from office about anything going on. Hated living here. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to live here.

I love living here at the Avery. Everyone is very friendly and helpful whenever needed. Everything is taken care of very well and I couldn't have picked a better place.

The service was wonderful by Avery. They showed much more effort in their tour even though I am still outside the US. The communication between leasing agent through email was fantastic. But there is one small trouble that I faced recently, there is lack of communication regarding my queries. Kindly respond. Thanks

Getting my lease approved was a bit of a process, but whenever I had questions, Andre was always there to help. He answered everything to the best of his ability and was very kind and understanding throughout. His support definitely made the experience less stressful. I appreciate his patience and professionalism!

So far I love it here the amenities are great and staff has been very friendly. The only issue i’ve really had was that the hallway on the 8th floor smelled a lil musty.

Since moving here, the staff has been very attentive and always willing to help when needed. I consider this a safe and comfortable place to live and study. The renovations have been beautiful and have added to the overall convenience and appeal of the space.

Overall good experience. The property is safe although the kitchen is tiny. Would love if they provide more furniture in 2b2k apartments and a place to store utensils in the community kitchen.

I’ve had a mixed experience living at Avery Philly. The neighborhood is quite decent — you have a bunch of food joints and a grocery store nearby, which makes day-to-day errands pretty convenient. The SEPTA station is just a 5-minute walk away, so public transportation access is a big plus. That said, the apartments themselves could use some improvement. The rooms are small, and the living rooms tend to be very dark, which can make the space feel a bit cramped and gloomy. The pantry setup inside the rooms isn’t very convenient — it feels like more thought could’ve been put into the layout and storage options. On the positive side, the community kitchen is well-equipped and clean, which helps balance out some of the shortcomings inside the individual units. Overall, Avery Philly offers decent value if you prioritize location and shared amenities, but be aware of the limited natural light and smaller room sizes

It was great living here. However, I wish when I came in with complaints the manager or someone else would be more prompt in working toward solutions for complaints I came in with.

The new management at Avery Apartments has been great! When I first arrived in late 2024, they were in the process of transitioning out the previous team. Since the new management took over, things have really improved — it’s been a much better experience living here. So if the new team see’s this Good Job guys????????

The Avery is a very pretty place , and they are close to everything. However, I moved in when they did't finish some major parts of the building so I've experienced some inconveniences, other than that I really enjoy this place.

I recently moved into my studio apartment, and it's been a great experience overall. The space is cozy yet feels surprisingly open thanks to smart design choices, like the large windows letting in plenty of natural light. The kitchenette is compact but fully equipped, perfect for someone who likes to cook simple meals. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient—close to public transportation, grocery stores, and Temple University campus. I appreciate the building's overall cleanliness and security. The management team has also been super responsive whenever I've needed something fixed or had questions. My only minor complaint would be the thin walls, but it's manageable.

I have enjoyed my time living here but it can be really noisy sometimes. The people at the main office also are a bit hard to approach. But the people at the lobby desk are always friendly.

The staff are so kind. The building is kept super clean all of the time. Maintenance is super kind. The community events are such a nice perk too!! I love it here!!

I love living here, the people are so nice and respectful. Everything you paying includes amenities which I find helpful and useful. I think the rooms are small but you get use to it

I have been living here for 2 years now and I still have no complaints and if I ever did, the problems will be handed immediately. It is a great environment and space to be around.

There is a serious problem of noise. Every night, I am deeply disturbed by the noise from my neighbors. I have complained and informed the security, but the problem remains unsolved fundamentally. The sound insulation in this room is very poor. It is recommended that some improvements be made. After complaints of noise, there was no effective solution.

Avery is a pleasant place to live. Going to Temple or any of the surrounding institutions is a great place to call home. It is a cozy atmosphere with excellent amenities.

Isaac and Hannah made the signing a breeze. I had given Hannah a tough time because I wasn't sure if I wanted to make Avery my home or not, but she gave me a lot of patience. Isaac helped seal the deal and showed me why Avery would be the best choice, and I'm so excited to move in now I want to skip summer!

No communication about any updates. Things keep changing. There’s bugs everywhere and it’s gross. Can’t wait to move out and not waste my money there.

Overall, my experience has been good. The building has all the basic amenities needed for comfortable living, and its location is convenient, being close to many essential places. It provides a pleasant living environment. They do community activites and they are fun.

I have enjoyed living here and I love the maintenance team, however, management has not been the best and often unhelpful. Despite, this, I do love the building.

There are many cockroaches in the kitchen. The neighborhood is noisy and dirty.

Good management, timely with maintenance requests, everyone who works here is very kind, the building is secure & my apartment is nice. Secure mail delivery! Great amenities. Late to gather trash and chute has been broken for 6 months. Main issue is with often with other residents- failing to properly bag trash or leaving laundry in room for extended periods of time (building also lacks enough machines per floor). Have had very little pest issues up until now, am dealing with a german roach infestation. Believe they came from my neighbor, but they could have gotten them from elsewhere in the building as well. They are a nightmare & I wish that management would send out a mass email about proper cleanliness tactics & to take extra care not to bring potentially roach-infested items in- or at the very least letting residents know if the whole building is being treated. I can only treat my own room, and am not sure the status of others in the building.

Good booking experience and nice staff which made the process easy and intuitive. The rooms are small be functional which for 899 dollars is not bad for the area.

Honestly, after having lived here for the past 6 months, I don't think you could beat the price for the amazing amenities you get. The remodeled gym, free laundry, beautiful study rooms, and wifi/housekeeping are awesome. The only 'downside' i'd say are the kitchenettes, you can't really cook a lot. However, the communal kitchen on the 1st floor comes in handy! You get more than what you pay for in my opinion, but overall it's been a good place for a student on a budget. The location is also amazing! So close to Temple campus, Cecil B. Station, the IBC Rec Center, and a grocery store.

Kitchens are smaller however everything is perfect and the best thing is its near to department and bus stop and subway. I would also suggest that in this rent, the rooms should be larger.

This place is great! The residents are nice, the staff is friendly and accommodating and I love gushing over the dogs in the building. This place has so much to offer!

No communication with residents about updates or changes to the building. Changed the gate locks without informing anyone. Back door has been closed off forever with no update about when it’s open or why it’s closed.

The staff were unhelpful and dismissive whenever I raised concerns. Their lack of professionalism made it difficult to address issues. The roach infestation was a significant issue. Despite multiple reports, management failed to provide effective pest control, affecting my comfort and peace of mind. I would not recommend.

I have loved living here the staff is always kind and helpful and the amenities are great. Utilities are all included, even laundry, and I haven't had any problems with the functionality of anything. Only complaint is there's a connecting door between me and my neighbors room; it doesn't open, however, everything can be heard through it which can get annoying at times, but overall great place definitely recommend!

Friendly staff and maintenance team is quick. Overall, the activities are many for you to interact/engage with other students. It is accessible to many stores near by.

As a Temple grad student, this community is a no-brainer in terms of value. The move-in process was quick and application was easy. This is a resident-first community (no profit-driven vibes here). Location is great: it is a stone's throw away from campus, grocery, and public transit a fifteen minute walk from the air train. Amenities are great: new gym, new community kitchen, study & game rooms. Staff is very friendly and seemingly goes out of there way to address your concerns. The fact that all units are furnished at such a low price make this an attractive option for out-of-state residents like myself. Despite the small space, there are lots of "third-place" options nearby and on-site to make the place feel much larger than it is.

I enjoy it a lot! I like how close we are to the grocery store and campus, and the study rooms are great. Sometimes bugs can sneak in through the windows but otherwise it’s okay. I enjoy the event that the office holds as well! ( also I love how dog friendly it is )

During my residency, I've had a generally positive experience, particularly regarding maintenance responsiveness. Whenever I've reported an issue, the maintenance team has been impressively quick to respond. Most requests are addressed within a day or two, which is a relief, especially when dealing with urgent matters. Their efficiency has made living here much more comfortable. However, there's one persistent concern: the smell in the study rooms. While the facilities are otherwise well-maintained, I've noticed an unpleasant odor that lingers in these spaces. It can be distracting, especially during long study sessions. Overall, the experience here is fantastating and supportive. I love living here.

They are amazing because they are providing all necessary services in the rental. I shared Avery philly with my circle and few of them will be joining next year
