Property Ratings at Avana Overlook
Avana Overlook is one a few apartments that feel like they’re still in the country even though it’s in the middle of the city. It’s relatively quiet, has a lot of trees and hills. The pool areas are kept very nice as well. Also, the head of maintenance rides around on his go kart and will give you a little wave and say hi as he’s examining the property making sure everything is kept up nicely.

More than a year now I have been asking to move to a bigger unit which I was told than because you all team person told me about this Jetty I would have to pay deposit all over which I already deposited $1398 which I had no clue that I wasn’t going to get back my money.I complained more than once my bathroom is a hot mes which I was asked to leave my apartment and not use the tub for 48 hours like am I suppose to bathe outside?which you all just painted the tub before I moved in there.I had no option at the moment because I never wanted to move in the because it was stick of weed and I was given air freshener to put on the vent.The wash room door fell on me and they did changed it thanks again to Gary.They charge pest control and the most insect I have to live with even in my blessed sleep I have to jump out of my sleep which was insects and they is roach.
Don’t do it. They show you a nice unit and then put you in one that’s nasty and needs a lot of maintenance. And they argue with you about replacing things that are broken or can’t be cleaned.

My move in experience was the easiest. It was so smooth. I did everything online and was able to pick up my keys later in the day. By far the best move in I’ve ever had. Prices are really good as well. Beautiful property with really great amenities.

-Poor management. Doesn't work with residents, or take care of residents causing issues. -Was shown a demo unit that wasn't comparable to the unit I received. -LOUD. Tons of road noise, loud neighbors as well. -Good luck closing out your lease. So many hoops to run through because this place is downright incompetent and customer unfriendly.

As a "preferred employer" renter, this is an awesome apt compared to what else i found near my work place. 1 star is because the units themselves are decent. The surrounding area is horrific, the complex is dirty, the complex does need feel safe, they charge you an arm and a leg just to move in, and the office is a mess. Has been a horrible experience. Stay away.

We have been moved in for a few weeks, so far it’s been great here. Maintenance is fast. Anytime we’ve had any questions, the leasing office has been very helpful. It’s hard to find a decent apartment but we are content so far!

I WOULDN'T recommend this complex to anyone! it’s under poor management, the living condition is very much unsanitary, they don’t respond to work under on time, the buildings are dirty and roach and insect infested though mandatory pest control is paid when rent is being paid the valet trash service got your door smelling like a sewer very uncomfortable and disgusting, apartments not maintain properly before move in and you can’t view your unit until moving date very unfortunate a list of NO GOOD things here that I've personally request get look into and they’ve been ignored! This place is poorly managed and make living experience very horrible for the price that residents have to pay very horrible and unsanitary living environment I'm 0.1 second from breaking the least agreement for a better living condition

This is the worse place I have ever lived. I put in a request for my tub to be fixed in June 2022, two weeks after I moved in. The excuse I get is “the vendors are booked and there are tubs that look worse than this”. They showed me a model which obviously was nicer than the actual unit. I’ve put in a request to have my door fixed and they tell me someone is coming. I still haven’t had my air vents changed neither. I go into the office and they tell me they will be working on it. We are required to pay $25 for valet trash and people DO NO PICK IT UP! It is unacceptable. DO NOT SIGN HERE. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE !

Absolutely do not move here. Its overpriced They show you a beautiful demo apartment to get you in. Bugs are horrible, only one pool operational in 2 years. Maintenance is a joke. Stove been out almost 2 years, cant get air conditioner fixed, cabinets falling off kitchen wall.

I would not rent here if I knew what I know now. They need a maintenance man that’ll work and that knows how to do their job. There were too many issues from day 1, I can only imagine what other tenants are going through.

Not being able to see the apartment that you will move into was not ideal. The apartment needed clean, better working appliances. Maintenance is very slow at fixing issues. I’m going on a month here and issues not addressed from my move in date. If you put in a work order, I don’t think maintenance sees or reads the notes if there are several issues. Other than those things, the office management is nice and professional and the area is quiet. The location is ideal. Once everything is finally working, I think I’ll love my apartment.

I love this community! It's quiet, always plenty of parking, friendly neighbors, and the staff is nice and helpful. These apartments were the only ones we found in the short time frame we had that offered a 2 bedroom in our price range! We love our apartment!

Pleasant atmosphere. Great leasing agents and staff. The office is always there to assist any issues in a timely manner. Close to everything, grounds are clean and neighbors are very nice.
